While there's basketball going on indoors, there's football outdoors, the 48th annual WIA state football championships will be held today and tomorrow at Camp Randall Stadium.
The WIA uses Go fan ticketing for all digital and cashless tickets admission for a single game $11 plus online fees for adults and students and all day pass is $30 today and $25 for tomorrow's game.
The opening game will pit Edgar playing in the state title game for the 15th time, which leads all member schools against Potosi Casfield, which will make its first appearance in the state final as a co-op program.
Before the co-op Casfield advanced to the championship game four times, the comments won the division six title in 1982 and they finished runners up in Division 5 in 1980 and in Division 6 in 1987 and 1993.
Potosi has a standalone program advanced to the championship final once in the program's history, the chieftains finished runner up in Division 7 in 2012.
This year the co-op program, the champion of the six rivers conference, it defeated Richland Center in week two of the season along the way during its perfect season.

The white socks have hired the Brewers run prevention coordinator Walker McKinvin.
He will serve as bench coach as the socks are assembling a new staff.
The announcement was made Tuesday. McKinvin had been with Milwaukee since 2016, starting as an advance scout.
The Brewers made it to the postseason six times in his eight seasons.
The white socks are coming up the worst season by any major league baseball team in history when they lost 121 games.
