John Tanya had a career high 41 points to lead Wisconsin to a 138 victory over number

Tanya shot eight of 14 overall, four of six from three point range, and 21 of 22 on
free throw attempts.
His 21 successful free throw attempts set a school single game record.
The game featured a combined 63 fouls and 87 free throws.
Cam Jones scored 18 of his 28 in the second half, and number 15 Marquette held off a late
run by Maryland to pull out a 78-74 game last night in a contest that featured nine ties
and 13 lead changes.
The 4-0 Golden Eagles row, the sharpshooting of Jones, disqueased past a Maryland team
that had won its first three games by 30, 34, and 31 points.
Much of the attention surrounding Wisconsin after last season focused on the players who
had left for other Division I programs after AJ Store transferred to Kansas, and three
year starting point guard Chuckie Hepburn headed to Louisville.
It turns out that adding former Colorado State and Missouri guard John Tanya from the transfer
portal could outweigh any of those losses.

Men's College basketball today Indiana over South Carolina 87-71.
It was Wisconsin Whitewater over St Olaf by a score of 83-80 and Illinois Wesley and
beat Stout 69-57 in college basketball for today.
The two teams suing NASCAR over an anti-trust complaint said today they will compete in
2025 as open teams after the sanctioning body removed the anti-competitive release claims
that will allow them to race while the legal process continues.
