Truth in The Morning · Tue Oct 20, 2026

Great morning, Truth Nation.

Welcome to Truth in the Morning on the award-winning 1017 FM.

We are broadcasting live from the American Family Insurance Studio in the heart of downtown at the Avenue.

I'm the legendary Homer Blow along with my girl,

Bailey Coleman.

Great morning, Bailey.

How are you doing and feeling this morning?

And can you see?

Uh, okay.

Kedafoggy

out there.

It kind of.

It's foggy out there.

Yeah.

Okay.

Super foggy.

It's gets fog out there.

Yeah.

Yeah.

I've only seen it worse.

One time coming back from Sheboygan.

It's Sheboygan.

And

then I used to many of you know, I lived in California for a minute and

California

and in California in Fresno,

California.

Okay.

I'm sorry.

Yeah.

Fresno, California There's nothing with their winter season like we have snow here.

Mm-hmm.

They have fog there Oh Like

London

fog

is falling down

like in the middle of the daytime you can go outside and not see your own body fog Like you can't see your hand in front of you

or

your body anywhere.

You can't see a building a door or nothing

shout out to the people that live of like a hundred and seven or something like that in Mill Road or Flag because you know at night if you drive past the fog from yeah the little creaks and oh my gosh I'll be like here

right

Right.

Well,

you're waiting for Michael Myers.

Okay.

Jason.

Okay.

They're coming.

And it's like, it's damn near every day.

Yeah.

Yeah.

When it

gets we're driving down, uh, uh, brown deer road.

My

son is like, this is scary.

This is like the hills.

Hey, right.

It was called the fog.

Yeah.

Wow.

Xavier

Have you How did you well you probably didn't have a problem getting in with the fog up?

Oh, no, it's a Five-minute drive for me.

So yeah But imagine running into the Sherman Park naked banded in this fall You know, of

course he would bring that

up.

Yes.

Good morning Xavier.

We love you.

We appreciate

you

It's contagious.

It's contagious.

You know what I'm saying?

You're like, happy to hear everyone.

Great morning.

Great afternoon.

You

know

what I'm saying?

Yeah, exactly.

It's contagious.

Yeah.

Yeah, what would you have done if you would have ran into the bandit Xavier?

Right.

What was your done?

Probably take some video footage.

Really?

Yeah.

Get good, you know, on the ground coverage.

That sounds

about right.

You guys liked the humping video yesterday.

No, I did not like it.

I thought it

was you know what Xavier?

You are a very special kind of producer and person.

Yes.

So I get it.

I get it.

I get it.

Yes, his own skill set is very

unexpected.

Yes, but you got to expect it all.

You got to expect it all from Xavier.

So Xavier in the situation where the 30 year old that was

Shot and killed by an alleged family member because it was a family altercation and then this person the 63 year old Charlene house came by with her gun and obviously I don't know if it was words even exchanged because it was just like she came on a mission and Like one of them times where a person say one more time, right?

You let me one more time and you gonna find out you gonna faffo

And then there was that one more time.

He did that one more time.

Yeah.

He found out.

She shot him in the head.

Yeah.

And killed him.

Yeah.

And then probably went back to the barbecue.

Well, you know.

Was it a

family barbecue?

What was it?

Allegedly.

A lot of folks like that.

A lot of folks.

And I argue it.

Yeah.

A lot of

folks like to when they get together like that, they like to fuss and fight and argue.

Yeah.

I mean, family time is supposed to be family time and me.

I like to kick it.

I love my family and they be tripping sometimes.

But listen, we all just look at the one and be like, OK, you done?

OK, let's get back to it.

You know what I mean?

Yeah.

Shout out to everybody that loves their family.

Yeah.

A lot of people that, you know, like, you know what?

You got a good batch.

Other people be like, not so much.

Not so much.

Yeah.

Yeah.

I see.

You know, I get it.

You know, like for me, I don't know if the strain.

Well, how they were living.

Yeah.

And I wouldn't.

I wouldn't adjust it to that.

I wouldn't.

I went to school every day.

I had great grades.

I wouldn't used to having roaches or mice in the house and all that kind of

stuff.

Writing your name on your soda and all that.

I wasn't used to

that.

Listen, we didn't get no soda.

I came from six, technically seven.

We got

Kool-Aid.

And you better not

put too much sugar in there.

It was a rare kind.

There it is.

There it is.

That's all you needed.

Yeah.

We didn't get, we didn't get soda.

That was luxury.

Soda was luxury.

Soda came when you became older, you know, teenager.

Maybe you got your little job.

You could go get you

some soda.

Well, my late mother, she was addicted to Pepsi, which ended up, you know, having most of us addicted to Pepsi as well.

Oh, Pepsi drinkers, huh?

Yeah.

Yeah.

But, you know, I haven't drank soda since 2008.

So, um, and so anything with even carbonated water, I can't drink it.

I don't like it.

Oh, wow.

Okay.

Yeah.

So, um, I think sometimes it's when you become your own person.

So like, like being forced to eat tomatoes, carrots, black eyed peas, your mama said you got to eat a lot of these, you know,

And so we were forced to eat, you know, squash and stuff like

that.

But when I was able to make my own decisions, having a squash sense.

Wow.

Yeah.

Yeah.

The slimy okra.

I used to eat that.

Now it got to be fried okra.

I like

okra.

Yeah, I do too, but not slimy okra that I used to.

I used to eat that.

Yeah.

But once I was able to... That's good stuff.

That's good stuff.

It's just the, you know...

I understand.

It's not for everybody.

It

looks,

well, you know, after really, you know, seeing it after, you know, from when I had to eat it, but then just to see, it looks like a person that was sick.

