Well high school softball playoffs are underway in the state of Wisconsin.
A Thursday night regional, we saw the Farge over North Crawford 6-5, LaFarge will now
play Ithaca in the next round.
A Friday night regional, Verokue Youth Initiative defeated Darlington and 8 innings 2-1, Verokue
Youth Initiative moves on to play River Valley in round 2.
And one regular season game from last night, Monroe defeated Dodgeville 6-4.
It was Friday night high school baseball action under the lights featuring Richland Center
hosting Dodgeville.

The Richland Center Hornets lost four to nothing to Dodgeville in Southwest Wisconsin
conference play.
It was senior night and Paris night, Dodgeville jumped out of the gate with a run in the opening
inning on one base hit.
They took advantage of a hornet error and a walk and got a score.
They would add two runs in the fifth inning and one in the seventh, backing up the pitching
of Nathan Johnson who went the distance, striking out six to get the victory for the Dodgers
who improved to 10 and 11.
Richland Center falls to five and 11 with the loss at the plate on the night.
West Bosworth was one for three, Teague Perkins one for three, one for two for Ethan Hady
and Avery McGlin is one for three.
Also for the Hornets Lane Miller pitched into the sixth inning, Thomas Honer worked the
sixth and to the sixth and into the seventh as well for the Hornets.
The next action for Richland Center, they have a schedule game against that of the friendship
on Monday and they'll open turn of the play against Portage next Thursday in the WIAA
postseason.
The Dodgeville Dodgers and a coach Pat Riley looking for another game coming up on Tuesday
when they will host Mineral Point.
