Well, I am so excited about Saturdays because I know I could get one of my favorite dishes.
There are so many different places I love to eat.
One of them is Pastimes, Pub and Grill, Downtown Ribbon.
And Saturdays is special because after four o'clock this afternoon, I can pick up a full rack of barbecued ribs.
So tender that the meat falls off the bone.
Get extra special tangier sauce.
I get the regular barbecue sauce, but some people like the southern bourbon style barbecue sauce.
I get the regular.
You know I gotta put a hair net in my hair so I don't get barbecue sauce all over my face and my mush, but it's delicious.
At the four o'clock you get your barbecue ribs, call ahead and reserve that for pick up or dining in.
But the key is to call and reserve it because it is one of our local favorites and a lot of people like yours truly love to go there at the Pastimes Pub and Grill and pick that up.
Well, some people like to eat it right there too, but it's still a good idea to call ahead and say I'm coming at four or five and save me some ribs because I want to get my fill.
They got delicious burger baskets, seafood baskets, you know, fish and shrimp, etc.
All kinds of soup, sometimes three different kinds of soup on the weekend.
No matter what kind of soup it is, I like to try them all.
I picked up a bowl
corn chowder soup the other day and was that ever good it reminded me of the kind of corn soup my mother used to make when I was a kid it was so good some of that stuff takes me back to my childhood I know I don't look my or act my age but I tell you they sure make me feel like a kid past signs pub and grill right across the street from the rip and post office at 120 Scott Street
