WRCO sports. I'm Phil Ne. High school activities going on this afternoon, including a big
track made at Phenomore and baseball and softball games wrapping up the regular season for both
the WIA girls softball tournament is set to begin on Thursday night for some area schools.
Home talent baseball will get underway this weekend. Several games will be held in the
area, including Ridgeway at Muscaday during the Saturday afternoon time at the Muscaday
Marille Mushroom Festival. And Sunday at one, our guy will play at Arena. Well,
the Brewers couldn't hold a three run lead Sunday. And that caused them a chance at a
series sweep. They lost to the Cardinals by a score of four three. Here's manager Pat
Murphy. You know, there was a one run game, but you know, they left 13 on base. And, you
know, we walked too many guys. We didn't execute. I think offensively and pitching and
whatever. It just wasn't a great ball game for us. It's hard to beat a major league team
four times. Any of these 30 major league teams. It's hard to beat them.
The Brewers welcome the pirates today to American Family Field with Colin Rae scheduled
to start the evening game courtesy of WRC EFM 107.7 and AM 1450. You'll be able to hear
the game this evening. And the box of cut ties with three assistant coaches as headman
Doc Rivers sets up his new staff Milwaukee into the season with 11 assistants and rivers
will have a smaller staff. DJ Baker, Sydney Dobner and Josh Oppenheimer are no longer
with the team. Oppenheimer first signed on in 2012, left then return in 2020. He said
to have a strong relationship with Buck superstar, Yannis Antidacumpo.
