Well sometimes when you're out driving around have you ever seen drivers that you wish you could stop and just shake them?
Well last Tuesday I was driving back from Oshkosh in between Fisk and Pickett a car crossed the center line and just about took me out literally came over the line and if I wasn't paying attention that car would have sitting in the front left
fender of my car on the driver's side and who knows how I would have turned up.
People that drive and text or don't pay any attention.
The cars behind me saw it too.
I just shook my head.
What the heck is going on?
People don't pay attention when they drive.
So you got to be very attentive wherever you go.
I tell you that's about the fourth time this happened to me.
I don't know if people are trying to tell me something you want to take me out or what but that sure scared the hell out of me I tell you.
God, I told my old cork all about it but I'm still here yet.

And I remember that on a 78 recording.
So many bands have since recorded it.
That's a nice version, don't you agree, by Mark and the rest of the band?
Well, the two-week family dentistry, located in Fond du Lac at 211 South National Avenue, I was so happy.
The family has expanded.
Dr. Tim's grandson, Dr. Christian McAlloway,
has joined the family business, and he's doing a terrific job.
If your kids or grandkids need to see a young dentist, he's a great guy to take care of your teeth.
He even worked on my choppers too, Dr. Christian.
He has a wonderful, I should say, chair side banner.
Most doctors have bedside manners.
Well, Christian has chair side manners.
He works good with no matter how old you are.
Old senior citizens like myself,
or even those kids that go to the dentist for the first time.
Dr. Tim is very proud of his entire family, his daughter, Dr. Catherine, all their kids, and you know it, and he has other children too.
Dr. Grady is Tim's nephew, so the family business has expanded.
They got Dr. Tim, Dr. Christian, Dr. Catherine, and Dr. Grady all at 211 South National Avenue.
No matter what the difficulty you're having with your teeth, let them fix it for you.
Either fixing a cavity, fixing a root canal, well no matter what it is, you all might experience different things throughout the year.
Knock on wood, I haven't seen the two egg family in a while.
Maybe that I said something, I'll bite into a caramel and lose the filling.
Has that ever happened to you too?

We got a lot more music coming our way, but before we jump into that, I want to tell you about the good folks at Quality Plumbing.
If your plumbing ain't working, worth a dog gone darn.
You don't want to have a lot of guests come over.
The toilet don't work, you don't have any running water to wash dishes or clean up the house a little bit.
It really makes a really big headache.
I always call Quality Plumbing when I notice the first onset of any problems with
water, including the water pressure pump, water softener, could be anything.
Years ago we had a sand filter installed right out of the well and that way before the water gets to the water softener, the sand is all taken out and that's been working really well.
You'll notice you got more suds in your soap.
because the sand is out of it.
Get a hold of quality plumbing and check that out if you're not happy with the quality of your water.
Quality plumbing.
Kelly, Kent and Brandon, great guys.
They'll come out and rescue your water's problem.
748-4142.
Anytime issues, water softener, water pressure, water heater, whatever you got, they can fix it.
H2O is your middle name.
Kent Huespo, 748.
41-42 for city and rural alike.
Brew heating and cooling are with us today too.
Have you had any really hot sweaty days this past season?
I've had a couple.
My little studio where I do the show has air conditioner that comes out of the central air.
So on days when I'm here all cooped up by myself trying to keep everything down to a minimum so Corgi can nap during the day.
The air conditioner kind of keeps me a little bit more comfortable than if I couldn't otherwise have it.
Air conditioner is a blessing and if you have one you know exactly what I'm talking about.
However, when your air conditioning goes out
It's a bigger pain in the butt than anything you can describe.
Let Brewer Heating and Air Conditioning keep your systems running smoothly.
Located on North Douglas Street, it's Brewer Heating and Cooling.
Just that, they do a great job keeping you comfortable as much as possible.
And their phone number here is 748-6494, Brewer Heating and Cooling.
There you go, give Doug Sally, Johnny and Abby a call.
And maybe even Big Mike, 748, 6494.
It's Brewer, Heating and Cooling.
Hey, let's get back into a song all the way from Canada with Johnny Gorda.
And they're going to do a song entitled Ring of Fire.
And once the sparks go flying Those devil lips that know so well the art of flying And though I see the dangers till the flame goes higher I know I must surrender to your kiss of fire Just like the torch that set the soul within me burning I must go on, I'm on this road of no returning And though it burns me and it burns me into ashes
without your kiss of fire.
I
can't resist to what good is that we're trying.
What good is there denying?
You're all that I desire.
Since I first kissed you, my heart was yours completely.
If I'm a slave, then it's a slave I wanna be.
I wanna be
Johnny grown the band all the way from across the northern border.
