Construction on I 41 between Winnebago and fondle act counties began this week.
The resurfacing culvert improvement and bridge work project will take place from highway 26 in Oshkosh down to county highway D in fondle act.
Mark Cantola with the Wisconsin DOT says lane closures will not be as impactful as some we've seen over the summer, especially in northern Winnebago and out of gamey counties.
But there will be some nighttime lane restrictions and ramp closures. The project is expected to wrap up in October of 2025.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation receives $12.5 million in federal funding for safety improvements at two rest stops along I-43 between Green Bay and Manitawak.
The project will raise and rebuild the buildings, modernize the pavement to accommodate increased traffic, add 72 more truck parking stalls across both facilities, add universal charging stations, and make them both ADA compliant.
The rest areas are 51 near Marable and 52 near Denmark.

Green Bay real estate agent Mike Pritzel is in Florida helping the American Red Cross with disaster relief efforts.
You name it, we do it. It's whatever is being asked of us today. As an example, I spent most of my morning so far trying to help a resident of the shelter to get transportation to a doctor's employment.
And you would think that is simple and it's not.
This is Pritzel's first national deployment as a disaster relief volunteer. He said it will not be his last.
27 year old Chelsea O'Donnell, the daughter of former talk show host and comedian Rosie O'Donnell, faces several felony drug charges in two northeast Wisconsin counties.
In Marinette County, she's charged with maintaining a drug trafficking place, neglecting a child, possession of methamphetamine and several misdemeanors.
In O'Conto County, she's charged with possession of meth, possession of narcotics and felony bail jumping.
According to court records, Chelsea O'Donnell lives in Amberg in Marinette County.
In a social media post, Rosie O'Donnell said Chelsea has battled with drug addiction for a decade.

The family-friendly film The Wild Robot finished in second place with a take of just over $10 million in its fourth week of release.

The Michael Keaton-led sequel pulled in $5 million, which was good for fourth place, and gave the top five three spooky movies.
People can't seem to get enough as the release of Hocus Pocus pulled in almost a million bucks 20 years after its initial release.

After months of speculation, it's been confirmed that Successions Jeremy Strong has been cast in the Bruce Springsteen biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere.
Strong will play Springsteen's manager, John Lando, the Emmy-winning actor his fresh off his appearance in The Apprentice as Roy Cohn.
Deliver Me focuses on the time in Springsteen's career where he made his award-winning album, Nebraska.
The bear's Jeremy Ellen White has been cast as the boss.
The album, Nebraska, was a bit of a departure as Springsteen's fame as a pop star was starting to skyrocket.
The record is ranked 150 on Rolling Stones 500 Greatest Albums Ever List.
Esquire has called Nebraska one of the most honest and emotional albums in history.
Fun fact, Jeremy Strong revealed that it's also his favorite Springsteen album.

Gaga says according to variety that she will release the song Disease on October 25th.
It will be her first single of her seventh studio album.
Gaga surprised fans by releasing an album called Harlequin last month on the heels of the release of the Joker sequel, which was panned by critics.

Rick and Morty fans will rejoice when they hear that the show has been renewed for seasons 11 and 12, which is crazy because season 8 hasn't even dropped yet.
The word comes from New York Comic Con by the show's executive producers Dan Harmon and Scott Martyr.
Harmon was born and raised in Milwaukee. Season 8 doesn't actually premiere until 2025, which means the show will be on at least through 2029.
