FEMA opened a new recovery center for residents and business owners who were impacted by the July tornado.
The center is open until further notice, but applications close December 7th.
You can apply on FEMA's website.
Alongside FEMA, the U.S.
Small Business Administration is also providing support.
Winnebago County Emergency Management Director Eric Rasmussen said the county is continuing to work to return to normalcy.
A resource center where residents and business owners can go to seek answers and help is one more tool.
FEMA officials added it's important to keep track of every expense
through receipts and invoices.
Submitting those alongside your request lets FEMA know how much aid is needed for each applicant.
Congressman Glenn growthman is seeking a seventh term representing Wisconsin's sixth congressional district.
Bob Nelson has the story for Civic Media News.
The Republican lawmaker from Glenn Bula doesn't support term limits.
He says you benefit from the experience you gain during multiple terms in office.
Every year you learn more about this job.
So if the people want to remove me, they can remove me.
But I feel that I'm more effective now than I was two years ago.
Prior to Congress, he was in the state legislature.
He currently serves on four congressional committees.
He says the country still has problems with illegal immigrants.
We do not want to change America.
And you cannot have, let's say, 15 million people here or...
18 million people here illegally without fundamentally changing our culture.
He says he's not a fan of the president's terrace, but they are having an impact, especially on China.
Grossman says if there is some resolution in the war with Iran, gas prices will go down and there will be an impact on inflation.
Grossman is being opposed by Democrat Brad Smith in next month's election.

In recent months, the State Department of Education
Agriculture Trade and Consumer Protection has reported several scams that are targeting specific groups and people.
One such example is a Wisconsin farmer who fell for an online post in late August.
Michelle Reinen is the administrator for the State's Division of Trade and Consumer Protection.
She said the farmer needed a bulldozer and was treated out of $17,000 for the fake equipment.
She warned scammers will use real-looking images, include real product specifications and details,
and send purchase agreements and invoices that seem legitimate.
The scammer also asked the farmer for payment in an irreversible method, in this case a wire transfer.
The equipment never really existed and was never delivered.
By the time the farmer realized they had been scammed, it was too late to recover their money.
Rynan recommends doing your research before you buy, never send money to anyone that demands payment, and see the product being sold in person whenever possible.

And today is the day Wisconsinites can get out and vote if you want to cast your ballot early.
Dozens of voting locations are set up all across the state.
Unlike Election Day, you don't have to go to a specific polling location to vote, depending on where you live.
You do have to live in Wisconsin, though, and bring an idea along to prove it.
Days, hours, and times of early voting vary by city, so be sure to check ahead for the details where you live.
You can find a list on many city clerks' websites, or check the website MyVote.

The gun deer hunting season is right around the corner, and Wisconsin's deer population is on the move.
As civic media's Maddie Schaefer tells us, that means drivers need to be on the lookout now more than ever.
Drivers across Wisconsin are being reminded to watch for deer as the fall mating season gets underway.
The Wisconsin State Patrol says deer are on the move this time of year, increasing the risk of crashes, especially around dawn and dusk.
Last year, Wisconsin recorded more than 17,000 deer-related crashes, resulting in six deaths and more than 700 injuries.
About 42% of those crashes happened between October and December, with November seeing the highest number.
State Patrol Superintendent Tim Carnahan says drivers should keep an eye on the road ahead, especially as the days get shorter and deer become harder to spot.
Drivers are reminded to slow down when approaching deer near the road and watch for others that may follow.
If a collision is unavoidable, the State Patrol says to brake firmly and stay in your lane rather than swerving, which could lead to a more serious crash.
And if you do hit a deer, you should pull over safely and call 911 if someone is injured or the deer is blocking the road.
For Civic Media News, I'm Maddie Schaefer.
The state patrol is also reminding drivers to never approach or try to move an injured deer.
And that's your state news update.
I'm Connie Feldman for Civic Media News.