They're up in Canada I hope he's not starting any more fires up there that smoke really took a hit on me I tell you hey, let's get back into some more music But before we do that, I want to tell you all about mr. And mrs. Peace eatery on Ripon's West Side They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays But you can be rest assured when you show up Wednesday through Sundays, you're gonna get a terrific meal
Bring the whole family because everything is affordable on the menu.
Delicious food from seven in the morning till two in the afternoon.
Like I said before, I cleaned up all my pastry and I finished two cups of coffee this morning.
Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Pease.
The coffee I made, but Kathy made all the pastry so good.
Pick some of that up.
Check out what's waiting for you in the pastry display case when you walk in the front door.
or if you go through drive-thru you can always ask for some of that there too.
Give them a call, order something drive-thru, come on in and always remember if you bring a group of eight or more it's always wise to call ahead and let them plan a table or tables for your group.
Sometimes during holidays we get as many as 22 or 23 of us all there.
We take up a little space I tell you but we always make it easy for everybody.
The waitresses know that
We're very easy customers to work with.
It's Mr. and Mrs. P's eatery.
1100 West Phan Lake Street.
There is nothing more I can say other than I love those guys and they do a great job and I know you're gonna love them too.
920-896-0696 and all of their ingredients including the eggs come from local farmers.
All the ingredients that they use.
Yep, all locally.
You can't beat it.
Even the coffee!
They believe in supporting all of our local merchants and farmers.
We got something by the kids from the Czech Republic coming up.
I believe it's a pretty
waltz.
Shazahalenu, zikanko czerna, tyhada
Sovesi shumiti porozumis.
vihadi, smagrune ruky.
Davyati zoto, upřimne djiki.
Got you to know how does that show up.
Hey, girls, they don't like me there.
Might he be in the band in the song for Joe Pleszinski, one in title?
The girls all love me.
Oh, the girls all like me.
Now they like him too.
I think they like his food a lot better though.
That could be, I don't know, I'm not one to pick.
Graphics sign a letter company here with us, the Kelm family, and they've been with us for a long, long time.
And perhaps if you've been in business, they've been with you and your business success as well.
Quality signs that give all the important information.
Like your location, your phone number, what you do, what products you handle.
And you know, if you don't give information out, the strangers in business, potential customers will never know who you are.
So you got to tell them.
Let Graphic sign a letter company here in Ripon and Ripon's northeast edge on East Oshkar Street.
Make up a sign for you that will not only withstand all the changes in weather,
But it'll last you a long time too and they are affordable.
You can't beat that.
Affordable and durable.
All the bulls.
Graphic sign or letter company.
And that's no bull.
748-7723.
The Kelm family.
Like I always say, you gotta love that Kelm family.
Doug and Kathy are their parents and their son Danny really makes them proud.
And he'll make you proud too.
By helping you expand your business's success.
Either for driving.
customers, walking customers, or if you want to go to have a business that you want to call, have them call you like a contractor, a woodcutter, a splitter, anybody, a paver, or a cement contractor.
Did you know K Creek got all their signs all over the place from Graphic Sign and Letter Company?
I asked my buddy Dylan, I said, how'd that go?
He said, they're wonderful to work with.
It's Graphics, Sign, and Letter Company.
Hey, let's jump into another song.
All the way from Garner, Iowa, it's the Molux Fisherman.
Alex Fisherman all the way from Iowa.
Several, many years ago, I had an opportunity to talk with Todd Goeing, who has since passed away, and our conversation centered around funerals.
I asked Todd, I said, how do you prepare a funeral, you know, taking care of an individual that you've known for years?
You have to prepare the body for, you know, the funeral.
He says, it's a very difficult thing for me to do, but I do it because somebody has to do it.
And when families, and trust me with the care of their loved ones, I do the best I can, even though the circumstances might be a little difficult.
And that's the kind of individuals you'll find at Butzin Martian Fuellingham.
They definitely care about the loss in your life.
That individual who has passed away probably meant the world to you.
So they give the best of care, preparing the individual for the funeral, you know, the gravesite, internment, et cetera.
You want the best.
Consider Butzin Marchion Funeral home on top of the hill.
They're not afraid to talk about it because that's their business.
Consider getting pre-funal arrangements.
Talk to Christopher, talk to Marissa and Rolanda, all the good folks up on top of the hill.
East Oskar Street and May Party Drive.
Butzin March and Funeral.
They are really nice people and I think you're going to feel better once you talk to them yourself.
Pre-Funal Arrangements.
Phone number 748-2623.
Butzin, 748-2623.
Wonderful people.
Oh, let's see.
How many more people I got to do yet?
Oh yeah, pedals and plows.
They're with us today.
Are you doing some landscaping?
Looking for some trees, shrubs and bushes?
They got a great discount going on all their plants plus they're open every day of the week at pedals and plows.
Monday through Saturdays 10 to 6 and Sundays 7 rather noon till 5.
