Oh, I'll tell you Joe has been making all these delicious different kinds of soup every week. He has several different kinds of soup.

I tried the chili lately. That chili reminds me of the little country restaurant that my folks used to go to when I was in college.

That was so good. Tasty. He has mushroom soup there, made from local mushrooms, very good stuff. I had some of that, too, this past Monday.

I picked up some soup on Sunday, last week's Sunday, because I knew that Joey wasn't open on Monday in Tuesday.

So I went and picked up some soups, different kinds of soup, but the mushroom I tried, quirky at some of his world famous chicken noodle soup, which is awesome, too.

Once in a while he has tomato with basil, and that's awesome, too, but that mushroom soup was something to talk about.

I haven't had soup like that. It's better than that canned stuff, I'll tell you.

Anyway, Mr. and Mrs. Pease, paying for our first half hour, had a delightful conversation on the day.

Danny Jr. and his little get together called the Jerkovic Family Polka Band are playing

a week from today for the Wisconsin polka boosters at the Sterling Chellay in Ubertus. And that

You know, the one thing I've been asked most often is, do you ever regret not doing a live show on Radio Road?

Like, you used to say, oh yes, I surely do. Because back then, I could talk to you guys, you could call me up on the phone and we could talk a little bit in between tunes and I really enjoyed that.

That was always a warm spot in my heart. The one thing I do realize with things changing what it is, you cannot always control the events in your life.

But you can surely control where you eat. And that's one of my favorite dining spots you know over time has been Mr. and Mrs. P's eatery.

Because I record these shows, I never know what kind of weather we will have a couple days later when they come and pick up the shows and the transfer to the main computer.

It kind of leads me in a quandary. What does the weather going to be like on the following weekend?

Well, I got to make sure I write down the right date on my little piece of paper where I keep a list of my advertisers in the order that I do them.

So I don't get the date confused and that's what I did on the last song. Here I thought it was the 25th, but the show is the 26th.

Our good friends at our Savior's United Church of Christ, we like to thank everybody for coming out last Sunday and seeing Tommy Kinesin, his family band, they had an exceptional turn out for that.

Thank you for showing up. And the pork chop dinner was very good too.

Also, yesterday St. Catharine and Sianna had their big fall turkey dinner. They had their turkey dinner was yesterday.

And that was at our Savior's United Church of Christ. And these dates are also confusing to me. I got to get my stuff together and make sure I know where I'm going.

We had a pork chop dinner last week at St. Catharine's. Yep, that's it. Pork chop dinner last Sunday at St. Catharine's here in Tom.

And yesterday they had the turkey dinner at our Savior's and Pastor Kevin and the rest of the staff. Everybody wants to thank everybody for coming out and helping make on all their fundraising was a big success.

So pork chops last week Sunday, Tommy Kinesin and yesterday St. Catharine was a turkey dinner. I promised I'll try to make better notes so that I can read.

Do you make a grocery list prior to going to the high-vee grocery store?

My mom used to say, if you don't have it in your head, you have to have it in your feet.

So I try to make a long list of the things I don't cork and I will enjoy throughout the week.

Going to the grocery store for me is a very pleasant task.

I enjoy going to the high-vee store over the past years.

I got to know so many people that worked there.

And even after candy websters sold a store to my good friends over there at the high-vee store,

they know that you fill Hammermeister in his family.

They know that you want the best in varieties and the best in product too.

When it comes to bakery items, I love the apple fritters.

I always got to pick up five of those every time I go.

Because five times it's about as long as it takes for us to empty our pantry shells.

We don't have a lot of space on our pantry.

Our refrigerator freezer is not gigantic.

I often thought about buying one of those little chest-type freezers and putting in the garage.

Maybe someday I'll do that.

But they got a lot of different things to pick up.

Delicious fresh items.

And like I told Phil the other day on a conversation with the phone,

I said, I just love the high-vee brand.

It is awesome.

For those of you that have not been to Ripa's One Side,

Something else I really like are the country breakfasts that I can get at Irma's diner in Princeton.

I call all those country breakfasts because they're such hardy portions.

You find folks out there know what it is to work hard every day.

When breakfast time rolls around after doing chores,

you like to be fed up so you can have enough energy to get to noon and have another great meal.

Well, guess what?

Irma's diner is open from six in the morning for breakfast and until two in the afternoon.

Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

They are closed Wednesdays, though.

Six to two.

Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays for hardy country breakfasts and noon lunches.

You know, they serve food to a clock.

On the weekends, Friday, Saturdays and Sundays, they're open until three in the afternoon.

Well, this last week, we were busy, we had our oven all warmed up

We were making squash

Did you know that Vanderbrinks have nine different varieties of squash?

Gorgeous pumpkins yet?

You want to make them home made pumpkin pie?

Corn stalks, mini and regular strawberries for fall yard decorations

ornamental grass too, and 50 to 60 mums

I got a beautiful mumb from Barry for quirky this fall

and he told me how to take care of it

He says never water it from the top

Put it in a pan, fill the pan with the water

and the roots will suck up the water from the bottom

If you water it from the top, you're going to get the leaves wet

and if the temperatures drop at night, your leaves will discolour

and they will start to decompose

Open Monday through Saturdays, 10 to 5, 30 and today 10 to 5

But sad enough, next Friday, Friday on the 31st is the last day for this season

So next Friday, they will be closing up shop

The fry pies are long gone for this season

But if you want to get some ornamental grass, some mums yet, some potatoes

You get all the different onions too, I suppose

You get the straw bales for yard decorating, gourds and squash

They got 9 different varieties, I got to tell you

I wonder how much squash I can get out of 9 different varieties of squash

Nancy Brown, 79 years young from Fairwater

Passed away the middle part of this last month

On October the 12th

Nancy was from Fairwater

I showed it they dedicated to the memory of Nancy

And also her family and friends in the area and surrounding communities

If you've lost a loved one recently

You know exactly the feeling that a lot of people get in their stomach

They just feel so sad

Trying to find ways to break the news other family members

It's one thing to know that a loved one passes away

And we can only hope that we can all be together someday

And God's heavenly reward

And if we lead our life the correct way

That's how things should be

Have you ever thought

About how many terrible people there are in the world that heard others

And innocent people have to be affected by all these things

The good Lord and His mercy decides

They're going to have when it's time to be called before him

I would like to think that all of my friends that I know

All the acquaintances

All the everybody I've seen in my life
