hold on to a three run leads Sunday and that cost him a chance at a series sweep. The
St. Louis Cardinals were able to salvage the final game of that series. Four to three
first baseman Paul Goldschmidt broke out of a one for 34 slump for the Cardinals with
a home run. Then he tied the score in the sixth with the single Milwaukee at Beaton
the Cards eight times in a row. Here is Bryce Wilson who pitched yesterday for Milwaukee.
They have a really good team over there. You know, this season and even last season they're
not playing the way that they're capable of playing. So I mean, just for us to even have
that winning streak against him is very impressive at its own right. But it's the single
of Cardinals. They're always going to be good.
That's Bryce Wilson manager Pat Murphy waited on the game in the series. You know, it was
a one run game, but you know, they left 13 on base and you know, we walked too many
guys. We didn't execute. I think offensively and pitching and whatever. It just wasn't
a great ball game for us. It's hard to beat it. Major League team four times any of these
30 Major League teams. It's hard to beat them.
The Brewers get set for more action coming up tonight against the Pittsburgh pirates who
lost to the Cubs yesterday five four Miami seven six over Philadelphia San Diego four,
the Dodgers, nothing San Francisco six five winners against Cincinnati and the Mets beat
Atlanta four three in the American League Minnesota five Toronto one Cleveland seven
nothing over the white socks Houston nine Detroit three the Yankees 10 Tampa Bay six Kansas
City four two over the angels Seattle beat Oakland eight four in Inter League play Boston
three Washington two Arizona nine two over Baltimore and Colorado was a three one winner
over Texas. The box former coach Mike Boonehlser has a new job. Coach Bud will lead the Phoenix
sons after signing a five year contract. He's still drawing pay from the bucks after his firing
by the front office a year ago. Coach Bud had a 391 and 271 record in regular season games in Milwaukee.
His bucks teams reach the NBA Eastern Conference finals twice in five seasons. He has one of the
best winning percentages by a coach in NBA history. Yesterday on the playoffs, Indiana beat New York
one twenty one eighty nine and Denver defeated Minnesota one fifteen one hundred seven in the NHL
playoffs. A win for Florida three two over Boston and Vancouver beat Edmonton four three with
sports. I'm Phil me.
