Just the other day our grandkids from Oshkosh showed up and they said, Grandpa, we're going to take you and Grandma out for lunch today and we're taking you over to P's because we know how much you love them.
I talked to Joe earlier this month and he says that they will be closed on Thanksgiving Day that Thursday and also that Friday.
They will be open on that Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, and, of course, on Saturday reopening up again after taking off Thanksgiving Day on Thursday and Friday for the employees to have some time off.

Well, let's see what's taking place at Vines in Russia.
It's coming up next Saturday, a week from today, on the 22nd, they have Noah James Hittner providing the free entertainment from two to five.

The phone number is 748.
$32.96, located at 410 County Road E. They have delicious wine from their very own vineyards.
Of course, a couple pull tabs on the beer there.
You can get some blue-eyed blonde, too, on tap as well.
So I don't have any entertainment lined up for today on the 15th.
But next Saturday, two to five, it's Noah James Hittner, the prowess family, hoping you all have a fantastic, beautiful, and very happy reunion for Thanksgiving, because that's when a lot of people get together.
Don Peachy and the band coming up for all you people that live up on the Wolf River.
Don Peachy with the Wolf River Walls.

Well I tell you what, let's play one by Tony Wolf and his family, had several sons in the band and his wife Betty played the piano and did a lot of the vocals and Tony played the concertina.
I liked this song many years ago and I just found it again.
How about one called the Picnic

Maybe if you're not quite awake yet.
You might be half asleep We got Bruce Bradley with I'm dreaming
Hey, how about that?
A group of fine musicians all jamming together by Schrader on the bass and tuba.
And let's see, they even have one of the guys, the Yodlers, from Alpine Rose with them.
Kara Hartwig, doubling in there on Concertina.
My friend Jared Cadillac, a retired country mailman from Minnesota.

It's always good to get the fresh stuff there.
Try some beef jerky.
They have that too.
Beef pork snack sticks.
And let's see if they got summer sausage, regular or with garlic.
I like them both.
It's hard for me to nail down my favorite when it comes to becks.
It's all good.
They got ribs and steaks, rolls and chops.
Anything you want the freshest, you're gonna get it the best from becks.
In Ring, south of Highway 44 on Clairville Road, or 1003 North Main Street in Oshkosh.
Either way, you get the best from becks.
Their phone number over there is quite easily.

This next song coming up, I'd like to play for my buddy Dave Knuth and a crew over at Knuth Brewery, 230 Watson Street.
They're over right there now starting in making pizza pie crust for those pizza pies that everybody's gonna want today They are not open on Sunday or Monday So if you want to go for a party make it happen today at 230 Watson Street take a tour this afternoon
of the brewery and see how it makes those delicious different flavors of beer and check out the dance hall, the big ballroom upstairs.
I tell you, if you're having a party and you want it held and rippin', the canoe with brewery is definitely the place to do it.
Many folks don't realize but they do have an elevator there for the elderly who you need a little help getting up to the second floor.
You don't have to climb all the steps.
You can have your party downstairs and upstairs all at the same time because they have two different areas for entertainment.
Plus try the chicken wings today, the salads, the subs, the soups and of course the pizza.
It's delicious.
always at canoe.
They all have all kinds of different microbeer beer there and perhaps you might even find one of these if you ask David.
It's a song done by Jerry Schneider in the band from Chiltern.
It's the Red Beer
People, people, people, charity.
People, people, people, charity.
Don't they put a people pit?
I
That's the thing for me.
People, people, I'll have two or three.
Let's all sing and dance with cheer.
Fill our steins with microbeer.
People, people, please save some for me.
Hey, how about that little red beer polka by Jerry and the boys and Teresa?
You know, on Wednesday night, I played this song and I liked it so much.
I'm gonna play it again for those of you that did not get a chance to listen to the Wednesday night program.
It's a very old recording of an old 78 by Frankie Yankovic.
And I like to play this song for my friends, Tom and Joanne Delotta.
Because Tom, he spends a lot of time out in the garden, right Joey?
from Joe and Kathy and Tuba and Cork and Bob and Bernie.
It's Frankie Yankovic with When Banana Skins Are Falling
Got a job out on a farm, just a garden and a barn.
Picking fruits and vegetables all day, say.
But when all my work is complete, then I'm craving more for you.
Listen, dear, to what I got to say.
When I'm picking stuffed beets here, that's my heartbeat for you.
When I'm picking blueberries, that's when I feel blue for you.
When I'm picking those onions That's the only time I cry for you But when banana skins are falling I'll come sliding back to
When I'm picking tomatoes, that's when I catch up to you.
When I'm picking sweet corn deer, I know you're so sweet and true.
When I'm picking hot pepper, then my heart just burns with love for you.
But when bananas skins are falling, I'll come sliding back to you.
picking the radish, like a radish, here it goes.
When I'm picking the turnip, I can't see your turnip no.
When I'm picking the garlic, then I'll bring my love to you so true.
But when banana skins are falling, I'll come sliding back to you.
I'll come sliding back to you.
about that Franky Yankovic when banana skins are falling?
I really like that so I hope you did do get a chuckle out of that one.

