Boys Hockey Coach Pat McDonald is retiring after 28 years as head coach of the Lincoln Red Raiders.
During his time as coach McDonald won six conference championships and appeared at state eight times. Throughout his career he secured 458 wins.
WRPS Superintendent Ron Rasmussen stated, quote, Pat McDonald is a true legend in Wisconsin High School Hockey and has made a lasting impact on Red Raider Athletics as a baseball and golf coach as well.
The Lincoln High School Athletic Department is grateful for Coach McDonald's dedication and countless hours helping student athletes flourish on and off the ice, or field, or court.
Workers are striking in Oshkosh. Here's Lisa Hale.
Braving the cold and imminent rain about 90 United auto workers, local 291 members in Oshkosh are on strike over an expired contract with Cummins, a global company specializing in designing and producing diesel fuel engines and generators.
Ryan Compton, the UAW local 291 president, said the workers contract with the company expired on January 29th and attempts to schedule negotiations have been less than fruitful.
We have filed an unfair labor practice against the company. Our agreement was up the 29th of January. We're at a disagreement about a couple proposals.
We're just, man, we want to get them to the table and take this seriously.
The company has offered April 22nd as its next date for contract negotiations or a virtual meeting on April 1st.
An open house is planned for residents in the town of Rome. It will be at Up North Brewing Company on Thursday, April 10th from 5 to 7 pm. You can attend to give your feedback on the creation of a vibrant town center.
The town of Saratoga posted that they are aware of people knocking on doors in the area encouraging voting. These people are not associated with the town of Saratoga.
They're encouraging absentee voting for particular candidates and giving incorrect dates and hours of absentee voting. You can find out correct hours for absentee voting and correct dates at myvote.wi.gov.
The spring election for in-person voting is Tuesday, April 1st. Poles are open from 7 am to 8 pm. If you're in line by 8 pm, you will be able to vote.
After nicotine and alcohol, cannabis is the third most common substance used in the U.S. and in effect safety on the roads. Joanne Krulotz has more.
With the rise in cannabis use, this form of impaired driving has become more common leading to a heightened risk of crashes, injuries, and fatalities.
The AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety conducted two separate but complementary studies to analyze cannabis consumers' thoughts, perceptions and reasons for driving under the influence, one study used surveys to gain a deeper understanding of cannabis consumers' behavior and perceptions of themselves.
44.1% said they consume cannabis multiple times per day, 57.8% indicated that they drive daily, 84.8% revealed that they drive the same day that they consume cannabis with 53% saying they consumed an hour or less before driving.
They also believe consumption has little effect on driving with 46.9% believing they either drive the same or a little better.
38.6% also said they would trust messaging about cannabis use and safe driving from cannabis industry groups and cannabis brands and companies.

Led scoring with 19 points, Steven Krul with 18 and asked how he was more aggressive in the second half under the basket.
Credit to my coaches, my teammates were being on me about staying aggressive.
Like you said, the second half finally got a little bit inside and obviously we knew we had the size of anus.
So the Badgers move on. They play Brigham Young tomorrow night at 625 in Cleveland.

Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast recently and had a few things to say about the pay discrepancy between men and women and Hollywood.
The actress who played the title character on the long-running drama said when the show started, Patrick Dempsey made a lot more money than she did despite him having 13 failed TV pilots.
Pompeo said that she understood why he got the money he got, but that she should have been compensated similarly as the show was named after her character and she worked tirelessly to promote it.
Despite the recent death of her husband of almost 60 years, Dolly Parton says she is at peace with his death.
The 79-year-old country music icon made a surprise appearance at Dollywood, her first public sighting since husband Carl Thomas Dean's death.
Parton says she still misses Dean and loves him dearly, but she's doing better than she thought she would be.
Is it just me or would you want your spouse to say the exact opposite after you're passing?
Looking more and more like we should all avoid heading to the theaters to see The Altonites, where Robert De Niro plays Gangster's Frank Castello and Vito Genevese.
That's right, he plays both roles.
Despite what producer thought was a solid script and Barry Levinson directing the crime thriller is drawing only 38% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Not sure if De Niro playing two roles has anything to do with it, but how hard could it have been to find another actor and not rely on a gimmick?
Actress Jenny Slate initially supported her co-star Blake Lively and her sexual harassment complaints against Justin Baldone.
The three actors were all in the film, it ends with us, where the controversy started.
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Slate, the star of Bob's Burgers and FX's new series, Dying for Sex,
says she only wanted to talk about her new show and will no longer discuss anything involving Baldone, Lively, or it ends with us.
All this drama will no doubt be a mini-series one day.
After well over a year of hype surrounding the show's severance, I finally had to check it out.
Forty minutes into episode one of season one, I had more questions than answers, but the pilot closed strong.
Despite being a slow star of the sci-fi mystery about a group of office workers who discover that their work memories and personal life memories have been surgically separated,
is a critics darling pulling a 96% on Rotten Tomatoes.
I will have more information as I continue the binge.
The premiere date for season two of The Last of Us is right around the corner.
Recently, it was revealed that series co-lead, Bella Ramsey, was diagnosed with autism.
Making the story even more interesting was that it was a crew member on the set whose daughter has autism,
who suggested Ramsey get tested while season one was still being shot.
Ramsey says they believe this will help them as an actor, as they have always been someone who watches and studies people.
Season two of The Last of Us drops April 13th on Max.
