area today and I have a couple of finals to pass along. First of all from the Northburn section,

it was Wisconsin Dells defeating Casanovia by a score of 10 to 3 and then in the Western section,

Scholesberg Benton beat Blanchardville 9 to 7. Colin Ray and Jacob Junus combined to shut out

the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday night and that it's in the Brewer's 3 to nothing win.

Christian Yelich hit his ninth home run and joined Bryce Turing with three hits each. Ray

went the first seven innings giving up six hits and no runs or walks. Junus got the save.

It was announced before the game that Yelich and Capture William Contreras would be starters in

this month. Major league baseball all-star game and the Brewer's and Rockies wrap up their four

game series tonight with Tobias Meier scheduled to start from Milwaukee and the first pitch for

the contest will be at 7.10 and you can hear the broadcast of that game on WRC 107.7 and AM 14.50

with the pregame starting at around 6.35 elsewhere in the majors today there were some finals that we

have to pass along. First of all the national shut out the match one to nothing it was the Cardinals

over the Pirates 3 to 2 the Reds beat the Yankees 8 to 4 the Astros defeated the Blue Jays 5 to 3

the Guardians defeated the White Sox 8 to 4 it was the Red Sox over the Marlins by a score of 6 to 5

the twins beat the Tigers 12 to 3 and it was the Cubs defeating the Phillies 10 to 2 and the Padres

beat the Rangers by a score of 3 to 1. Other games that are currently going on in the bottom of

the summons that's the Athletics leading the Angels 4 to nothing and the Orioles are tied with

the Mariners to a piece in the bottom of the 7th inning and other games that are going to be

played this evening besides the Brewer and Rockies game include the Giants at the Braves the

Royals hosting the race and the Diamondbacks will be at the Dodgers. Showy Otoni has become the

first player elected to start at designated here in four straight all-star games he'll be joined by

Yankees outfielder Aaron Judges the only holdovers from last year in the lineups for the

July 16th game in Arlington, Texas. Philadelphia could have three of the four national league

infielders after fans vote voted shortstop trade turner and third baseman Alex Brahm to start

alongside first baseman Bryce Harper who has a leg injury. Major league baseball said this is

the first time each league had has had no more than one player repeat as an elected starter since

fan-ball team resumed in 1970. Multiple reports indicate that the Bucks are adding veteran

free agent forward Tareen Prince who played for the Los Angeles Lakers last season.

The six foot prince is a is or actually I should say the six foot six prince is 30 years old.

He averaged just under nine points and three rebounds a game last season. The signing reunites

prince with Bucks assistant coach Darvin Ham who was head coach for the Lakers last year.

Milwaukee will be the 16 prince has played for during nine seasons in the NBA.

The pollsters haven't learned their lesson after underrating Marquette in recent years.

The conference website Big East Buckets ranks the Golden Eagles fifth for the upcoming season.

The lack of respect is centered on the departure of Tyler Colick and also Iga Darrell

but head coach Shaka Smart is returning solid players like Topscorer Cam Jones, Ben Gold,

Stevie Mitchell and Chase Ross. No quarrels with Yukon being ranked number one but it is questionable

to place teams like Xavier and Providence ahead of Marquette. And new Packers running back Josh

Jacob says from what he has seen quarterback Jordan Love has the tools to become an NFL superstar.

Love showed that potential during an outstanding second half of his first season as a starter.

Jacob says a former NFL rushing champion and a two time pro bowl player. Sports illustrated

reports that he says he's dedicated to showing he can be a part of the passing game out of the

backfield. Jacob says Green Bay's offense is capable of doing something some special things.
