Craig Council's first game at American Family Field since the Chicago Cubs hired him away

Division III World Series starting Friday. The last time the Warhawks made it this far was
back in 2016. A pair of victories over UW lacrosse kept them alive. Head coach John Vordenlich
has led the team to two national titles in 2005 and 2014. UW-Y water has a record of 40 and
nine entering the tournament. The Packers roster is one of the most athletic in the NFL,

country. And Bill Walton, who starred for John Woodens UCLA Bruins before becoming a Hall of Fame
Center for his NBA career and one of the biggest stars of basketball broadcasting has died.
The league announced that Walton died today after a prolonged fight with cancer. He was 71.
Walton was the NBA's MVP in the 1977 through 78 season, a two-time champion, and a member of both
the NBA's 50th anniversary and 75th anniversary teams. That followed a college career in which he
was a two-time champion at UCLA and a three-time national player of the year.
