Jordan Love threw a pair of second half touchdowns to tight end Tucker Kraft as the Packers
rallied for a 24 to 19 victory over the Los Angeles Rams yesterday.
Kraft had four catches for a career high 88 yards, Josh Jacobs had 19 carries for 73
yards and scored his first touchdown with the Packers in the first quarter.
For the Rams, Kyring Williams ran the ball 22 times for 102 yards and a touchdown.
The Packers had beaten the Rams 9 in their last 10 regular season meetings.
Green Bay is back home next Sunday to take on Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals.
Green Bay wide receiver Romeo Dobbs is expected to be back with the team this week after he
was suspended for what the Packers described as conduct detrimental to the team.
Coach Matlow Flur set after Green Bay's 24 to 19 victory over Los Angeles that he would
talk to Dobbs today and Dobbs didn't practice last Thursday or Friday.
The Packers said at the time he was dealing with a personal matter with Dobbs out of the
lineup.
Tight end Tucker Kraft had four receptions for 88 yards and two touchdowns and wide receiver
Jayden Reed had four catches for 78 yards, including a highlight real play in the first
quarter.
The ninth ranked Badgers women's volleyball team rolled past 25th ranked Washington in
three sets yesterday afternoon.
Badgers hit 486 on the day.
Sarah Franklin had a match high 12 kills with Anna Schmack adding 10 kills.
Charlie Furbringer put up 32 assists and added one service ace.
The Badgers tallied six service aces as goals Gulken led the team to Liberio Lola Schumacher

Trent Jr. left the game in the second quarter after banging his elbow into Detroit's
jail in Durin.
The Bucks said Trent Jr. won't return to the game with what they called a hyper extended
elbow.
The Bucks continue the preseason on Thursday against LeBron James and the Lakers.

Texas returned to number one after a one week absence following Vanderbilt's monumental
upset of Alabama.
The Commodars win over Alabama on Saturday caused the Crimson tie to drop from number one
to number seven.
The last two, the last top ranked team to fall so far was Ohio State, which plunged
to number 11 in 2010 following an October loss to Wisconsin.
Texas which had an open date received 52 first place votes and became the first team in
two years to bounce in and out of the top spot in a span of three polls.
The Long Horns also were just the 13 since 2008 to be voted number one after not playing
the day before.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are planning to relocate to the New Orleans area to prepare
for Sunday's game against the Saints with Hurricane Milton expected to make landfall along
Florida's West Coast this week.
The Bucks intended to travel Tuesday and spend the rest of the week out of state instead
of practicing as usual at the team's training facility in Tampa.
Milton strengthened into a category five hurricane over the Gulf of Mexico today and could make
landfall in the Tampa Bay area on Wednesday.
The NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning cancelled Monday night schedule preseason finale against
the Nashville Predators.
A judge has given preliminary approval to the $2.78 billion legal settlement that figures
to transform college sports.
U.S. District Judge Claudia Wilkin released an order today setting a timeline for a deal
that would put millions of dollars into the pockets of college athletes who can begin
applying for payment on October 18th.
A final hearing is set for April of 2025.
It finalized the deal would allow the biggest schools to establish a pool of about $21.5
million in the first year to distribute money to athletes.
Players would still be able to cut name, image, and like the steals with outside groups.
In the NCAA Division I Council is expected this week to consider a landmark change in
the eligibility rule that will allow Canadian hockey league players to compete at U.S.
colleges.
The development comes on the heels of a class action lawsuit filed August 13th in U.S. District
Court in New York.
It challenges the NCAA's ban of players from the CHL's Western hockey league, Ontario
hockey league, and Quebec Baratimes Junior hockey league.
In a separate development, a CHL player verbally committed to play at Arizona State forcing
the issue to the forefront.
