Basketball, the host Chieftains broke open a close game in the first half and built
the lead to 11, 27, 16, and half time.
Good balance in the second half kept the Panthers come back efforts at Bay.
Andre Tainter had 15 points to lead the Chieftains and Caleb Tracy scored 14.
Rich offered all hit 3-3s for 9 points and Carson Kinyan totaled 8.
Michael Hernan had 6 in the first half when Riverdale pulled away for good, Bevan Dennis
scored 5 and Ethan Baumkamp won, the Chieftains made 5-3s and went 6-4-8 from the line.
Kikapoo was led by Rye Gurkey with 23, Malachai McCauley scored 10, Brecken Miller total
7, Adric Eggy, Warren Uey and Arlen Walter each had 2.
The Panthers made 4-3s and went 9-4-16 from the line.

Brewers are making some changes to parking.
A Monday news release says fans parked in the American family filled lots with prepaid
digital parking can enter the Major League Baseball ballpark app scan a QR code posted on
signs around the lot and enter their license plate and payment information.
The process is expected to ease backups that happened during peak entry times.
Brewers say they're the first professional sports organization in the US to implement
this technology to this scale.

The San Francisco Giants have acquired left handed pitcher Ethan Small from Milwaukee
for cash after the brewers designated him for assignment last week.
Small turns 27 on February 14th.
He has appeared in four Major League games, including two starts and owns an 871 ERA.
He recorded one save and gave up five runs over four innings in two appearances with
Milwaukee last season.
Small spent part of the 2023 season with the brewers triple a Nashville affiliate.
He was two and four with a 318 ERA and three saves at Nashville.
The Badger football program is facing some big time competition as it recruits a wide
receiver prospect from Indiana.
Eugene Hilton is a three star receiver and the son of former NFL receiver Ty Hilton.
Have visited the Madison campus last October.
It'd be a part of the recruiting class of 20 25.
Hilton is being pursued by several programs, including his home state Hoosiers of the big
10.

The Hartford Girls basketball team forced its way into a share of the North Shore Conference
lead by taking out homestead last week as software Bella Clega scored with three seconds left
to lift the Orioles to a 57-56 win.
Junior McKenna Christian had 25 points in 10 rebounds.
