10-year holiday road in the Fremont area of Opaque County.

Attorneys representing Green Bay Park

is running back, Josh Jacobs have released a new statement addressing recent allegations from three women against Jacobs.

Jacobs pleaded no contest September 10th to misdemeanor counts of battery and criminal damage to property.

Jacobs was arrested May 26 three days after an incident in which a woman said he threw her to the ground.

According to records that were released Friday night, one woman contacted police after Jacob's arrest to say she had experienced a similar incident with him around 2023.

She later would say the incident actually occurred on January 5th of 2022.

Another woman told police she had sex with Jacobs in April of 2021.

The woman said Jacobs later removed her from the residence, grabbed her by the arms and biceps area, pushed her against the wall and threw her belongings out.

She told police she had sustained bruises to her arms and swelling in her rib area.

Another woman said she met Jacobs through social media and that he flew her to a residence in May of 2022.

She described an altercation in which Jacobs grabbed her by the hair, placed his hands on her head and neck, dragged her, scratched her chest, and then took her phone after it fell to the floor.

The records released on Friday also offered more details of the May 23 incident that led to Jacobs' arrest.

According to the criminal complaint released in August, the woman told them that Jacobs grabbed her and threw her to the ground as she was trying to exit a garage door, causing her to hit her head.

Police said Jacobs also took her phone from her while she was on the ground.

Jacobs has played two games to the Packers since being removed from the commissioner's exempt list, which had prevented him from playing or practicing with the team.

The NFL placed him on that list in August after charges were filed against him, and that caused Jacobs to miss the Packers' first six games of the season.

NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said the league would review the new allegations as part of its investigation, which has remained open.

A 36-year-old Manasher man died after his

motorcycle rear ended a car on Interstate 41 Northbound late Thursday morning in Dodge County.

Sheriff's officials say it happened north of State Highway 28 in the town of Thoresa.

When the bike struck the back of the car, Joseph Spang lost control of it and was ejected.

He was not wearing a helmet.

A flight for life helicopter flew Spang to an area hospital where he later died.

61-year-old Brian in Featherston, a fondaloc who was driving the car, he struck, was not injured.

There were several witnesses to the accident.

No one was injured and no property was damaged late Thursday night during a 34-mile

pursuit of a 38-year-old Milwaukee man across Fond du Lac County.

The man was driving north in the southbound lanes of US Highway 151 near Fond du Lac County Highway TC in the town of Lambertine when a state trooper and sheriff's deputies responded to try and locate the vehicle.

That led to a pursuit which reached 110 miles an hour when the driver turned onto Interstate 41.

Several attempts were made to put down tire deflation devices but they failed.

Eventually the driver

vehicle became disabled and the man fled on foot, leaving three passengers behind.

Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Officials say through their investigation, they were able to identify the driver as a Milwaukee man, wanted on felony warrants, but they couldn't locate him.

The passengers were questioned and released.

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the State Patrol, Dodge County Sheriff's Office, Washington County Sheriff's Office, and West Bend Police.

A Fond du Lac County judge on Friday sentenced the 27-year-old Milwaukee man to prison on a first-degree reclosamicide charge.

Judge Tricia Walker sentenced Ghiandre Fowler to 15 years in prison and 15 years of extended supervision.

District Attorney Eric Tony says Fowler was a Milwaukee source of fentanyl that killed a Fond du Lac woman.

Fowler faced a maximum possible sentence of 46 years of initial confinement and 20 years of extended supervision.

Fond du Lac police investigated the case with assistance from the Lake Winnebago area drug unit.

A Fond du Lac County jury convicted Fowler of the reckless homicide charge following a six day trial in June.

The Ripon Common Council recently went over a financial management plan for its five year capital improvement plans.

Bob Nelson has a story for Civic Media News.

City Administrator Adam Sontag says they have over $60 million in projects and equipment on the Capital Improvement Plan, but they won't likely get to all of them because the list is essentially made up of wants and needs.

I don't think we'll necessarily get to that point, but we wanted to in the Financial Management Plan kind of show that these are the things that are out there.

He notes for years the city put off projects but was still at 40% of its debt capacity for borrowing.

When we got it to a point where we're using only like 49, up to 49% of our debt capacity, which you know is

perfectly acceptable from a standard, right, in terms of municipal practice.

He says the biggest project on the Capital Improvements Plan list is a $15 million upgrade of the Aging Wastewater Treatment Facility.

Did you remember to turn your clock back over the weekend?

The simple clock shift not only means fewer hours of daylight, it also means an added danger on the roads.

In fact, the week after daylight savings time is the most dangerous time of year for car deer collisions, according to the Department of Transportation.

That's because the time change pushes your evening commute into darkness, right at the time when white-tailed deer are most active, the middle of their breeding season.

Data from 2022 shows the number of car deer crashes nearly tripled during the month of November compared to

to the rest of the year.

Wildlife experts say slowing down this time of year, especially after dark, is really the only effective way to avoid a deer crash.

They won't jump out of the way if you lay on the horn.

Drivers need to be extra vigilant about watching for deer along the roadside.

And remember, if you see one deer, expect a few more.

New allegations are surfacing involving Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs.

Police records released Friday detail allegations from three additional women involving incidents dating back to 2021 and 22.

Jacob's attorneys strongly deny the accusations, calling them old, uncorroborated, and easily disproven by substantial evidence.

Jacob's previously pleaded no contest to misdemeanor battery and criminal damage charges stemming from a May incident involving his former girlfriend.

A senior administrator from the University of Alabama system will be the next leader of the universities of Wisconsin, replacing Jay Rothman after his firing in April.

Regents voted unanimously today to select Tanya Johnson for the job.

The 57-year-old will become the system's 10th president and its first person of color in that role.

Johnson says her goal is to make the universities stronger, more connected, and more important to Wisconsin's future.

Johnson's expected to take office

around January 1st.

Multiple people are dead following a shooting in Appleton over the weekend.

Police say officers responded to a suspicious complaint Friday night and found several shooting victims.

One person was hospitalized while authorities have not disclosed the exact number of fatalities.

The identities of those killed are being withheld pending notification of their families.

Investigators have not released details about the circumstances of the shooting, but say there's no ongoing threat to the public.

There were four deadly shootings in one week in Madison last week.

Madison police say two of those shootings happened on the same night.

The first happened around 8.15 Friday night.

Police say they found a 21-year-old man in a car with gunshot wounds.

He later died at a local hospital.

Just hours later, police say someone fired shots into a crowd outside a bar on Regent Street, killing a 32-year-old man.

This comes after two previous fatal shootings earlier in the week.

Police Chief John Patterson said it's been a very traumatic week for the community and pleaded with the public to stop using guns to resolve disputes.

Last year, there were five homicides in Madison throughout the whole year.

That number has already nearly doubled this year, with two months still left until year's end.

Animal rights activists are seeking to recall Dane County District Attorney Ismail Ozan over his handling of alleged animal abuse at Ridgeland Farms.

Organizers accuse Ozan of failing to prosecute the facility over its treatment of beagles.

A special prosecutor identified one violation, including cherry-eye surgeries without general anesthesia, but reached a settlement instead of filing charges.

Activists aim to gather 100,000 signatures by Christmas Day ahead of a December 28th petition deadline.

A recall election could take place next spring if the petition qualifies.

And that's your state news update.
