In the league, Plattville is now 5-3-7-8 following a tough win over Dodgeville on Wednesday
night that kept the Black Hawks within one of lead leading Prairie Dushin in the standings.
A tough loss to the Hillman dropped River Valley two games off the pace with a game against Prairie
Dushin coming up on Tuesday. The WIA playoffs will begin for a few teams as early as the end
of this next week. Kennedy Shay picked up the win for Plattville in the circle.
McCayla Schnearing came on to work the final two innings for Plattville.
Tessa Schluter went the distance for River Valley and suffered the loss.
The Black Hawks trailed on the night and fell behind by as many as six runs going into the
bottom of the seventh inning. That's when they mounted a big comeback and got within run

River Valley took advantage of an error on a couple of walks and Destiny Gilbertson,
who was two for three on the night with a walk, had a two RBI single after a Fielder's choice,