And the mucous stem comes along with it.

It looks like having the

flu

or a severe cold.

I can't when you're going

with it.

It just

tastes good, man.

This tastes

good to me.

No, the fried cobra I still can do.

Now, I don't like regular tomatoes in their regular form, but I love fried green tomatoes.

OK.

Yeah.

All

right, then.

They got to be seasoned and fried, right?

I like.

I like fried green tomatoes, but I do like to have like fresh tomatoes.

I'm, I'm like, I like like an apple.

I like, no, I like cherry tomatoes.

The

bigger, I like,

I like the little ones.

They're easier to eat versus, you know, the whole cutting and slicing of the big

tomatoes.

I mean,

that's good for like salads

and stuff like that.

But

cherry tomatoes are good for salads too, but I prefer those if I'm just having tomatoes, because sometimes I just have tomatoes.

No.

Right.

Right.

Right.

Right.

And then I know I'm not like the super healthy eater, y'all.

As the ladies at work, though, I love flaming hot

every now and again.

Little bag.

That's my guilty pleasure.

I'm black.

You know what?

You are great.

Like when I listen to you on the radio, you sound great.

So I would have never known.

I'm great.

I'm great.

Yeah, because you know, when you can't tell me like, I thought she was right.

Oh, no.

You know, in radio, do you be like, shouting?

You know, it's

funny.

So we all know Lori Jones.

Yes.

Our radio homie.

Absolutely.

Yeah.

She used to be over at Jammin.

She's at NPR now.

Yeah, she is.

And we used to laugh all the time because we were both on V100 together.

And I wasn't really on the air, on the air then.

I was like doing weekends or something.

But she was doing middays and people would always come up to her and say they thought she was black.

So you know what I'm saying?

And she's Caucasian.

Yeah.

And then, but for me, they always thought I was white.

See, that's, that's the gray when you got the gray.

Yeah.

When you got the gray.

That's why you can be on your country station and people be like, Oh, okay.

All right.

And then they see you.

Oh my God.

She's black.

I never thought you were black.

You didn't sound black on the

radio.

And

you

know what?

Country people don't sound like that.

So anyways, uh, country, country air personnel is very few, very few.

Right.

Well, I'm just saying if I'm a listener, if I'm a listener, you know, I want to say great morning.

Tracy Hayes.

Look, look, look at the YouTube page.

You see that he gave us a thumbs up.

I guess that means we're doing something right.

Cause you know, son, you know, I listen all the time, right?

And sometimes I just roll with you.

I don't know.

I just said that, you know, I want to say great morning to everybody on the YouTube page, the page that use the tube.

You know, you get what I'm going with.

Now, who are some of these people?

Let me say some of the names before we have to take care of some bills because, you know, I know what it is.

You know, you don't pay your bills.

You're going to be out here in the shed.

I'm just saying I've been living in the shed for a long time.

on the award-winning 101.7 The Truth, live on YouTube and 101.7TheTruth.com.

You're waking up to truth in the morning with Homer Blow and Bailey Coleman on the award-winning 101.7 The Truth, live on YouTube and...

1017 the

truth.com.

He played my

favorite song.

No, why would you do that?

Xavier, why would you do that?

That's a man of my own heart right there.

Xavier.

Yeah.

I'm not going to find

too many Xavier's.

I think there's a little Willie Nelson, wasn't it?

Yeah, a little Willie Nelson.

Yeah, well, you know.

Don't act like you don't know who Willie Nelson is.

Who?

Me?

You?

No, I just said it wasn't that little Willie

Nelson.

Yeah, you like that.

You know, so

you're bringing it out of

your house.

Y'all

may not be aware, but I did.

I was a supervisor for two country stations.

Well, actually more than two over the time period, like four.

Well,

I'll be

there.

All right.

I'll be

there.

Believe it or not, they have a country station in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Well,

how they should

know that's black people.

Well, we don't call

them

black people.

OK, but

hey,

we call them.

There's a lot of black.

You want

to know what we call?

No, there's a lot of black folk that do listen to country music.

You

know, I've been put out of places when I call them with the call.

Oh, what?

What you call them?

You know that word.

Go ahead.

OK.

Right in this show.

We

don't want no

problems up in here.

We already been sanctioned.

What?

That got you right back on where

you're supposed to be getting it.

Yes,

there we go.

There we go.

Maybe crossing

line.

Man, listen, I didn't mean to do that, but that was you.

No, I didn't.

You have to stop what you do it.

What did I do?

All

this, all this country crap.

Come on now.

Okay, let's go.

All right.

I didn't mean that.

Jasmine Good said, I love Willie Nelson.

That was my jam.

See.

Bailey

is not playing with bubble blow

that part right there.

Thank you very much.

Who said

that?

You're

right.

Right back

on topic.

What

was we talking

about?

Morning.

Love you appreciate you.

Listen,

I'm gonna go get everybody in trouble today.

I

did

nothing.

Huh?

I

ain't even do

nothing.

What?

Okay.

Yeah,

you

did.

Okay.

Anyway.

All

right.

Oh, Xavier.

We have a special interview coming up at 830 a.m.

Correct.

All right.

So tell us a little bit about it.

Well, it's a writer.

Carmen.

I'm a

second from the Milwaukee Courier.

Yes, I suck at pronounce a name.

So

I don't know about your last name.

But yes, he's coming in a 30 and should be a riveting interview.

Yeah, giving the history of the Milwaukee Courier.

Oh, that's gonna be great.

Yeah, absolutely.

So started in 1964.

Really?

Oh, wow.

