And just wanted to pass along these announcements, first of all, the Seneca at Ithaca High School

Boys Basketball Game, that was supposed to be held tonight, has been postponed and that

will be held on Friday, January 24th at 5.45.

So the Seneca Boys and Girls Youth Basketball that was supposed to be held tomorrow, that's

the basketball practice that was supposed to be held tomorrow from 8 until 9 has been

canceled.

And the Seneca High School Snowball Dance that was supposed to be held tomorrow at 8

pm has been postponed, make update will be announced at a later date.

Filney has a look at tonight's area high school sports schedule.

Overdale is wrestling and Iowa Grant against Iowa Grant Highland this evening.

Boys Basketball is soda with kick-a-poo, Black River Falls is at Westby, Darlington,

Cuba City, Boschabell at Phenomore, Southwestern Visits Middlepoint, Iowa Grant at Riverdale.

In Girls Basketball, Marshall travels to Wisconsin Heights, Wisconsin Dells at Adams Friendship.

And in the Southwest Wisconsin Conference, Platteville is at Prairie Dushin, Lancaster

at Dodgeville, and River Valley is at Richland Center.

It's a match up between two schools whose programs are under first year head coaching.

River Valley is coached by Joe Woodhouse.

We've had good games from a variety of different girls, Brooklyn Stokes, and Prenaud Borner

to returning Honorable Munchen, All Counted Skills from last year.

Ella Myers is stepped up to the sophomore.

Kenzie Woodhouse, he's had a couple of good games last couple of games.

And we've had good, good things from Bella Divini as a freshman coming up.

And she's been out the last couple of weeks, but hopefully we'll get back here and her

sister Lexi and Heidi Eglin and all the girls have kind of stepped up into their role

and provided the things that we needed to to help us become successful.

River Valley coming off a couple of wins earlier this week.

One against Riverdale, another against Ithaca.

They'll be at Richland Center tonight.

Hornets are coached by Jeremy Kui.

It's one of those games, whether it's boys, girls, whichever sport for whatever reason

these two schools like to go at it.

So hopefully we both bring our best tonight and put on a good game for the fans.

We had a little injury problem on Tuesday night.

Certainly they start to crop up sometimes this time of the season, don't they?

Yes, they do.

Unfortunately, a couple of people are out and so we just have to make the adjustments with

the girls that we have and just get out there and then get after it.

The Vittesnik Power Sports Free Game Show begins at 715.

They will be honoring the 2002, 2003 and 2003, 2004, Richland Center Girls Basketball

State Teams during half time of tonight's varsity game.

I am Phil Ne for WRCO Sports.

Box veterans, Yannisante de Coupal and Chris Middleton are hurting, but they are expected

to play in tonight's home game against the Toronto Raptors.

Milwaukee will try to extend its winning streak to three in a row.

The two players are listed as probable on the team's injury report.

And to Coupal is dealing with the Sony and Middleton is still troubled by ankle pain following

off-season surgery.

Packers coach Matt LaFloris thinks rookie Lighten Becker, Edgerton Cooper, could be an

NFL superstar.

Cooper just finished a rookie season that saw him produce 13 tackles for loss, three

and a half sacks, two fumble recoveries, four pass breakups, seven quarterback kits,

an interception and a forced fumble.

Packers wire reports Coupal's coach thinks continued development could elevate him, I should

say, to the elite tier of pro linebackers.

So football focus rates Cooper as the league's top rated defensive player over NFL Weeks

15 through the 18th.

Greenback Packers have fired Jason Rebelvitch as defensive line coach, less than a week after

their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC wild card playoff round.

The 46 year old Rebelvitch spent three seasons working on LaFloris coach Greenback's

staff.

He was the outside land backers coach in 2022, a past rush specialist in 2023 and defensive

line coach this season.

He previously coached with the Buffalo Bills from 2013 through the 16th and the Jacksonville

Jaguars from 2017 through 20.

Milwaukee fans could listen to Bob Euker's broadcast brewers games for over a half century,

but he showed off his play by play skills and comedic talent for most of a, for more

of a national audience when he was a peer when he appeared in the 1989 classic major league

as Cleveland announced their Harry Doyle.

Like many of the characters that made major league a hit, Doyle was a character to sure.

He wore his hopes and frustrations on his sleeves as the home team bumbled through the

start of the season and then stormed into contention.

Euker's deadpan delivery made his lines particularly humorous and added some authenticity to the

baseball scenes.
