She's studying really hard and working extremely hard too.
I always say, work hard, keep your nose clean, and to the grindstone, and at the end of the race, you hopefully will be the winner.
So our kids are doing good, and they're saving their money.

This past Sunday, the 21st of June, was Father's Day.
Did some of you, or I hope most of you, took time to reflect on your dad, either if he's still with us today or if he's passed on.
My dad's been gone for a lot of years, several decades now, and I still miss him.
I thought he was one of the world's smartest man.
He had a big heart, very kind,
And he only got mad at me when it was necessary.
And like he said, you live and die by the choices you make in life.
If you choose the right path, you'll be okay.
Make sure you've got good friends around you that don't lead you down the wrong way.
And then he was very true about that.
And that was very true, great advice as well.
He said, learn from your mistakes and never repeat them.
The good folks at Budsene March and Funeral Home here in Ripon hope that you had time to reflect on your own dad, and perhaps if he's still alive, had the opportunity to call and talk to him this past weekend.
Our kids contacted me and wished me a happy Father's Day, which to me mealy-remeant meant a lot.
It seems like our days go by so fast that we grow up so old and so fast.
Our grandkids are now teenagers and soon out of college they'll be moving on and making their own way.
and you find that you're not so important anymore.
But hopefully the legacy and the things we taught them as grandparents will stick with them for a lifetime.
I know I learned a lot of lessons from my folks.

Well, I tell you what, this is really a tragedy here.
Sometimes you wonder if these things that I tell you are really true.
Well here, in June of 2000, this is several years ago,
Some kids were playing basketball at a recreational field in Marlin Township in Pennsylvania when they heard screams for help coming from the portable toilet that served the field, that serviced the field.
Well, the kids ran home to moms.
She called the cops.
The cops found a man standing in the toilet naked from the waist down and up to his hips in, well,
Unpleasantness, if you know what I mean.
According to the police, the man had dropped his keys in the toilet and became stuck when he climbed in to find them.
He says he removed his shoes, socks, and pants so they wouldn't get dirty.
The man spent 45 minutes trapped in the toilet.
It took rescue teams, crew members another 45 minutes to free him.
That doesn't include the time removing the toilet seat from the man's butt, which was wedged so tight, it had to be removed by emergency room doctors.
The man never found his keys, but the story did end on a positive note.
The police withheld his name to save him from embarrassment.
Oh well, so be careful when you go on those porta-potties.

It happens to me once in a while, so now I'm getting a little smarter.
In my old age, I make a list of all the grocery items that I think I need for the week.
I go to the store and I pick up the groceries because Corky don't like to get up at six o'clock in the morning and go with me, but I'll go.
I like going at that time.
I can zip up and down the aisles and get everything I need.
And have you ever gotten to the store and then when you got home, you realize, oh nuts, I forgot something that you really needed.
And the saying, what you don't have in your head, you gotta have in your feet.
Gotta go back in again.
At a local heavy grocery store, they have everything you need from things already prepared in their in-store bakery.
And they have a lot of delicious things there to select.
Or their in-store deli.
And there again, you have a lot of things already prepared from sliced meat and cheeses, pastas.
Oh my goodness, it's just delicious.