So a lot of history, a lot of, you know, really given the news that other people wouldn't give you.

Right.

You know what?

That's right.

And and from our perspective, you know, as as black people, right, right.

And so and it was well needed because oftentimes, especially when it started, and we'll talk more about it with Carmen when she arrives.

Our voices weren't being heard.

Our stories weren't being told.

And so with the late Dr. Joe Jones, you know, he he done that.

Right with W and O V. So yeah, we'll talk more about it when we get our guests in here.

Uh, scheduled to get here at eight 30 may arrive a little earlier.

We don't know, but if either way goes, you're going to learn today, uh, about the Milwaukee career.

Oh yeah.

Absolutely.

Try

to try to let's see.

Uh, nurse iron Kawanda said, but she also still preparing her coffee.

So let's see what takes place after the sips.

My D say

Willie Nelson had to pay hundreds of millions in divorce He had it

When I think of Willie Nelson, I always think about him doing the we are the world was it we are the world thing.

Yeah

USA

for Africa

But

I

mean they

just had him there and the other country dude got mad and left And he was only out of Porsches.

I forget who the other dude

Willie Nelson was biogenics

you think Several

times I thought that he was you know, gotta be check it out.

I mean, how old is he

now?

It's the marijuana that's helping.

That's what I was gonna

say.

Well, that's the weed.

It's the cryogenics.

Yeah, even getting half a long time.

I mean,

look at stoop dog.

He isn't aged today.

Right.

And they both smoke in the same kind.

They hang out.

They have some crucial conflict.

Okay, he is 93

93 and he looks every bit

Baby, am I lying?

He

looked like a ghostbuster.

Listen, can you send that picture to Xavier?

Can you say that?

I'm going

to send it to him.

He looks like a ghost.

But he's alive, people.

He is

alive.

He is very

much alive.

Yeah,

and probably walk.

Well, he been

doing.

He still does it.

You know, he

still does shows.

Yeah, absolutely.

So, you know, we I guess, you know, we.

No,

no.

He.

You think it'll ever become legalized in Wisconsin?

Eventually.

Maybe David Crowley will push it through when he becomes governor.

Don't give them anything else to talk about.

Don't get these people.

And on the truth in the morning They confirmed that he will you know But

yeah

Yeah,

yeah,

you could you could definitely he Willie Nelson is an old he just I mean,

he's a survivor.

You know, 93

93

and yes,

he

is.

And God is right.

Most of the time when he's not smoking.

But then why did you highlight his picture like that?

What do you mean?

Does

he

know?

See, we should all be blessed and make it to 93.

I'll

be

blessed.

Maybe we all need to puff puff pass up in here because he made

it tonight.

We did at Bernie's.

Listen, he is still alive though.

He's still alive and doing well.

Absolutely.

We should all be blessed to make it to 93.

That's a long time.

But what I won't be able to say is that

he

aged

well.

No He's

gonna be on the road again

We

we got to come back with something serious, so don't worry about it.

We will come out of this I'll talk about what we're gonna talk about

Once we come out because I don't want to mix the two.

When we come

back,

I want to say put your phone black up Bailey so I can zoom in myself.

It's

up there.

You're listening to the award when he troops in the morning with the

legend.

We'll be black, I think.

Welcome, Black Truth Nation.

We, Rupert's King, we mentioned it on yesterday, Bailey, that there was a-

Over Kang.

Yeah.

Hmm.

There's a lot going on been going on over there.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Yep.

And now, you know, we were talking about the Rupert's King.

teacher,

right?

We were talking about

that.

We're charged in alleged assault.

Yeah, there was three 17 year old

students.

Yeah.

We did not know, you know, we knew no name or anything, right?

Whether they whatever at this city they were right or anything, but comes out to be that it was a black man.

And he was a band teacher,

not the band teacher,

the band.

The

band teacher.

Come on, y'all.

The band teacher.

Yeah.

What a

violation.

Yeah.

Yeah.

The

band teacher.

Because y'all, you know what?

A lot of times what y'all don't realize is when you're doing extracurricular activity like band, you spend a lot of time with the band teacher.

So that is not cool at all.

Yeah, that's just

because bands go on trips.

They do all that.

Yeah.

Cause

I was in there.

Yeah.

Exactly.

When you have, I mean, the band teacher is actually like a coach.

Right.

Absolutely.

So the band teacher,

the band teacher, we do have a video clip that we're going to play.

And then we'll talk about it more.

It's, it's, I don't, I don't know what is going on.

with some of those, the new generals, I guess we just call them the new generals because we didn't hear, as I was saying yesterday, we didn't used to hear about a lot of things like this happening at King, unless they just kept it under wraps.

You know what I'm saying?

Well, I think it would have came

out.

I mean, let's be clear.

These things, while they are touching.

the students, right?

I'm not saying in a physical sense, I'm saying it is, but it has nothing to do with their academics or who they are, the kids.

These are adult situations and adult things that have been happening

to

these kids at this school.

They weren't happening to those kids.

Exactly.

Exactly.

Exactly.

So I wouldn't say the new generals or put anything on.

the kids that are there, but the adults that are in this atmosphere need to straighten up and fly right.

It's part of the new generals.

Like some of these teachers, uh, I don't see when I end up hearing about, uh, some of these situations that are taking place that are unfortunately taking place.

I don't hear that.

It was, oh, that teacher has been near since I went to, you go, you know what I'm saying?

So it's new generals.

New

instructors.

Generals.

All right, Kawada said there's nothing general about King at all anymore.

Right.

And that's that's bad, but we're going to play this video so we can bring you up to speed and you'll be able to see who the person is, the band teacher,

band teacher

that is

wrong.

