right now has to be the odds on favorite for the american league rookie of the year he blasted one of tomahawk shot into the right field seats do he would give a two-nothing lead to try to jump out to a five-nothing lead in the fifth inning and then houston got a couple of home runs back to back uh... to make it five three but then colt keep took over getting a couple more donators to make it nine three the final but it came as a cop to the tigers as labor torres
who just came off the injured list, and was hit the ball pretty good for the Tigers, took a swing and a miss, and re-injured himself in the first inning.
Not sure what the extent of the injury is, but he came off of an oblique injury earlier in the year, like we said in the month of May when Detroit went on that free fall, and we'll see now if he's going to end up having to go back on the injured list.

Wait yesterday afternoon or early evening, it was announced that he's going to forgo his eligibility, that being Brandon Swarsby, and he's going to apply
to get in the supplemental draft in the NFL.
So what that means is you've got to get approved for it.
It's a process.
They haven't had one, I believe, in four years.
So what these teams do now is they will apply to go into the supplemental draft, which means, for example, let's say the Lions or the Packers want to put in, they'll say, yeah, we'll apply to take SourceB in the fourth round.
Well, if the draft goes to the fourth round and nobody else above them takes it,
Detroit would then, or Green Bay, whoever will say the package for this discussion.
Let's say they draft him in the fourth round.
They would then lose their fourth round pick in 2027.
But it's kind of weird how this is set up.
There's kind of a draft lottery, if you will, in a supplemental draft.
The first six picks will go into their own lottery.
The first six teams, the worst six, whatever.
Then I believe there's another division.
I can't remember if it's like the next 10 do their own lottery.
and in the bottom ten or whatever it is kind of convoluted but none the less brandon source beat looks to be that he wanted to apply for the supplemental draft so we'll see where he goes is he worth a high draft pick i don't know if he really is i think they'll probably he will get drafted somebody will take a flyer on him it was reported that if you would have went in the draft this year he probably would have got picked as the second or third quarterback in the draft

Well, over the weekend, actually, that athletic director, Jay Bet, was being recruited for a lack of a better word, or he was looking into it by the University of Kentucky to be their athletic director and their NIO Collective, or whatever you want to call it, the big blue club.
I don't know what it's called, but anyways, that came to fruition yesterday morning.
as there was a press conference yesterday it's crazy enough there was a press conference scheduled at michigan state at eleven o'clock in the morning yesterday to announce that they're going to now have their jerseys and helmets sponsored by michigan state university federal credit union well i got overshadowed by what's going on at michigan state of jpeg or it is what i like to call him now jpeg but at skip town he's going to kentucky to be their new athletic director signed a six-year contract
right now in east lansing michigan state has got themselves really uh... it really is a clown show down here now for those of you that don't know if there's such turmoil with the board of trustees they've got eight members on that board of trustees acting like eight presidents they've got their own agendas and they can't even get along with these with themselves
And I know someone that's very, very upset, and that's their head coach and the basketball team.

I equate the board of trustees to a good referee.
Be seen and not heard.
I know Michigan's not exactly, you know, their act isn't exactly on par with what it should be in Wayne State, but you don't hear them coming out, airing their dirty laundry in public.
And that's even more embarrassing.
Something's gotta give.
Gretchen Whitmer's got somebody, whoever the governor or she's got the power.
to potentially relieve these board of trustee members of their duties, something's gotta give.
Something's gotta be changed the way these board of trustee members are elected.
They need to be appointed.
We're one of four states in the country that does this, where it's elected by the voters.
I mean, let's be honest.
How many of you go to the polls and know who you're voting for as a board of trustee member?
All the years that I voted, I've only known one personally.
So I mean, I don't even vote for them.
So that tells you that the system is flawed.
But again, Michigan State now looking for a brand new athletic director, and also looking to get an interim president, too.
And this will be the eighth president in eight years.
