Let's get into some music all the way from Minnesota.

Hey Brother Brewer all the way from Minnesota and a nice snappy polka and he calls it the JFK polka after John Fitzgerald Kennedy.

I think maybe he recorded that when Kennedy was assassinated many sad years ago.

Don Peachy coming up we're gonna do a waltz before we get into our polka music.

Actually I think this one is called the Silver Lake waltz Don

Peachy.

you

Hey, how about that some old vintage?

I guess you just say vintage means the same thing as old but Don Peachy in the band from Burnett, Wisconsin Well, I want to talk a little bit this morning if I can about the good folks at Kaycrete right down the road for me here on Olden Road My new neighbor Dylan and his lovely bride Ashley Dylan is in the business of providing consumers like yourself quality thick Concrete when you want to put in a patio

for grilling out, you don't have to sit on the grass, and maybe you want something that's gonna last a long time, you don't have to make necessary repairs.

When you have a contractor put in a thick coat of layer of concrete, that's one thing you get peace of mind.

Either a driveway, a patio, a sidewalk, you don't want it busting up.

Over time, you can find inferior contractors that don't really give a hoot about their end product, but with K-Crete, they really do.

Because they know that if you get a quality job, and you are totally satisfied, you're good words and praise to your friends.

They'll say, boy, where'd you get that concrete?

No, I got it from Cape Crete, right here in Ripon.

It's a new country.

Company, why don't you give them a call?

The number is 920 area code 279-8854.

You can call them right now, leave a message, or maybe Dylan will be free to pick up this Saturday morning.

920.

279-8854 Dylan and his partner compadre there has made help for Josh.

Well, come on give you commercial residential concrete flatwork.

You give him a call you will be happy 279-8854 Well, joint Kathy and the staff are with us today at Mr. and Mrs. P's eatery.

Corky and I shared a turkey dinner the other night he could eat so generous

One of these portions, tricky with mashed potato and gravy, steamed vegetables, steamy broccoli along with, what do we have there?

Oh yeah, steamy carrots, oh boy.

And then we also picked up some dessert too.

Food is always wonderful at Mr. and Mrs. P's.

It really gets your taste buds jumping around.

So I've been today for breakfast.

They just opened up about 15, 16 minutes ago and they're open every day from seven until two.

except on Mondays and Tuesdays when they restock the entire store.

Mr. and Mrs. Pease, on Ripon's west side, 1100 West Fondland Street, you give them a call, let them see if they can put something together for you.

The phone number there is 920-896-0696.

Want to say good morning to Joy and the whole staff over there?

And Mr. and Mrs. Pease, they are busy working already.

With your kind permission, I would like to dedicate the day show to a longtime listener of mine and a guy I got to know years ago.

It was Jason Mansmith, Biggie's uncle, Don Wilhelm from Fond du Lac.

Don, he passed away early June and I like to dedicate the day show to Don's wife, his widow Aunt Myra as Biggie's aunt and Biggie's cousin Mark and Mike and the rest of the family.

all-rounding, surrounding.

They're going to have a celebration of life, I guess, coming up sometime soon.

So today's show is dedicated to the memory of Don Wilhelm in Pondlack, a good friend of mine for years.

And although the distance kept us apart, we were here for a couple times a year.

You really love this show.

So Don, this show is thinking about you.

We got something here by The Bad Boys.

Thanks, Joey.

What a great guy Wow, we want to tell you a little bit about quality plumbing

No matter what the season is, people, consumers like yourself, might need a good plumber.

And that quality plumbing, that's exactly what you're gonna get.

We've had different issues on our plays out on Olden Road over the last little

over

40 years.

I think every consumer does that one time, leaky faucet, maybe having a new appliance put in that uses water.

You know, like a new toilet or shower or whatever.

Some consumers like yourself, and maybe even me, might not like

Dicking around with water.

You never know how it's going to turn out what the end result will be quality plumbing Kelly Kent and Brandon give them a call They're always Johnny on the spot smile on your face.

They'll make sure that you're happy The thing is with water you never want to leave your home with the possibility of Returning and having water damage inside your home even in the basement.

It could be a malfunctioning sump up

that doesn't kick in after the water softener engages.

So give them a call.

Quality plumbing right here in town.

748-4142.

We got Kent, Kelly, and Brandon.

Great guys.