They are charged in alleged sexual assaults, sexual assaults of three 17 year olds.

Wow.

So we'll play that Xavier if you could play that clip.

I do find the length of time the number of victims to be concerning.

Also tonight concerns from the court as Antonio Kitchens, a Rufus King band teacher, faces three felony charges involving students.

TMJ4 News first broke this story on Friday.

Today we were there when that teacher went before a judge for the first time.

Our Mike Beermeister spoke with Raylina, the parent of a former Rufus King student who says her son had interactions with kitchens that left him uncomfortable.

This is Antonio Kitchens making his initial court appearance Monday.

The Rufus King High School band teacher is charged with two counts of sexual assault of a student by school staff and one count of attempted sexual assault of a student by school staff.

another concern here is the fact that we have not just one student but at least three.

One former Rufus King parent says the allegations brought back concerns her son had about kitchens before he graduated last school year.

I actually warned my son about Mr. Kitchen and told him do not be alone with him.

Raelina Windman says her son took extra trumpet lessons with kitchens.

She says kitchens once offered him a ride home and her son felt some of their interactions went too far.

He felt like a line was crossed when he made him uncomfortable because he was aware of what he had been through.

Windman says her family never brought those concerns here to Rufus King.

She says nothing happened that she felt she could act on.

But the criminal complaint details what three students later reported to investigators.

One student told investigators.

he froze during an alleged encounter and eventually began avoiding kitchens and banned altogether.

Another said he initially thought what happened to him was an accident.

When he later asked a friend whether anything had ever happened with kitchens, the response was you too.

MPS told families the reported behavior is absolutely unacceptable.

The district says kitchens is not currently working at the school and it's conducting its own investigation.

For windman, the charges are now warning to other parents.

We need to continue to make them aware and we need to stay involved.

So as a parent, stay vigilant.

Stay vigilant.

And the case could grow.

The criminal complaint says investigators have leads involving two additional potential victims.

Kitchens is scheduled to make another court appearance next week.

In Milwaukee, Mike Beermeister, TMJ4 News.

Crazy.

Wow.

With young boys.

Yeah.

Really?

Really?

You know, these individuals that prey on anybody.

And here we're talking about our youth, our students.

Yeah.

And now to also hear that there are potentially two more victims that may come forward

with.

So how, you know, that makes you wonder, OK, so.

How many others right outside of that are not coming forward?

Mm hmm.

You know, mm hmm.

How many others?

That that is.

It's crazy.

Um, let's see.

I needed a co said, see something, say something.

Uh, Dale Mack.

Great morning.

Love you.

Appreciate you.

So blow.

They need to take him to your island.

Yeah.

Annihilation Island.

Uh, I needed a co said, respectfully, I don't want to hear from a parent that said nothing.

There you go.

There's Aaron Kawanda said he looks slow his damn self and she should have said something.

So future kids.

Didn't have to experience this, but now you want to say something ignorant as a parent on her behalf.

You know, you think about it because some of these young people, they started avoiding band, which is something that kids like music, right?

When your child starts doing stuff like that, you got to be aware.

Absolutely.

You got to be aware.

Absolutely.

You know, why don't you like going there and sometimes.

The kids don't know how to say, even as they get older.

They don't know how to say what's bothering them.

You know, they don't know.

They just don't know how to express it.

But I always felt like this.

If he doesn't, my son doesn't want to do something or doesn't want to go somewhere or all of a sudden stops doing something that he liked to do or activity or something.

Right.

I go with it.

You don't want to do it anymore.

OK, cool.

Because you never know it could be something like this and they don't know how to express it or they're afraid to say anything or whatever you know, but

Yeah, I

mean no situation is perfect.

Yeah, and this is a shame it really is and just the fact that when you think about this and this is why in my opinion there are several more students that

may not even still go to King now.

Yeah.

Uh, that I believe that are going to have some revelations.

Yeah.

And the reason I say this is because, uh, Antonio kitchens, again, it said he served as the band and drumline teacher for several years.

Wow.

For several years and

that's

something to, to really think about because of these three, uh, 17 year old students can all come out.

You know, at this time, can you imagine how many other students may have had to go through this sexual assault and sexual abuse by a teacher?

And you know what, even if you just suspect something, you should say something.

You may not

have any.

You know,

and we know it's serious allegations But you still should say something if it was to your attention.

Yes, because there's so many people Bailey who may have suffered sexual assault or rape by Someone in the family and they don't say anything.

Yeah, and then there's other members in that family that may be going through the same thing.

Yeah, that and it's like

If you don't say anything, then you really do, in my opinion, you could be subjecting other people to go through it.

And then all of y'all have to come out and say, yeah, he did it to me.

She did it to me, too.

She did.

You know what I'm saying?

And the thing is, you know what?

If my son would have said something to me like a lot of kids are uncomfortable telling their parents.

So when your child comes to you, you got to do something.

And they got to know that you're doing something about it.

You felt uncomfortable.

What happened?

Yep,

you know

and and he definitely Allegedly prayed on these youth these students at the school because when it talked about Some of the things that he did the kitchens would sit next to a student place a laptop on the students lap

and use the black of his hand underneath the device to touch the students genitals.

Oh my

gosh.

Oh, no.

Oh,

no.

One student told investigators he froze during the first encounter.

He reported that the abuse kept happening, leading him to avoid the band program entirely.

The student believed the teacher targeted them because they are the kind of people to be quiet.

Wow.

the allegation surface after one student confided in a friend and later another teacher.

Another student realized the conduct was not accidental after asking his peer, has anything ever happened with you and Mr. Kitchens?

