Games going on tonight in boys basketball. Last night's Wisconsin Heights at River Valley game has been moved to tonight. That'll happen at our VHS. Also Hillsboro's at Bangor in basketball.

We're coming off a tough couple conference games with Cubicity and Mineral Point and looking forward to getting back home here on a Friday night right before Christmas break and hopefully getting to get another conference win.
You feel you played two of the conference's best back to back? Yeah, yep. We were on the road on Tuesday night went to Cuba and on the Thursday last Thursday we hosted Mineral Point. Both games their pressure got to us. We hung around for about first six, seven minutes of each game and then kind of wore down and and got got to be pretty bad both games. So when you look at Iowa Grant, how do you match up with them?
Favorably, especially our guards are feeling like our guards are going to be able to get north south, get in the lane and create some things for us.
They have a really nice six foot center, Adrian Bittick. She's scored about 15 points of game. So she's going to be our focal point defensively, but I feel like we have a game plan in place where hopefully we can counteract her and knock down some shots and finish it off.
We will have that game tonight on FM 100.9 following the vetsning power sports pregame show, which will begin around seven o'clock tomorrow. I've coverage reports from the Richland wrestling invitational tournament. Richland center head wrestling coach Silas Coleman. Talk to me about how the teams been wrestling after a postponement last week.
It's been a little while since the team has been on the mat back on the 10th and at the kick up. We tried that we had to kick up and roll one. I was pretty impressed with him there.
Matt, a lot of girls. I think just even from a royal invite up until that point, just a couple days. They kind of six a few of the things that they they needed to and they they look a lot better than they did a few days prior to that. So I'm excited to see them continuing to grow.
And then you didn't make the trip last weekend. So it's it's been a long time. You're looking forward to some competition this weekend. I'm sure, aren't you?
Yeah, it'll be nice to be able to get them out of the room rest on each other and I'm actually get some some other competition and I think we're going to be quite a bit behind other teams as far as match count goes at this point.
Hopefully we can make that up some events later in the year, but it will be nice to get them out and see some other teams.
Are there any new teams coming into the invitational?
No, so the teams are going to stay the same this year as they have in the past.
You know, we're hoping to add some more numbers, you know, just with overall rosters this year. So hopefully we'll have some full brackets.
What is the timeframe for the tournament in terms of when it starts and projected time for the finals?
So it's start time is going to be nine o'clock. And then we are we're hoping for the finals to be around 330.
Obviously, if things are moving along, we'll move up ahead of that, but we're hoping to start those finals at 330.

Riverdale will be there with Marcus singles as they had coach.
It's going to be a good test. There's a lot of good teams.
I mean, the first real fan all year, so that'll be good for us going into by state.
Yeah, a number of teams in that you probably won't see again this year too, correct?
Couple. Yeah, and a lot of teams we won't see.
Right. And from that standpoint, it's good for upcoming seating as well, isn't it?
Yes, for sure. Definitely going into by state. A lot of most all them teams are at by state. So that's good for us.
