Milwaukee Reliever, Abner Eury, was suspended for six games and started Freddie Peralta for
five for the roles in a brawl during a brewer's game against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Tampa Bay Upfielder Jose Ciri was suspended for three games, a penalty later cut to two,
and Milwaukee manager Pat Murphy for two.
The suspensions were issued by Michael Major League Baseball Senior Vice President for
on-field operations, all four also were fined.
Murphy started his suspension when associate manager Ricky Weeks led the team against the
Rays, and Ciri also began his penalty.
The brewers have the day off today, they will begin a three-game series against their division
rivals, the Chicago Cubs tomorrow in Chicago.