Pedals and plows at 9129 Kaufman Road.
They have all the vegetables coming out of the garden from beets, zucchini, collardobby.
They even have watermelons, muskmelons and tons and tons of freshly picked sweet corn.
Delicious stuff.
while waiting you and your family on Kaufman Road.
Go north of Rush Lake on County Road E. When you get on that little bend north of Rush Lake a few miles, you'll see a road with a sign at the bend at the bottom of the hill.
It says, go west.
The sign says, pedals and plows.
Go down about a half a mile and you're there.
They have a large playground for the kids to enjoy while you get all the vegetables and plants.
Bring a trailer, pick up all your trees, shrubs and bushes, Monday through Saturdays, 10 to 6.
and Sunday afternoons from noon to five.
Give them a call if you have any questions.
They would be glad to help you out.
920-290-1621.
That's 290-1621 if you have any questions.
Brian Brighan in the Mississippi Valley Dutchman.
Gorky says I should play this one for myself because I got a big one.

Thanks for the lovely call the other day too.
We got one by Dick and the Bam.
In fact, a couple days ago, Danny, Junior, Michelle, Bo and myself had lunch in Oshkosh with Steve Rogers and his lovely by Cheryl.
and had a nice meal and Steve would like to get some of that old Dick Rogers music together and get a reunion band going with some of the guys that are still alive yet and kick it.
I wonder how many people would actually go to that dance if Steve could get the library and so many of those old musicians together.
Would be one hell of a party.
Here we go by the Brook Walls for the Zimmerman's and Van Buren's.
you
Oh, good one there.
A little bit of dick in the rest of the guys from back in the 60s.
We got Tony Wolf and the Deutsche Meisters from Minnesota.
All the way from Minnesota, Tony Wolf and his family band, a song that they called the Ginger Snap Polka.
I remember around Christmas, my mother used to make ginger snap cookies.
They were always good with a glass of milk before I went to bed.
Even in college, my mom really made some delicious cookies, chocolate chip, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin.
My mother was an excellent, excellent cook.
Really wonderful.
I miss my mother sometimes.
Hey, guess what?
Hi, Landon.
How are you doing over there at Grandpa and Grandma's?
Hi, I'm Landon from Princeton, and I love the Tupacian polka show.
Oh, really?
Why?
Well, I guess because we play some pretty good tunes here, I guess.
That's a good reason.
We got Tom Hayes and the Hayes Boys band from Stratford.
Danny Jr.
sat in on this recording.
In fact, he even wrote the music for the guys in the band.
I think it's a pox chop.
And if you're gonna go and sit outside on the back porch at sundown, make sure you put some mosquito repellent on.
I love her in the morning and love her
at
night I love her in the evening when stars are shining bright I love her in springtime and I love her in the fall But last night on the back porch I loved her best of all
I love her in the morning and I love her at night.
I love her in the evening when stars are shining bright.
I love her in springtime and I love her in fall.
Good last night on the bank I love to best of all.
Nice job boys, all the way from Stratford just north of Marshfield.
Beck's Meat Marketer with us.
Are you planning a big gathering today or tomorrow or even some late afternoon this next week?
Well you want to get the best when it comes to pork, beef or poultry if you're cooking out or preparing something in the stove or on top of the stove in fact.
Sometimes people just use Nesco Roasters, the smaller ones.
What do they call crack pots?
That's the word I'm thinking about.
You can make a nice meal on those things too.
Add all the vegetables and the meat etc.
Let it slow cook.
Next meat market, they got the best.
Always freshest because you're getting it right from the main source.
1003 North Main Street in downtown Oshkosh.
They are open today from 8 until noon.
As well as the main plant on Clairville Road just south.
of Highway 44 on Clareville Road, you come to Ring.
Get on over there.
They're open eight to five Monday through Friday and eight till noon on Saturdays.
Pick up a five-pound box of preformed hamburger patties.
Put them right on the grill.
Delicious.
Either one-third patties or the quarter-pound patties.
Either way, you get the best.
You got the home-smoked bacon, becks brats, natural casing wieners, ribs, steaks, roast chops, you got it, and ground chuck.
So many more items that I can mention.
Plus beef jerky for snacks and snack sticks too.
When you want the best, get the best from Bex.
Located just south of Highway 44 in Clairville Road.
Dune today and also 1003 North Main Street in downtown Oshkosh.
Mmm, good eating.
Talk about good eating.
Pastimes, pub and grill are what this is morning too.
And after four o'clock today they got barbecued smoked ribs.
there with either the natural casing barbecue sauce or the little bit more zippier bourbon style.
Particularly favorite of mine is the regular barbecue style.
For myself I have to wear a hair net because otherwise when I eat that barbecue I get it in my hair because I'm all over the place with that barbecue rib.
It is so good.
