With a WELY fire update, I'm Corey Hartman.

Fire updates brought to you by Wildlife Forever and Clean Drain Dry.

Cooler weather today, mostly cloudy skies, highs in the mid to upper 60s that will keep humidity values a little higher today.

However, north, northwesterly winds will be strong today, gradually slowing down throughout the afternoon and maybe a slight chance of light rain.

However, smoldering and creeping has occurred over the last few days.

That may transition to the surface and things will have to be dealt with at that time.

The boundary waters remains closed until at least July 24th with all burn bands and permits pulled and those kinds of things and that will continue again through the end of the week, but that will likely be extended.

A reminder that the Ealy Blueberry Festival set for this weekend was canceled by the Ealy Chamber of Commerce.
