279-885-4.
Well Joe and Kathy are hard at it already.
It's almost 12 minutes, 13 minutes after the hour, and although Saturdays come so quickly, one thing we all have to look forward to is when you get a spare moment, you want to actually, how would you say, put your feet under a table like Joe always says.
It's good to know that Mr. and Mrs. P's eating.
The food is always delicious there, waiting for you.
And it's always made fresh.
Nothing is under a heat lamp like those past food drive-in places.
This is good food.
The one thing about Mr. and Mrs. Peas is that they're open Wednesday through Sundays from seven in the morning, like already they're open, until two in the afternoon.
And you can get food that you can take home and reheat too.
That's really it.
That's it.
One of the nicest things that Joe P. was telling me about, and I gotta give you the phone number, 920-896-0696.
896-0696.

They'll tell you how many minutes it'll take to prepare it, and you'll be there right on time.
They even have catering services too.

Mr. and Mrs. Peace for delicious moon.
Okay, here we go.
Famous words for people.
Say about your friends as we all get older.
Joe Pio has some of these great things to talk about.
It's here, he says, one of the wonderful things about being a senior citizen
You don't have to worry whether that baby is dressed warmly enough.
As a senior citizen, you don't have to worry about everybody else's problems.
The main problem with every day is nowadays.
There you go.
And the other thing is irrevocable powers of attorney.
You know what I mean?
Okay, Frankie Yankovic coming up, and they're gonna do a nice one titled, She told me she loved me, but oh how she lied.
Frankie Yankovic!
She told me she loved me but oh how she lied Oh how she lied Oh how she lied She told me she loved me but oh how she lied Oh how she lied to me
She told me she loved me, but oh how she lied Oh how she lied, oh how she lied She told me she loved me, but oh how she lied Oh how she lied to me She told me she'd marry me, but oh how she lied Oh how she lied, oh how she lied She told me she'd marry me, but oh how she lied Oh how she lied to me
Frankie Engovic with his original yanks from Cleveland, Ohio.
We're going to go all the way over to Hutchinson, Minnesota and listen to my little buddy Dr. Lester Schaft.
He's since passed away a couple of years ago already.
Anyway, his band is going to do the overcoat polka.
Hey, how about that, Dr. Lesser Schrift and a little bit of overcoat polka.
I forgot to tell you, last week, I received a really nice surprise phone call from one of my little buddies from Fox Lake, Al of Amburen and his lovely wife, Noreen.
I didn't talk to Noreen, but I had a nice conversation with Al and he wanted to say hello to everybody out there and also just checking up on how Corky and I are doing.
I like that when people call and occasionally wonder how other people that they really like are doing well-wise.
And we're hanging in there.
It was nice talking to you, little buddy.
And I hope you and the rest of the family are doing good in Fox Lake.
And I understand he gets to quite a few of the dances over at the American Legion where they have those Friday night get-togethers.
Anyway, Bandit Briggs Proto Standard with us today.

So the grass should not get ahead of you, if you know what I mean.

Our good friends at Quality Plumbing, Kelly, Kent, and Brandon, realize so many of you will have water problems and most often those issues will happen either just a day or two days before you have a big party at your place.
Isn't that annoying?
when you know you have to call a plumber and you hope that they will get there in time to solve the problem so that your guests don't have any issues when they come to your house.
Some times when you have a big gathering, that's the one thing most homeowners will worry about.
Will the plumbing let you down?
Will the electricity go out?

Yep, Normie Dawgs in the band from over near Mayville in that area.
They played a lot of music over the years.
Bumped into him several times in my youth and the whole band was always very nice to me.
I'll never forget their kindness.
Somebody else who's been very kind to our whole family is Dr. Kim Tuig.
Corke and I love going to see him, although it's never

Mark Jerkovic and his band from Denmark have a new CD out, and this is one off that desk.
It's called the Kentucky Walls.
Look at that Kentucky waltz, a nice slow temple there for those people that like those slow, slow waltzes.
Charmene, Charmene is the brand new manager of our local high vee grocery store.
Have you stopped over yet and met her?
What a young, nice young lady from all the way from Iowa.
And she moved to the ribbon area here to help take over the new store when Phil Hammermeister got promoted and moved to North Dakota.
Now some people might say moving to North Dakota with those cold winters is not really a promotion.
But Phil, he jumped at the chance.
He hated leaving Rippin.
He made so many wonderful friends in this area.
And I know he would want me to say thank you to all those families that opened their hearts and souls to he and his family and his sons that got, you know, settled into high school here and it's tough to pull up roots and go.
But Sarmine's going to do a great job.
The high v. store here in Rippin on the west side is open seven days a week from six in the morning till ten in the evening.
Although I go at 6 o'clock to get the majority of our groceries, I wish the fresh chicken was available.
Fresh chicken rotisserie and broasted chicken comes out of the cookers and fryers at 11 o'clock.
So I guess I got to go back.
It's nice to shop at the Hy-Vee store because they have everything I need for making things from scratch, baking things, or getting things from the deli and the bakery and the in-store smokehouse.
Lots of things in the fresh dairy aisle.
cottage cheese and yogurt and things like that.
Corgi likes tapioca pudding, I do too.
You take a little scoop of tapioca and put a maraschino cherry on top.
Oh, that's a nice little reward, especially after you cut grass for several hours.
Check out the adult beverages, even have pet food, some things for health and beauty.
They got everything you need, cleaning supplies.
It's our local Ivy grocery store on Ripon's West Side.
Let's see, brew heating and cooling air with us today too.
We'd like to say good morning to the whole gang there.
A big reminder that Tamal, on the 16th, is the long-awaited St.

It starts tomorrow at 11 o'clock with a chicken barbecue, Brotsburgers.
They got corn old game they even have, let's see here, an old car show.
Ralph tells Trio's planer, starting from 11.
I've been going from 11 to three.
That's all Tamal.
Come for the chicken barbecue.
My buddy, Big Mike, would say he lives in Princeton.
He's part of that contingency there.
He says, don't forget to bring grandpa and grandma.
That's Tamal.
It starts at 11 o'clock.
Because after Tamal, you're gonna have to wait another year for that picnic.
It's over in Princeton, Tamal.
Brewer heating and cooling.
They'll take good care of your heating system.
Get you up and running this fall when it starts.
The temperatures start dropping.
We get some pretty warm days even in the 80s yet.
Nights get a little cooler than they were earlier this summer but still we got some weather that will be something we're going to have to all contend with.
That's that Brewer heating and cooling on Ripa's northeast edge on North Douglas Street.
Give them a call see if they can help you out with any issues with your heating or air conditioning.

Billy Ombock on the vocal there.
Nice guy too, Bill.
One thing about me, myself, I like to listen for the bass line in most of the songs.
