Plenty of action tonight, including wrestling action at the Prairie Dushin duels, Richland
Center Head Coach Silas Coleman talked to us this week about the duel day and why it's
earlier this year.
So last year we kind of decided as Conference Coaches that we wanted to see this move forward
just because it was having it later in the year.
We'd wrestle those duels on one Saturday and then the next Saturday we were wrestling
each other again at the clash.
So it just made more sense for us to move on the head earlier in the year.
Just that way we can obviously get that competition in still but then open up either a weekend
just to kind of rest your guys or to pick up an additional tournament later in the year
which was a huge benefit for us this year with having their toll my tournament canceled
and being able to pick up another tournament later on.
That's Silas Coleman, Richland Center River Valley and all the Southwest Conference teams
at Prairie Dushin tonight for the conference duels.
Last night in wrestling it was Cuba City Benton Southwestern getting the win over River
Day.
That final score was 42-32.

While the Eagles are four and a half point favorites to beat the Packers in Sunday's NFL Wild
Card playoff game, both teams are expected to have their starting quarterbacks available.
A diving interception off an ill-advised pass set up Notre Dame's trip to play for the
program's twelfth national title after a thrill a minute 2724 victory over Penn State
Thursday night in the semifinal at the Orange Bowl, fighting Irish defensive bat Christian
Gray snared Drew Allers pass across the middle as the Nintany Lions worth 42 and 33 seconds
left in the game.
The border battle between the Badgers and Minnesota will likely fill the Culls Center tonight,
tip off for the big 10 conference game is scheduled for 6 p.m.
The Golden Gofers bring an 0-4 conference record into the showdown.
The team's top scorer is senior forward Dawson Garcia, who averages just over 18 a game
and seven rebounds as well.
Here the game on WRC EFM 107.7 and AM 1450.
And the box gets set to battle tonight against the Orlando Magic, they're in Florida to

Filney has a look at tonight's high school schedule.
One of the top events going on tonight, Southwest Conference Wrestling duels at Prairie
Dushin High School.
And talking about that is head coach Silas Coleman of the Richland Center Wrestling
Team.
The other side of the conference coach is that we wanted to see this move forward just
because it was having it later in the year.
We'd wrestle those duels on one Saturday and then the next Saturday we were wrestling
each other again at the clash.
So it just made more sense for us to move on the head earlier in the year.
Just that way we can, you know, obviously get that competition in still, but then open
up either a weekend just to kind of rest your guys or to pick up an additional tournament
later in the year, which was a huge benefit for us this year with having their Tom White
tournament canceled and being able to pick up another tournament later on.
The Southwest Conference Wrestling, all of its dual meets tonight at Prairie Dushin.
If I got travels to to Soto for boys and girls basketball, Riverdale at Southwestern,

Highland at Black Hawk, Cooley Christian visits Weston and in the Southwest Conference, Lancaster
at Plattville, Dodgeville at River Valley and Prairie Dushin at Richland Center.
The Hornets Coach Brian Pol says Prairie Dushin has struggled at times, but look out for
them.
You know, when we watched the film this week, a couple of games, you can see that they
come out and they give, they give, they're going to give effort.
I mean, they're, they're not going to just come out and go through the motions.
It's going to be a well fought game.
They're going to come out and play hard.
Their coach has them playing hard.
But like I said, we just need to focus on what we want to get done, what we do well.
So we want to get that ball inside offensively and not necessarily take the first thing that
comes our way because they're going to be opportunities.
We can't, can't get into that trap of just maybe taking that first open three pointer
that we get.
We've got to be patient.
We've got to get that ball down to our strength, which is down low and play inside out and just
play really tough defense against the team that struggles against some pressure.
Well, have the game tonight on WRC OFM 100.9 and WRC O.com pregame time around 715 Prairie
Dushin at Richland Center Boys Basketball.
I'm Phil Ne.
The border battle between Wisconsin and Minnesota likely filled the Cole Center tonight, tip
off for the big 10 conference game is scheduled for six.
The golden goal first, bringing an O and four conference record into the showdown.
The team's top score is senior forward, Dawson Garcia, who averages just over 18 points
and seven rebounds per game.
And you'll be able to hear the broadcast of that game between Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Tonight on WRC E107.7 and AM 1450 and pregame for that show is currently underway.
The Philadelphia Eagles are four and a half point favorites to beat the Packers in some
days NFL wildcard playoff game.
Well teams are expected to have their starting quarterbacks available.
Both Jalen Hertz and Jordan Love participated in team practices yesterday.
Hertz has been out since suffering a concussion in December 22nd game against the Washington
commanders.
Love hurt his elbow in the last game against the Chicago Bears, but was able to make all
the throws in the Packers practice on Thursday.
veteran Chris Middleton scored eight points coming off the bench in his new role with the
bucks on Wednesday night.
He'll be there again tonight.
Rich Doc Rivers confirmed the change before the 121 to 105 win over this spurs.
The statistics look good for Middleton as a starter 16 points by three bounce and five
assists per game with 45% shooting on three pointers.
He won't be starting when Milwaukee plays in Orlando against the magic tonight.
Rivers pointed out that the team struggled to a three and four record in the seven games
Middleton started.
The Brewers will go to arbitration to determine the salary for catcher William Contreras.
The team announced to yesterday that it has reached agreement with five of its six players
who are eligible to go to a hearing.
All pitchers, Nester Cortez, Aaron Sadell, Trevor McGill, Joel Piopps and Nick Mears have
signed deals.
McGill is expected to be Milwaukee's closer in the 2025 season after he thrived in the
world last year while Devon Williams was out.