They got the parts 7 4 8 3 1 0 0 Chris Rolanda and Marissa What can I say about my friends here in town that take care of families when they are in time of need and by that I mean when a loved one passes away Unexpectedly you got to turn to people
who can help assist the family with all the necessary funeral arrangements.
Some people think it's just easier just to have somebody take care of all the arrangements, but there's a lot more detail that goes into this.
Connecting up and notifying all the government agencies.
If the person's a veteran, they have to be notified too because they have a military service.
It's so many different things.
You can have the funeral services held right in their chapel, top of the hill.
West Oshka Street, May Party Drive, or your House of Worship, Grayside, or even have a, how would you say, celebration of life down the road sometime.
Cremation services are available too, if you don't want to go the casket route.
Butte's in March at Funeral Home, top of the hill, 748-2623.
Please take some time this week and discuss your own
pre-funeral arrangements with Chris and Orlando.
That'll be the kindest thing you've done for your family.
We got the Ennis check boys and they're gonna take us on a waltz across
Texas.
No stars in your eyes I could waltz across Texas with you Waltz across Texas with you in my arms Waltz across Texas with you Like a story beginning
lost in your charm And I could waltz
across Texas.
Troubles are just up and gone The moment that you come in view
your hand in mind here I could dance on and on And I could walk across Texas with you Walks across Texas with you
Like a story
Nice stuff there.
The Ennis check boys.
The two protection Mike Marks and John plays the button box in that band.
Nice job guys.
You know, I don't know if you are in the same category as yours truly, but you know when you have arthritis and you wake up in the morning and
It takes you a little while to get your engine going, and you look at other young people getting things done in a more quicker manner.
They can rapidly take care of a chore.
I envy those days.
I used to work years ago.
I don't know if you guys knew this, but I used to work for a feed meal part-time.
When Corky and I had the kids, they were real small.
I actually had three jobs just to pay for all the bills and keep our head above water.
I learned a lot in those days.
One thing was I used to have to take a grain shovel and literally shovel brewer's yeast out of a railroad box car into an auger to unload it.
And in the hot summer day, I used to come home blacker than the ace of spades.
I was really black, so much dust.
And I think back to those days, I did a lot of things without questioning.
But now as you get a little older and every time the weather changes, you just don't feel like...
getting out and jumping around too much.
Dr. David Egert, he's an orthopedic surgeon.
He realizes this.
He knows that fully well.
He has spent his entire life helping seniors try to regain as much of their movement as possible.
When it comes to your hip, your knee, or your rotator cuff, any sudden jerk or motion can send anybody into a tailspin.
It's OSI.

Another one of my little buddies that I'm extremely fond of is Dr. Tim Tui.
And Tim and I have become very good friends over these many years now.
And I'm so thankful that Dr. Joan Knope, my family dentist for many years when I first moved here, when she retired, she put me on a trail of Dr. Tim, and I'm so thankful for that too.
And I want to send you on his trail too, you check out his family of dental technicians at Tuwing Family Dentistry in Fadalac at 211 South National Avenue.
Now it doesn't make any difference if you see Tim or his lovely daughter Catherine or his nephew Grady All three of them know exactly how to take care of your teeth and correct any problem that you are suffering with Let's face it.
We're not getting any younger And one of the things beside our eyesight and our hearing sometimes it's our teeth that decide to go 920 921 85

And make a fun afternoon.
So much for those things coming up on the weekend.