You rub your tummy you get the barbecue sauce on your shirt
It comes with some sides too.
After four o'clock today it's past time's pub and grill.
They have a fantastic Friday seafood menu as well.
They are open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and Sundays from 11 to 9 serving food closed on Tuesdays.
Fridays and Saturdays, they serve food from 11 am until 10 at night.
Bring the whole group over and make wonderful memories at pastimes.
At 120 Watson Street, 120 Scott Street, I should say, 120 Scott Street, right across the street from the Rip and Post Office.
Lots of parking.
Come on in.
It is handicap accessible, so your good times are waiting for you at pastimes.
Their patio is also open.
They got those little sun umbrellas outside, so if it's hot out,
you're still in the shade.
748-8222, call that number after the show and place your order for pickup or dine in for barbecued ribs after four.
Now here's the thing, if you come at four o'clock you get french fries or potato salad with your ribs, but if you can hold off until five o'clock you can order a fully loaded baked potato that comes with your ribs.
No extra charge!
748-8222
82-22, it's past times.
Give my best to Adam and the whole crew.
They're good people over there.
You're gonna love meeting them.
We got Jerry Schneider in N-Band with a weather forecast song.
That sun's gonna shine.
So let the sun shine in Shake hands with your neighbor And happiness will never leave your heart
So let the sun shine it Shake hands with your neighbor And happiness will never leave your heart At a dance in your home or at a tavern That familiar sound we all enjoy to hear Couples dancing round the floor Others asking for some more And their spirits getting higher with some beer So let the sun shine it
Shake hands with your neighbor and happiness will never leave your heart.
So let the sun shine in.
Shake hands with your neighbor and happiness will never leave your heart.
From Chicago to New York and here in Chilton.
People wishing all their friends a nice cold beer.
Happy feelings in the air.
Forget your troubles and your cares.
Join the rain.
People dancing everywhere So let the sun shine in Shake hands with your neighbor And happiness will never leave your heart So let the sun shine in Shake hands with your neighbor And happiness will never leave your heart Twirling skirts, pretty girls and smiling faces It's the happiness we have in Pocahontas
Mom and Dad, sisters, do yasha, stash and merry-loon Dancing all night to the music of our band So let the sun shine in Shake hands with your neighbor And happiness will never leave your heart So let the sun shine in Shake hands with your neighbor And happiness will never leave your heart

I still recall the twinkle in your lovely eyes And then there were your kisses oh so tender Remember so many times Go away your laughter echoed on each summer breeze
Kenny Brant in the band from Southern Wisconsin and won a title so many times.
Like I say, Kenny Brant in the band from Southern Wisconsin.
Several weeks ago I did an interview with some good folks from over near Mount Calvary, Robert and Bernadette Kenned.
Bob and Bernie as I affectionately called them.
Here's part of that excerpt interview with Bernadette.
Taking a little break in between the music here.
I got my very good friend Bernadette Kennan, Bernie as I affectionately call her from Mount Calvary.
Bernie, you for many years have been associated with the We Love To Dance Club from a lot of membership from the other side of Lake Winnebago, but all over the country.
Bernadette, how many years have you been the editor of that newsletter?
I've been doing this for eight and a half years, enjoying every bit of it.
But I have to say one thing, if it wouldn't be for each and every one of you making the newsletter what it was, the newsletter wouldn't be.
Without your help, there would not be the newsletter I made.
You encourage me with pictures, with events, everything possible to put in that newsletter with birthdays, anniversaries.
everything everything was all about you so you folks made that newsletter for the we love the dance club
so you're passing the baton on soon and i just want to say i would get a uh three month newsletter from bernie and i could get a lot of information for the dances our anniversaries and birthdays obituaries uh where the festivals
festivals are.
So in the future, well, where would people sign up for membership?
That going to still stay with you and Bob or is that going to go on to somebody too?
Yes, because Robert is a treasurer, the membership will still stay with him and we still will work with you with the emails, notifying you that you have paid, you get that yearly receipt that you can roll anytime from January to September.
How much?
It is eight dollars right now, but you got to realize too, with the cost of the hall increasing, the bands increasing, we may have to look at different ways of increasing the cost.
But that's going to be a board decision.
But also the newsletter may be changing.
We want to save costs there too.
And maybe we'll just leave it to the events.
So Bob won't be going on pole dancing anytime
soon,
will
he?
No, no.
Hey, thanks, Bernie.
By the way, what's your phone number?
People want to call and get some information or do you rather have people write or can they call you?
They can either email at R-O-B-E-R-N-63 at gmail.com or you can call at 920-251-9412.
This
has been a paid political commercial.
You know,
It wouldn't be nice if we didn't let Bob say something too.
Hey
Bob, what do you have to
say?
1 to 430, the Bob Keener Legacy Band.