And the peer replied, you too, as you heard in the

report.

So we got to get ready to take care of some bills.

We are talking about this teacher, Antonio Kitchens, who is now charged for allegedly sexually assaulting three boy male students at Rufus King High School.

He's a band teacher, band leader.

And he's worked there for several years.

Yeah,

he's not currently working there and Yeah, just to hear some of the things that were going on the truth text lines are open eight three three two one two ten seventeen We've got Tracy Tracy great morning.

Love you appreciate you.

You hear the conversation.

What's your

truth?

I'm just, I'm just wondering if that lady after her son had that uncomfortable situation, she still should have reported that that way it would have been on record.

Absolutely.

Absolutely.

Absolutely

agree.

Had she reported that, we probably wouldn't be talking about this now.

Yeah.

Probably would have stopped right then and there.

Yeah.

That's all right.

I don't really like that because

I don't know if she's married and has a hearse in that home, but if a man would have been in that situation, that would have been dead right there.

See, that's why we need two people in the household.

If a man wouldn't have just let that go, he would have went up to school and had to talk to do personally.

And it would have ended right there.

But now we got three other children that have suffered because she kept her mouth shut.

That doesn't make

sense.

It really doesn't make sense.

And that's the part that upsets me.

You run your mouth all the time.

That's all, not all women, but most of them just be running their mouth while you didn't run it then.

That doesn't make sense.

I could tell she the type to be running her mouth all the time, but then when it comes to something real, she ain't gonna say nothing about your son and you ain't gonna report it.

All of the other students going there, you just let that ride and then you get on the news and tell people you had a talk with your son about it.

And that's as far as it went.

That is in

there.

Yeah.

It's part of that.

It's her fault too for keeping her mouth shut.

There was no reason not to report that.

I agree.

No.

Let them decide whether to go forward.

That's right means they would have had to question him.

Yeah,

he

probably wouldn't be working there.

Now look where we are all because I got a gold man that

just upsets me.

Y'all have a good morning.

Absolutely.

Thank you again and thank you for your support on our YouTube page as well.

But you know, Bailey, one of the things that I often bring up when people talk about the two parent household and you know, if the man had been there.

I always have to look on the side and the safety of the children if there are children involved.

Because sometimes that biological father is also the monster to those children.

Sometimes it may be the mother that is the monster to those children, the uncles that are the monsters to those children.

So I understand.

And absolutely do believe that having a two parent or two guardian household can help in raising children, boys and girls.

But all of those people don't need to be there.

There's a lot of women that may have had to raise their children or child by themselves because the person

that was not a good person to be around.

He may have been abusive to the mother.

He may have been overly abusive to the children.

So there are some reasons that we had to have some strong sisters that stepped in and did what they had to do to try to raise their child or children to the best of their ability.

Is it better, yes, to have a two parent?

you know household where you're doing that but sometimes when people say that I cringe a little bit because I'm like what was the situation was the father a drug addict was the father a drug dealer was the father an alcoholic

didn't have to be any of that

right

you don't have to be any of that

right so you know but if they are those things and we saying but y'all see that's why the fathers need to go black in there not if this person

is just as destructive to the family structure as some other people.

So I just, you know, I look at the full picture, but do I believe that you have a better chance of rearing your children when you are able to have two people?

Yes.

But I just do also know that there are a lot of women that were safe because they ended up saying, nope, I can't do this, not with this person.

Yeah,

and sometimes it's none of that sometimes mom and dad are better as friends Under one roof it doesn't have to be all of that from our YouTube chat All right Kawada says always tell people if you get a bad juju if you get bad juju vibes from someone as a kid and now as an overly grown

A adult, if I feel uncomfortable around someone, I speak and stay the F away, later what I felt to be right.

So in other words, yeah, if you get that feeling around somebody, and you know what, if you get that feeling around somebody,

I wouldn't allow my son to be around him either.

I'd be like, nope, I don't feel right.

I don't feel right.

And my son don't have to tell me nothing.

I know.

I see it.

I'm like, um, um, Dale Max said, I don't see how some people can turn a blind eye to situations like this.

Yeah, that was, that was bad.

It really was.

Cause you, you on, you're on television.

Saying that

you know saying basically yeah, there was something up with that and My son came to me and talked to me about and I told him just stay away from him.

What?

Does that sound right?

Not at all.

You know stay what and he offered him a ride home No, I Needed a call a child may be scared to speak

Oh, to speak up.

But there's no excuse for a parent not speaking up.

Monitor shifts in your children and ask questions.

That is so correct.

And there's no way that he felt my son would have felt that uncomfortable.

And I would have went up to the school and sat in their office and had time.

I had time.

I got time for that.

Right, right.

They'll know me as new.

I listen.

Miss Coleman out there in the lobby

How

long she's staying today till she speak to somebody mm-hmm the principal let's go you know, yeah, yeah Real time had his cop have those conversations because your child Needs

it's depending on you.

Yeah, and they need to see that you're doing something about that that you believe them

Yeah, you got to be there big

shout out to my girls a team to you.

There you go

You got to be your child's advocate ain't nobody gonna protect your child, but you ain't nobody go nothing

Yeah, yeah,

let's see here.

Let's see a

nurse.

I want to say the uncle who always gave me bad juju vibes

as kids

Going over there and as a kid you shouldn't be scared of an adult.

Yeah,

but he's

You're listening to Truth in the Morning with Homer Blow and Bailey Coleman live on the award-winning 1017 the truth.

Watch us live on YouTube and

1017thetruth.com.

We're gonna go We got more comments on the YouTube page, but we got out MKE on the truth talk text lines 8 3 3 2 1 2 10 17 Great morning.