748-4142.

All the way from Minnesota and far out of the past, Don Morrison is jolly Germans with Jerry's Polka.

For all you guys named Jerry out there, pretty good stuff.

Well, like I said, when you want good food, you just got to look or listen to the show and we'll tell you where to go.

And we were just talking about Canoes Brewery and that's a good fact.

Graphic sign on letter company are with us today too.

They know how important it is for anybody in business to make money because you have a lot of people counting on you.

If you're the owner, get the word out, make sure people know what you do, how they can find you.

And X marks the spot.

So often people put a sign on their building or in the front of the yard or on their vehicles to convey information for prospective customers.

That's a great idea.

But you have to find a place that does the best job in producing that sign at your affordable rate.

You know, as the owner, how much money you have to spend to get that sign made.

But at Graphic Sign and Letter Company here on Riftford's northeast edge, they know how to do it and save you money before you even say anything.

That's the beautiful part.

Stop it and see the good guys, Danny and Doug, that's his dad, and of course his mom, Cathy, Doug, Cathy and Danny Kelm at Graphic Sign and Letter Company, right on East Oshka Street.

748-7723.

The last couple weeks I called Danny early in the morning to visit with him and I said are you working in the shop today?

He said no we're just leaving to go to a job to put signs up on vehicles so they actually go to that location.

748-7723.

Graphics sign and letter company.

You will not be disappointed.

On our show today, we've got two-week family dentistry.

They know how important it is for you to attend family gatherings, church functions, et cetera, and still be able to enjoy your time with these family friends and co-workers and church members.

Two-week family dentistry.

There's a lot of church picnics out there to come.

Don't be disappointed because you can't go because your teeth are bothering Plan ahead and get a dental visit and have the technicians there at two week family dentistry Check your teeth over for you.

Call them Monday morning first thing 920-921-8565 when you got a smile

A little bit of an Alpine Landler with the Alter Camaraden from just north of Seabroganet area.

Hey, something nice all the way from the West Coast, I should say.

It's the New California Polka with Peter and Paul Windinger.

Those guys hail from New Home, Minnesota.

Hey, let's stay with the music, huh?

We got Tom and Elmer Hayes.

We'll do this one for my good friend Robert Kennan.

I call him Bob and Bernie over at Mount Calvary.

Also requested by Tom and Joni Delada.

Here we go.

It's the Tell Me Sincerely.

Oh, from out of the past, it's the Hayes Boys, Tom and Elmer together.

That goes back a few moons.

One thing for certain, if you're a homeowner, and you're not renting because you own your own home, one thing you wanna do is always make sure your property looks nice.

I mean, I'm talking about not only the landscaping, but how about your buildings?

If you have a house that's run down, one of the first things people see when they drive by,

Most often is your garage door.

If the garage door is hanging or kind of teetering, you kind of wonder how can you get in and out of that building?

At modern overhead door, they don't do anything but install brand new garage doors, garage door openers, etc.

And they take away the old stuff too.

So you don't have to even bother taking it to the recycling.

They do garage door installation.

They do garage door openers, taking in and putting out the old ones, and they do garage door repairs if that's all you need.

They have trained courteous staff, great prices on top brands, the CH1, that's American-made overhead garage doors right here in the country, plus the LiftMaster opener, which is so smooth and quiet.

Your neighbors will never hear you coming or going.

Great prices, like I say, and your neighbors love them too.

Check them out and find out why everybody in the area loves modern overhead door.

There's a reason for their affection for the Stobby boys.

Over 41 years in the business, sales service, installation for commercial, residential, and farm use.

Now the good news is they have another location.

So not only can you pick them up locally, you're right here in Ribbon, but if you're around Wapaka and up that area, Wautoma, they have a new start just south of Wild Roads on 18th Road.

The ribbon phone number is 920-748-5000 and in while rolls 920-622-4119.

Honest pricing and premium quality modern overhead door.

Back in some more music, we got Jerry Gage in the band from Wausau.

Thank you.

Hey, how about that one?

Jerry Gage in the band all the way from Wausau.

And my rose waltz for Jack and Nancy here in town.

Well, we got a dandy one coming up for you.

Every time I go to Mr. and Mrs. P's eatery, either through the drive-thru or going inside the dining, this is what I tell Joe.

Hey,

Joe!

Wish was mine.

