That's when state Senator Mary Felskowski said giving money to the tribe to end a dispute
over road closures would be like giving into terrorists.
The tribe's president says Velskowski's comment damaged negotiations and harmed the tribe.
Another case of West Nile virus is confirmed in Wisconsin state health officials say a person
in rock county was infected, it's the seventh West Nile case confirmed in Wisconsin this year.
Fewer than 1% of people who can track West Nile virus develop serious symptoms, but health
officials urge people to be careful to reduce their exposure to mosquitoes.
This president Kamala Harris returns to Wisconsin.
We expect to learn more this week about a stop in Wisconsin on Friday.
Meanwhile her running mate Tim Walsh was in was on superior over the weekend.
We cannot have four more years of that nearly 80-year-old man yelling at people to get
off his yard screaming about cats and looking out for himself.
Republican running mate JD Vance campaigns in on Claire tomorrow.
At least 1,350 people in Wisconsin registered to vote after pop star Taylor Swift endorsed
vice president Kamala Harris last week, that's according to vote.org, Swift posted her
support for Harris on Instagram Tuesday night after the presidential debate.
There's talk of trimming the federal trade commission by 27%, but Aaron Whitty of the
consumer Federation of America says the FTC has good ideas like making it easier to cancel
online subscriptions.
It would make it as easy for someone to cancel a subscription as it is to sign up for it.
And that proposal has gotten thousands of comments from consumers about how much time they
are wasting.
A group called Opportunity Wisconsin is calling on Congress to pass clean funding bills
without extreme provisions that would hurt families.
Wisconsin will distribute about $30 million in federal money to increase internet access.
The American Rescue Plan money will own devices to more than 50,000 households and more than
30,000 homes will get free Wi-Fi.

The remains discovered in Manitouac last weekend were positively identified as those of missing
three-year-old Elijah Vu.
Two Rivers Police Chief Ben Minert said Friday that the investigation must now pivot.
What started out as a search for missing boy is now a death investigation.
Although we understand your desire for information, we can't share every detail, and we must maintain
the integrity of the investigation.
The toddlers' remains were found just three miles from the Two Rivers apartment from
where he went missing.
Green Bay's Austin Struggle Airport has announced that Delta Airlines is offering nonstop
flights for the season's Packer Games.
Packers fans can book a nonstop to Jacksonville for October 27th Jaguars game and a nonstop
to Seattle for the Seahawks game on December 15th.
Officials are recommending booking as soon as possible as the seats usually go fast.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is looking for public comment for an environmental
review of the Green Bay Safe Drinking Water Lone Program project, which includes replacing
lead service lines in the city.
The program determined the project won't result in significant adverse environmental
effects.
Comments can be submitted by September 27th to the DNR.
Wisconsin's Lieutenant Governor Sarah Rodriguez was in Appleton and Green Bay Saturday helping
Democrats launch their canvases.
Rodriguez underscored the contrast between the Harris-Waltz vision for a more hopeful
future versus the Trump Vance Project 2025 agenda.
People need to know what's on the line.
People need to decide what vision they want for Wisconsin and what vision they want for
the U.S.
Do we want to move forward or do we want to keep looking back?
There are 50 days remaining until the November 5th election.
Any elections as Brown County goes, so goes the states, as a mod Rivera Wagner, the Democratic
candidate for the 90th Assembly District.
In a purple state and a purple county and a purple district, you couldn't get any more.
If you don't win these areas, you can't win the state and you can't win the presidency.
While there has not been a visit to North East Wisconsin by Vice President Kamala Harris
or Tim Waltz, Rivera Wagner says he's proud of the work being done by Sarah gets such
as Jill Biden and Bernie Sanders.
Absentee ballots get sent out this week.
The United States Postal Service gets busier starting September 19th, as clerks start
to distribute ballots requested for the November 5th presidential election.
People can request the ballots online or check with their local clerk about early in-person
voting options.
To see a ballot, request one, or get a lot of election information, visit myvote.wi.gov.

career touch-top pass and Josh Jacobs ran for 151 yards.
The defense also got in on the act and accepting three passes by the Colts.
Head Coach Matt LaFlure was happy to get the win.

Milwaukee's run of extra-ending losses continued Sunday as the Brewers fell 11-10 in 10 innings
to the Diamondbacks.
Milwaukee took a lead in the top of the 10th but gave up three runs in the bottom half
with closer Devon Williams left in the bullpen.
It doesn't get any easier for the Brewers who will host the Phillies and Diamondbacks for
a seven-game homestam beginning tonight.
Milwaukee's lead in the NL Central is at 10 games.

The 40th annual video music awards are in the books after a festive night.
The event took place in UBS Arena in New York last Wednesday night.
Some of the big winners were Sabrina Carpenter for Best Song.
She also performed and made out with an alien.

M&M won for Best Hip Hop and Lenny Kravitz took home the prize for Best Rock video.
Chepp El-Rone won for Best New Artist despite showing up in an outfit that looks like it
was designed by me.
Ron and Carpenter also performed at the event as did LL Cool J.
Sticking with the video music awards, Chepp El-Rone got snippy on the red carpet telling
a photographer to shut the f*** up.
The singer later explained that she is not comfortable with cameras and has anxiety around
a lot of people.

Those around her most likely on the payroll showed their support.
In her defense, I yelled the same thing at the photographer who took my high school graduation
photo.
Taylor Swift had her own network special last Wednesday night, also known as the video
music awards.
The event took place at the UBS Arena in New York and Swift was a big winner.
It took the stage often for acceptance speeches while taking home lots of hardware.
For the third year in a row, the Megastar won Best Music Video for Fortnite on which she
collaborated with Post Malone.
The video also won Best Direction.
Swift's video for Anti Hero won in 2023 and her own version of All Too Well took home
the prize in 2022.
Swift also won Artist of the Year for the second year in a row.
She is the only artist to win the award in Back to Back Gears.
That's right, she is no longer an up-and-comer.
Swift's many acceptance speeches, she honored the victims of 9-11 and surprised everybody
by giving a shout-out to Travis Kelsey who she referred to as her boyfriend.
Swift also encouraged people to register to vote.