I never worry about it because I got Kelly and Kent, you know, I got their phone number and I'm going to give it to you too.
So anytime you need a quality plumber, get quality plumbing right here in town.
748-4142.
In all seriousness, folks,
And all the years I've been talking about Kelly and Kent, I've never heard a bad word about these two guys.
Not one syllable.
Now usually, some people get a little crabby and they'll complain about something.
But never anything about quality plumbing or any of the other men and women that I talk for on the radio.
Give them a call.
See what they can do for your water problem.
748-4142.
Just remember that number.

I was looking at the meter of the gauge on the screen here.
Those levels are really all over the place.
When Romy played his trumpet, everything got real loud.
Otherwise, when the clarinets and saxes took over, it kind of backed off the volume a little bit.
We got a nice song by Tiny Hill.

The Stobby Boys going into their 41st year just about finishing that year up since they started selling overhead garage doors.
And over those 40 some years they have perfected the business giving you the consumer the best in service and the best of product too when it comes to trying to secure your buildings, your garage doors, your machine sheds, your barns, whatever you need, an overhead door.
They got the right door to fit the opening plus the lift master opener to power that door up and down smoothly and quietly.
Get a hold of modern overhead door.
They handle only the CH1 American made door right here in the States and they have technicians that will come clean up the mess when they're all done and take everything away so you don't have anything to do but look at the beautiful job.
that is done now on your building.
To secure these buildings, give them a call before the winter snows pile up.
Good idea.
They even have a store outlet now in Wild Rose.
The phone number 920-7485,000.

You know, you're happy to be back there, not that you have to wear a snowmobile suit to try to keep warm.
Let them keep your furnaces running smoothly and efficiently from brewery heating and cooling.
Not so much cooling right now, but the heat, it's the main thing.
Oil and gas furnaces, whatever problem you have, they can probably fix it.
They will tell you right off, you don't want to nickel and dive these older heating systems, the furnaces.
It's easier to replace it and save you a lot of energy dollars in the turn.
Seven, four, eight, six, four, nine, four.
Seven, four, eight, six, four, nine, four.
Have a fantastic weekend.
Take Christ wherever you go.
Brewer heating and cooling.

There you go, a little veggie tray, that's what I'm thinking of.
A lot of adult beverages, too, to stock that party, to make sure it's a joyous one.
Make sure you enjoy all your holidays, but don't forget the good dairy products, too, that your local Hivey store has for you.
In-store smokehouse, too.
Guests staying over, pick up some fresh eggs, some bacon, or some breakfast sausages from the meat counter.
It's at your local Hivey store, where it ripens west side.
You might even want to choose a broasted or rotisserie chicken for your main meal with a ham.
That's a thought.
Chicken is always ready after 11 o'clock, seven days a week.
Open from six in the morning till 10 at night.
Happy holidays from our friends at our local Rippin' Hivey grocery store.
We got some more music coming up right now.
Here's a dandy one.
It's Craig Ebel with Down in the Valley.
Hear the train blow When the sun is fading Feel him so low Feel him so low Feel him so low Wait in the evening Hear that train blow
I love sunshine
the train.
Craig Igbo and the Diversico from the Twin Cities.
Richard Yerkovich coming up and you know what?
Nobody dances quite like you.
been glancing at me, your eyes sparkle and glow.
My heart is aching for one day so slow As you are so graceful and beautiful too Nobody waltzes like you With a touch of your hand and the smell of your hand When I was with you
It's like what's in our hair.
I'm hopelessly lost in your charms.
Yes, it's true.
Nobody wants it like you.
Feel so carefree As you've saved your last horse But no one but me And my heart will dance in my dreams The night through As nobody walks, there's nobody weep
You saved your last waltz But no one but me And my heart will dance in my dreams the night through Nobody waltzes like you Nobody waltzes Nobody waltzes Nobody waltzes
Nice job, Richie Yerkovich!
