The Milwaukee Brewers play the Minnesota Twins this weekend, after Willie Adamus went
off on a four-hit game last Sunday.
Minnesota's 27 and 18 at home, and 54 and 42 overall, they have a 22 and 6 record in
games when they did not allow a home run.
Milwaukee is just 26 and 25 on the road, but they are 55 and 42 overall.
Brewer hitters have a collective 33% for on base, the highest in the majors.
The team square off today for the third time this season.
Willie Adamus leads the Brewers with 15 home runs while slugging 430.
South Freilich is 11 for 36 with three doubles, a triple and three runs knocked in, over
the last 10 games.
The injury bug has bitten the Brewers again.
The team is losing promising reliever Abner Uribe following knee surgery.
Uribe made the announcement official on social media, while saying he's focusing on
2025.
He hasn't pitched since early May and he didn't pitch well then.
Uribe had an ERA of nearly seven while pitching in 14 games after a standout 2023 rookie season
where he shined.
Milwaukee now has four pitchers out for the next year with injuries.
Uribe, Robert Gasser, Wade Miley and Brandon Woodruff.
Although most teams resume play after the All-Star break last night, the Brewers, they
don't get going until they head to Minnesota tonight.

The Milwaukee Bucks are getting a lot of credit for pulling off a steal by signing guard
Gary Tren Jr. to a one year deal.
He had started the free agent signing period seeking $25 million per year.

The Pack 12's existing bowl game agreements will continue through the 2025 season despite
the league's breakup.

Hall of Fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor has been charged in Florida with failing to
update his address on the state's sex offender registry.
Court records show the former New York giant linebacker turned himself into the Broward
County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday and was released with no bail.
He entered a night guilty plea.
It's the second time he's been charged with the same offense.
He's completed guilty in New York in 2011 to misdemeanor sexual misconduct charges.
He was sentenced to six years probation in order to be a lifetime registrar as a sex offender.
Alicia Gray became the first player in WNBA history to win both the three point and
skills competition in the same year.
She captured both titles last night.
The Atlanta Dream Guard topped John Quill Jones 2221 in the three point shootout finals
after edging Sophie Cunningham in the skills portion of the competition by just over two
seconds.
Jones was looking to become the first ever post player to win the three point contest.
She also made the finals in 2021 before losing to four time champion Ellie Quigley.
Jones had a chance to win the contest, but her last shot, the two point money ball,
felt just short.
She scored 25 points in the opening round.
That was tops among the five competitors, Gray had 23 points.
Katelyn Clark and Angel Reese will once again step into the spotlight during all star weekend
with their matchup against the US Olympic team.
They'll get the team up for the first time on the WNBA all star team after rivals in
college.
Reese's LSU squad topped Clark's Iowa team for the national championship back in 2023.