Hey, Joe.

She got skin that's creamy, dreamy eyes that look so lovey-dovey.

Lips are red like cherry berry wine.

Now listen, Joe.

I know he'll.

But old buddy, let me tell you how I feel.

Oh, she's a honey, sugar, sugar pie.

I'm warning you.

Let's make a deal Let me dance with her and see if she is real Or she's a

Honey and sugar and sugar pie I'm warning you I'm gonna try to steal Her from you

Hey Joe!

He and Troy and Ritz and Group are all listening to the show this morning over at Mr. and Mrs. Pease.

Great guys, you know pedals and plows are with us on all three of our shows and during the growing season you can find great savings at pedals and plows in fact

They've been running a sale recently with 25% off their annual and perennial plants.

They have a few garden vegetable plants still available.

25% off trees, shrubs, and bushes.

They have sweet corn in now too.

In fact, they're open Monday through Saturdays from 10 to 6, Sundays from noon till 5.

Big Dick Rogers fans, Wade and Wayne Kaufman.

I like to check up with Wade once in a while to see how his folks are doing.

You know, everybody seems to be getting by.

We all have our own aches and pains and the growing process is always tough for some people.

Growing old, you hate to see your loved ones get to that point.

Wade takes good care of his folks and also runs that farm.

And he has a lot of help in the greenhouse and pedals and plows.

He has one young gal that works there.

Her name is Linda and there's also two Debbie's.

So he has the Debbie one or Debbie two at pedals and plows.

Why don't you stop in and see which way of the three you get?

But you might even run into Wade Kaufman, the boss.

That's at 9129 Kaufman Road.

Go west off of County Road E at Kaufman Road.

Kaufman Road is north of Rush Lake a few miles.

Right at the bottom of that little curve on the hill there, you'll see a sign saying, go west.

About three quarters of a mile or so.

It's pedals and plows.

Check out all the sweet corn and all the great deals on plants for your yard.

And I guess the hanging baskets, they just had a few of those left.

That's that pedals and plows.

It was a great season for those things.

Vines and rushes are going to be open today.

In fact, Frankie and Viver playing.

That'll be Steve Austin and Steve Rodriguez on Saturday.

But that's a week from today, but next Friday on the third is sly Joe at 530 and vines and russians come for the delicious pizza Try some delicious wine in the wine tasting room and it's a win-win for everybody at 410 County Road E north of ribbon It's vines and russians if you want to order a pizza give them a call 748 32

We got to do a song for Wade Coffin.

He likes this song by Dick Rogers and The Man.

I kind of like it too.

Dick Metko and Merlin Poliski kind of telling you a story about, I don't know, I think it's about the

Hillbilly.

They say I'm glad you've fallen, is the county fair?

Here in the hill,

bet it won't go, we're just a couple of hicks.

We're from the farm and country, we're coming the way to what's next.

I come from Tijuana, you're playing a band with me.

My idea of fallen is fishing in a bridge.

Here in the hill, bet it won't go, we're just a couple of hicks.

We're from the farm and country, we're coming the way to what's next.

Lift up the jug, Merlin.

Keep right on a porin.

That's your dang good liquor.

It's made from country corn.

Here in the Hill

Valley Boca, where there's a couple of hicks.

Where on the farm in country, where everyone would fix.

Say, don't think I'll treasured in that field of corn.

I'll thank the one with shoes on.

The other one is yours.

Here in the Hill Valley Boca,

I took my gal Suzie out behind the barn.

She said it's time for milk and gosh darn it

couldn't start.

The girl in the hill fell in the hayfield.

When I saw him coming, man, those tires pealed.

Here in the hill fell an apple, just a couple of hicks.

We're under the fireman's hunting, we're coming with what's next.

I took textile smoothshed in the old corn frill.

I told her not to tell him, but I'll bang it all she did.

What a story.

Two hillbillies out there chasing the girls around.

Well, if you have central air conditioning, maybe the unit should be checked over a little bit See if it has enough freon to run

If the air conditioner you have right now is struggling, it's going to cost you more money and you're not going to get much productivity out of it.

So call Brewer Heating and Cooling on North Douglas Street right here in Ripon and have the boys scheduled to come out and take a look at your air conditioning system.

When the weather starts getting cold again and staying much cooler, your furnace might need a little looksy as well.
