Last night home talent baseball, nightly games included a win for Jefferson over Wyoda
2-1.
The nightly exceeds an ended for arena when they were edged by Evansville, one to nothing.
Butville was an 8-3 winner against Sock Prairie, Blanchardville 4-1 over Cottage Grove.
Middleton ended the nightly playoffs for Readsburg 3-2, Cambridge 4-1 over Black Earth.
It was Verona 3, Sun Prairie 2 and Dodgeville got the win against Ashton 4-3.
Week 2 of the nightly home talent playoffs will be held next Thursday and there are games
coming up this weekend.
The home talent baseball Sunday League section championship games are set.
All games will take place this Sunday.
Here are the section championship matchups first for the Southeast section championship.
The number 4 seeded Evansville Jays will be at the number 3 seeded for Ackinson Generals.
In the Northern section championship, the two seeded Ashton A's will be at the one seeded
Sock Prairie Twins.
The Western section championship, the four seeded Pine Bluff Mount Horror Bluffers will be
at the number 2 seed Verona Cavaliers.
And the Eastern section championship, the three seeded Sun Prairie Red Birds will be at
the number 1 seed, the Manona Braves.

Polling season is just around the corner.
The bowling association and leagues have scheduled their meetings.
The Greater Richland USBC Bowling Association will have its annual open meeting on Monday
night at 630 at the Phoenix Center.
All boulders or in leagues at the Phoenix Center are encouraged to attend.
They need a quorum to conduct business.
Officers will be elected, rule changes will be explained, and the city tournament will
be scheduled.
The major league, which bowls on Mondays, will have their meeting on Monday night, immediately
following the association meeting.
The merchants league, which bowls on Wednesdays, will have its meeting on Wednesday at 6
at the Phoenix Center.
The All Star League, which bowls on Thursdays, will have its meeting on Monday at 630 at
the Phoenix Center.
League members are encouraged to attend their respective meetings.
Each league sets their schedule for the season, determines their budget, and votes on any
rule changes.

Packers quarterback Jordan Love will play in the preseason game at Cleveland Saturday after
an injury scare in Thursday's practice.
Head coach Matt LaFloris says he will be smart in the way he uses his starters.
In recent seasons, Aaron Rogers and other starters skipped preseason action, but that resulted
in some cases in weak results when the regular season started.
Green Bay also had a Christian Watson injury scare in Wednesday's practice.
The Packers have brought in another kicker, Alex Hale, and it's a three-way kicker competition.
