Bare Valley co-ed softball tournament late breaking news.

Number one, why connect wireless took on the number eight master batters.

Why connect took the lead in the first when Regan Sookla hit a single to bring in Kaley Wolf.

In the third, the batters put points on the board that they wouldn't be able to hold off.

Why connect from going on an 11 run scoring streak to seal the game.

Why connect one 16 to leading them.

Regan Sookla with three runs scored in Ross Gaston, Scott Omen and Jake Morris with two

RBIs of peace. Ross Gaston pitched four strikeouts and three walks allowed.

Leading the master batters was Bodhi Hillishim and Kevin Schmitz with one run scored each

and Bodhi Hillishim and Chris Schmidt each getting one RBI a piece.

Pitcher Kevin Schmitz got two strikeouts and allowed two walks.

The eight o'clock game featured number four seed bear veil farms versus number five seed

New York life. The game started out nothing nothing through the first two innings until Shannon

Stinichka hit a single to bring in two runs for bear veil.

The next at bat New York life showed some life and Ryan Peterson hit a two run home run to bring the

score to two to two. Those would be the only runs New York life would score and bear

veil farms would continue to go on a scoring streak to win 14 to two.

Leading bear veil was David Jones and Nakaya Hawkinson with three runs scored and Hawkinson,

David Jones and Derek Wiley with two RBIs of peace.

David Jones pitched two strikeouts and had two walks allowed bear veil will play why connect

August 15th in a seven o'clock game. Leading New York life was Ryan Peterson and Amber Jacobson

with one run scored each and Ryan Peterson with two RBIs New York life plays master batters next

Thursday at 8 p.m. in game five of the tournament. The Brewers are back into action this weekend.

They're in Washington to take on the Nationals Milwaukee is 61 and 47 in first place in the

NL Central. The Nationals 49 and 60 fourth place in the National League East. New Brewer Frankie Montez

will take his four and eight record with a 501 ERA into the game. The Nationals will send Jake

Irvin who is eight and eight on the season. That game with the first page time of five 45

this afternoon can be heard on WRC FM 107.7 and AM 1450. There were a few games played in the

majors. Most notably the Cubs over St. Louis five four Atlanta beat Miami four two Kansas City seven

one over Detroit Cleveland 10 three winners against Baltimore and Colorado beat the LA Angels by

final of five to four. The competition's not over yet, but the Packers could be headed for their

third extra point and field goal kicker in three years. So far the Green Bay training camp kicking

battle is being won by challenger Greg Joseph. He kicked for the Vikings last season. Joseph

was seven for seven in the last practice before family night while the incumbent under his Carlson

was four for seven. Rookie James Turner was released earlier in the week. How the competitors do

Saturday in front of the family night crowd could be decisive. So far Jordan love has done all

right and they've turned the reins over to him calling the plays in the two minute offense. Here is

Matt Laflore. I just think it's good for him to be in an uncomfortable situation and get that

experience. So it's kind of a work in progress. But as far as he called the majority of the plays

yesterday in the two minute and we'll follow that again today. And while Kayla Williams,

CJ Stroud and other starters from both teams watch from the sideline. The NFL's new kick-offs

didn't provide any excitement. Brett Ripon stole the show before lightning and heavy rain into the

game. The veteran quarterback through three touchdown passes leading the Bears to a 2117 victory

over the Houston Texans on Thursday night in the Hall of Fame football game. I'm Philney with an

update on sports.