I love you appreciate you.

You hear the conversation.

What's your truth?

My truth is I'm thinking it might be of some type of court Among you know teachers with this roof is king cuz somebody always touching on somebody at roof is king number two

If it's dealing with black children, that might be another reason why they do it because the law is very lenient when it comes on black children being touched.

And it was a study that black children have always been targeted because of that.

Our other thing I was thinking about too is what kind of connection that these people who's touching on these kids is having with the parents.

because I know back in the day some some of these parents would be pimping their kids out whether it was for dope or you know we energy bills to be paid so it makes me look at it like that and then the last but not least is wise always the kids you got midges over here on 15th and North Avenue giving their way for a bag of chips and a soda and a little nip dip.

So I don't understand why you want to touch on a little kid when you can go buy it and get what you want.

And then they also said that some of the people always size up the father to see if they can beat up the father.

Because if there's a father and the father looks strong and powerful, they won't mess with those.

But usually they mess with the kids who got the father who looks very, very

weak.

So do your own little research.

Have a good day.

All right.

Thank you very

much.

Um, you know, Bailey, we do have the criminal complaint.

You know, you know, Diego's criminal complaint.

Right.

So, um, I do have the criminal complaint.

I'll start to, uh, do let's get some more of these comments off of the, because we do have a guest coming up at 8 30.

So I want to get some more of our comments off our YouTube page, uh, before I dive into this criminal complaint and try to get in the best that I can.

Uh,

Let's see.

Where should we start?

After

nurse are in Kawanda's comment saying that the uncle with the bad juju vibes We got my D said cover up is crazy.

My cousin's son was from her brother's daddy Wow, yeah nurse are in Kawanda said Anita Nicole I spoke as a kid

and still do now because I refuse to sit in silence and my mama would tell me I always said so and I always said so and so gave me bad juju vibes and I did.

I don't care who you are.

That part.

My D said Homer fax fax fax no lies detected two grown people in the same house don't work most of the time.

Del Max said you write below because some of these fathers be molesting they own kids.

Yeah.

Deco said two sane parents.

They both can't be crazy in the house.

That part

that part.

Since here, Ronnie Ray Real said, I guess it's safe to say that coffee is kick off.

He is kicking in talking about me.

Del Mack, right?

Bailey, the party party to the crime.

Alfonso de Pris since sincere.

Oh, okay.

Let's see.

Lauren Taylor said on my mama the news tries to find the dumbest weirdest looking people to interview for their stories.

Yeah, she didn't look so crazy though.

Right.

That's why the words that was coming out of her mouth.

Was sounded crazy though.

I needed to call some parents have time for all the wrong things.

That's true.

Yeah, that's true.

That's very true.

And Anita Nicole, great comment.

When does it become aiding and abetting?

That's

true.

That's true.

That's that's a real charge.

I mean, she said, didn't that happen that was actionable?

Mm hmm.

But just the fact that he was uncomfortable like that.

It's OK.

Could signify something different, you know what I'm saying?

Mm hmm.

Because he might not tell her the whole thing.

Right.

How about that?

That part, that part, that part.

Yeah.

So what do you, what do you do from there?

What I'm going to do is start reading this criminal complaint and just remember the views and opinions expressed by the legendary Homer blow

and Bailey Coleman

does not reflect that of the Milwaukee black media and the truth one on one point seven FM.

Again, I will amend the way that I need to amend because again, we do have a guest coming up at 8 30 a.m.

So I'll start.

It's a four page criminal complaint.

So again, I will amend as best as possible while reading this particular criminal complaint.

I read them all the time.

So, um, state it was kind.

So if you are immediate family or friends of the defendant who is charged in this particular criminal complaint,

or you are immediate family or friends of any of the victims of this particular criminal complaint.

All of the information I'm disseminating is already of public record.

Yes.

So I'm not sharing any information that is not already of public record.

So with that being said, state of Wisconsin versus Antonio M. Kitchens, uh, date of birth, 8 10 98 count one sexual assault of a student by school staff.

The above name defended approximately October 1st, 2025 through October 15th, 2026 at 1801 West Olive Street in the city of Milwaukee did have sexual contact with WMA Data Burr 45 2009, a child who had attained the age of 16 years and was not the defendant's spouse, said child being enrolled in a school and said defendant being a member of that school staff.

Class H felony.

The defendant may be fine, not more than $10,000 or in prison, not more than six years or both.

And these first three charges are all the same charge.

So I'll just read the count and the initials.

Count two, same charge, sexual assault of a student by school staff.

He did have sexual contact with JLM, date of birth, one, seven, 2009.

uh, count three, uh, attempted sexual assault of a student by school staff.

The above name defended approximately May of 2026 at 1801 West Olive Street in the city of Milwaukee, Milwaukee County attempted to have sexual contact with T I W date of birth 11 19 2008, a child who had attained the age of 16 years old and was not the defendant's spouse or said child being enrolled in a school.

a class H felony, $5,000 fine, three years in prison or both.

Probable cause.

On October 15th, 2026, an officer was on patrol and was contacted by the principal of Rufus King High School, which is located at the above address of 1801 West Olive Street in the city and county of Milwaukee regarding a sexual assault of a student at that school.

The officer conducted minimal fact interviews of three separate students, all three of which were males under the age of 18, and thus cannot consent to sexual activity.

Their statements were all similar.

They each described that when the above defendant was their teacher, the defendant would be in a scenario where he was alone with them in the auditorium at the above address, going over grade slash schoolwork.

They all described that the defendant would be sitting next to them and would place one hand under a laptop and then put their laptops in their laps, then use the black of his hand to touch their genitals.

Police were also provided written statements regarding the incidents.

Interview of the principal, a detective made contact with the reporting principal.

Ms.

Bedillo and stated that the above defendant is the band and drumline teacher at Rufus King and has been teaching there for three to four years.

She stated that the defendant has access to the auditorium and room 122 and room 123 and his office.

Ms.

Bedillo stated that earlier on October 15, 2026, she had been contacted by the orchestra teacher.

who stated a student, Victim One, whose initials are WMA, had come forward saying the above defendant had touched him inappropriately over the clothes.

The orchestra teacher had described that Victim One told her the defendant would have an open laptop on the Victim One's lap and the defendant was touching his privates underneath the laptop.

The principal, Ms.

Bedillo, indicated she interviewed victim one and learned that there were other students making similar allegations.

It was also reported that the defendant was texting students.

Ms.

Bedillo described that all of the teachers received training focused on not being with students behind closed doors alone and not physically touching them and not texting them aside from communications through approved channels, which would be a school email and fair square.

Interview of Victim One, a detective made contact with Victim One.

Victim One stated that he plays an instrument in the band earlier.

His teacher, the above defendant had told him he was behind on his reflections and his absences.

The defendant then brought him to the auditorium at school and no one else was there.

Victim One stated the first time this happened was after marching season was over in October of 2025.

The defendant had a Chromebook.

Victim one had sat down and the defendant sat next to him on his right side the defendant put the Chromebook on victim ones lap But he kept his hand underneath it so that the black of the of his hands the defendant's hand was on top of victim ones private area which he later described as his clothes Yeah That the defendant then started keep me up on time because I still okay

All right, the defendant, Antonio M. Kitchens, then started moving his fingers around in a steady side to side.

And yeah, just then the victim stated, yes, some of these, I can't just finish saying it.

It's terrible.

Victim one stated he froze and he did not know what to do.

It ended when the defendant stopped and he told him he could go back to class.

Victim one stated it kept happening and this caused him to avoid the defendant and ban all together.

victim one stated the first time it occurred this school year was october 8th uh 2026 around third period which is from 1006 a.m to 1103 a.m victim one stated he was hanging out with some classmates when the defendant walked up to him while carrying a chrome book and started

and stated that they needed to talk about his absences.

The defendant took him to the auditorium again and did the same act as previously described.

Victim One stated that he told a female friend about this, and she encouraged him to tell someone.

Ms.

Johnson, the orchestra teacher was the first adult he told.

Victim One stated that his friend, Victim Two, had stated the defendant did this to him as well, and this had happened to both of them at the end of the last school year.

In 2026 victim one stated he believes there may be other victims and that the defendant picked them because they are both the kind of people to be quiet We got to take care.

Okay.

We got to

take

some bills.

Yeah, we got to take care of some bills and I'll come back to finish reading the criminal complaint for the teacher the band and music teacher drumline teacher

Antonio M. Kitchens, who is charged with allegedly sexually assaulting male students at Rupert's King High School.

Yeah, we got to take care of these bills.

I'm the legendary Homer blow along with my girl

Bailey Coleman will be black.

Don't go anywhere.

Truth in the morning with Homer blow and Bailey Coleman returns in just a moment on the award winning 1017 the truth.

Live on YouTube and 1017thetruth.com You're watching Truth in the Morning with Homer Blow and Bailey Coleman on the award-winning 1017th Truth YouTube channel.

moment.

Welcome black truth in the morning in the process of reading this criminal complaint for Antonio in kitchens.

He is the 28 year old music and band and drumline teacher.

Yes, formally of Rupert skiing high school.

He doesn't work there now, but he is charged with the alleged sexual assault of three.

students from Rupert's King.

And now they're talking about that there are more students that are coming forward saying that they too

may

have been victims.

He's been there.

He's been he was at the school for a long time.

Yeah, several years,

several years.

So

even when he thinking about this criminal complaint, the victim one was saying this started October 2025.

Right.

Through the last thing happening October

8 of this year.

Yeah.

Right that that's that's crazy like a couple weeks ago

a

week ago

So let me go ahead and try to get through this and Yeah, cuz it's Yeah, and again just understand people I believe that victims voices need to be heard.

Yes, just like

Bailey was saying, you know, our girl Samantha team till three, six, five, you know, we believe

you.

Yeah,

you feel no sand.

As often times, if you think about it in a lot of situations, whether it's this or any type of other abuse, the victims are criminalized often times and especially when you have different defense attorneys trying to be like, no, you didn't you do this, right?

You know what I'm saying?

So a lot of times these crimes.

Don't end up even making it to court.

Yeah,

because the victim feels like they will be made to be the guilty one.

Why didn't you do that?

What were you wearing when this took place?

All of those kind of.

Yeah, yeah, absolutely.

But so interview of victim to the detective spoke with victim to whose initials.

JLM victim to stated that the defendant is his band teacher.

and is the high school band leader.

Victim two stated at the end of the previous school year during finals week, which would have been June of 2026.

He was seated beside the above defendant in the auditorium talking about his grades.

The defendant was holding a Chromebook and then rested the black of the hand holding it up against victim two's groin.

Victim two described that initially he did not pay attention to this until the defendant started now.

You know that part.

Victim two stated he first disclosed to his girlfriend that this happened but told her he thought it must have been an accident He realized it was not an accident when a few weeks prior to this interview He had been hanging out with some friends including victim one He decided to ask victim one as anything ever happened with you and mr. Kitchens victim one replied you too Victim two stated a second incident occurred about two weeks later at the start of marching season

He stated this incident also occurred in the auditorium and the defendant had again been holding up a Chromebook and rubbed.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Uh, victim who, uh, when I'm saying that just means I'm not able to, I'm not going to tell you reading that part.

Uh, victim two stated that the latest incident had occurred at the beginning of this week.

He had gone to the defendant in the band room to discuss grades.

The defendant asked him about failing a class and told him to grab a Chromebook.

him and them Chromebooks.

Okay.

They went to the auditorium sat down the defendant held the Chromebook and victim to his lap and all of the craziness that you can think of took place with him to you and victim to had or had not done to commenting on grades and what else victim to had or had not done to improve them victim to stated he felt small and adjusted to move himself away about three times each time the defendant moved his hand.

And it lasted about 15 to 20 minutes.

A detective observed victim two to be uncomfortable and anxious while recounting what happened and he was visibly shaking and his voice was strained.

Coming to the last paragraph, a couple of paragraphs.

As to victim three, the detective was also directed to victim three.

who stayed victim three stated that the defendant is the high school band teacher and the defendant was his teacher for one semester the previous school year victim three stated that in May of 2026 at the end of the year near the end of the day he had been speaking with the defendant in the auditorium his spot I guess they had both been seated the defendant sitting to his right victim three stated the defendant had a chromebook over his

lap

And the same situations ended up taking place.

Victim three said that he had enough and got out of the chair and walked out of the auditorium.

At the time of the signing of this complaint, there are investigative investigation leads for two additional victims.

Wow.

End of complaint.

Wow.

Yeah.

If it made some of you uncomfortable, it should.

Because we need to be able to protect our children.

We need to be able to protect our teens.

We need to be able to have the hard conversations with our children.

Because they may be going through things like this, and if you are not ready to have those full-on conversations.

And what is sad is that one of the students did have the conversation.

And there was no follow through.

There was no follow through.

Yeah.

She didn't follow through.

That's sad.

That's sad for your son.

Yeah, that's a failure to her son.

This is crazy.

You know, it's mm, mm, mm.

I needed Nicole said, listen, pay attention and use your voice.

That part.

Mm hmm.

That part, that part, that part.

Like for real.

Jasmine Gooden said.

That's horrible.

See, I'd be catching the cases.

Right.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Absolutely.

Absolutely.

You know, um, let's see.

Somebody on the true talk text line said, um, think about it, y'all.

It's not that easy to speak up as a child.

It's not a child does not fully understand in the moment.

They're afraid of being labeled a snitch, getting teacher in trouble.

retaliation fear from a grown person.

Yeah,

I was bullied in middle school.

Took me a long time to tell my parents as a parent, you'll see something wrong.

You just have to continually.

You just have to continually ask your child, what is it?

Yeah, keep digging until you get it out of the child.

Yeah.

All right.

Kawanda said if I had a Chromebook, I would dispose of it right away now after hearing about all this BS.

Yeah, like, it's crazy.

Like again, because he continued to pray.

Yeah, Jasmine Jazz West, all those creeps knew exactly what school to go to.

It's sad.

Do we have a call?

Okay, we got Anita.

Anita, great morning.

Love you.

Appreciate you.

You've heard the sickness.

You've heard the receipts of the criminal complaint.

What's your truth?

Good morning.

I'll keep it brief because I know you all have the guests at 8 30.

But you know, as a as a former victim now, Victoria is full grown woman.

I always call in on this topic.

You know, it's not about saying the child needs to speak up because we do understand that that's a hard thing for a child to do.

What I'm saying is that parents, adults, community has to speak up.

You're running around seeing all these things, but you wonder why the teacher's doing TikTok videos with your kids and bringing them up.

Snacks and candy and oh, I have a special outing.

Um, you know, I want to take all the kids here I want to have a sleepover all these things Stop

trying to pass off your responsibilities to someone else because that person may not have your child's best interest at hand.

There you go.

And then all of a sudden your child is feeling like, oh, I don't want to do this.

I don't want to do that.

I don't like them no more.

I don't like that anymore.

Ask the question.

I, you know, even with my grandbaby, if she say, grandma, I don't want to go here or I don't want to go there.

Okay.

Hold on.

Now what we, what we doing?

We're here.

Right.

We don't talk.

What, what, what's going on?

And, and, and a parent may say in general, oh, they just don't like structure.

Oh, they just being back.

I don't care what you say.

I'm asking this child.

We don't

and then I'm coming back to ask you.

We don't have a conversation.

So I'm not saying all situations are bad, but I'm just saying ask the questions involved because you never know.

And the long term mental impact of abuse.

Yes.

If you haven't experienced it, I cannot explain to you the detriment.

the destruction, the self-destruction, all the things that takes years and years and years and years to heal, only when you get counseling, only when you go to therapy.

So you're sitting around here with all these angry children, bitter children, violent children, insecure children, depressed children, children that want to unalive themselves, and everybody up here tick-tocking and let's go, you know, doing all this goofy stuff.

Like, get your head out of the internet, get the tablets and the devices out of your kids and stop letting them chit chat with people they don't know, how you got 35,000 friends, but you don't talk to nobody in person.

Just get it together.

I'm going to let y'all go because I could keep going, but everyone that have experienced it and know that you can overcome.

You can be successful.

You can do all the things.

You can be an advocate.

You can move in silence and be an advocate or you can be outspoken and be an advocate, but just know you will come through and you will come out and for the parents dealing with this.

do your job, you go to counseling, you get some help, so you know how to help your child.

Thank you.

Thank you.

God bless you.

All right, we got to take care of some bills.

It'll be time for I guess when we return.
