Great morning, True Nation.

Welcome to Truth in the Morning on the award-winning 1017 FM The Truth.

We are broadcasting live from the American Family Insurance Studio on the heart of downtown at the Avenue.

I'm the legendary Homer Blow along with my girl.

Bailey

Coleman.

How you doing and feeling this morning, Bailey?

I am wonderful this morning and I have to tell you something, Homer.

What?

I did something so cha-cha-foo-foo this weekend.

That's news?

Yeah, I truly

was I mean I truly

came into yourself you I

truly did something

so

I Did something so shea shea foo foo this weekend.

I was like came into your zen.

I sure did.

It was a Zen moment.

What was it?

What was it this time?

This time I Wouldn't had lunch with a friend at the fister That is very yes

Shae Shae Foo Foo.

Yes.

Yes.

Very much.

Could have went to any other place and had lunch.

Any other place.

Absolutely.

Supported a black owned what the business is business.

I could have but I did support black people.

Uh huh.

Because most of them were.

It was almost a black owned restaurant.

Almost doesn't count.

It's the number one song.

Very black up in there.

Yeah.

So okay.

How was the view?

It was lovely.

Yeah.

It was lovely.

Yeah.

Okay.

I just went to the cafe.

Even the way you see it.

They just went to the cafe and had a light brunch.

Yes.

I did.

That is Shea Fufu.

Very much so.

I'm so glad that you did.

And I had to

call it out.

I had to call it as it

was.

That's good.

That's good.

That's good.

You know.

With one of my home girls and it was, you know.

That's a beautiful thing.

Yeah.

When people come into there, you know.

Accountability.

Yes.

Self-accountability is amazing.

There it is.

And I

hung out with one of my very she-she-foo-foo friends.

Here we

go.

So, I mean...

Is that why you were at the she-she-foo-foo spot?

Because of a she-she-foo-foo friend?

Well, yes.

Well, you know, that she suggested and yes, yes, I wouldn't write along.

All right.

That'll be a wonderful afternoon.

All right.

Yes.

And it was a wonderful afternoon.

It was.

No, it was delightful.

Was there anybody talking loud?

No,

no.

You already smelling like marijuana?

No, they would not allow that in there.

Really?

No, I'm just saying not smoking it, but you don't come in smelling like it.

They won't allow that.

I'm sure not.

How do they discriminate?

That is their sign.

Like some places may put up the same.

No, they don't have to put up a sign.

It's it's implied.

Ah, because of the Shea Shea Fufu environment.

Milwaukee's only would fit in, right?

Right, I'm just saying the people that do that

people did do that.

Yes, but you know you fit right in and hey, how are you?

Had a wonderful afternoon.

Yeah, you had some great conversations

I did and there were many other African-Americans there and we all

talk great

We we all nodded to each other

great

Okay,

it's still black.

Okay.

Okay.

You know, that

may be where Sherwin goes.

Yeah,

I could see him up off in the cut in there.

Yeah.

As he said, you know, I go at lunchtime because then it won't be a lot of people.

Well, I said on the air.

Yeah, you know, they didn't call you out.

No, but you know, that may not be where he

goes.

Hmm.

Yeah.

He'll

they have security up in there.

Sherwin can go.

I mean, he might take a few politicians and they may be like, sir, your face is on our do not serve.

What are you talking about?

I'm just saying, you know,

I've seen the list.

He's not.

No, he didn't make the do not service.

However, your cousin and them they own

there.

Okay, your cousin in him.

Okay.

That's all.

So

it says your cousin and them and

you know, what's what's even funnier with that, right?

I ended up seeing like, you know, because I can't catch it like when we're on, right?

Right.

What is it?

The true talk text line.

Okay.

But I was, you know, I was able to go black.

Yeah.

Some of the comments.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah.

So it was a person that ended up making a comment from me talking about Taekwondo.

You don't know.

No dough.

And, uh, not stick devil, uh, at 730 a.m.

on that morning, I screenshotted it and said, uh, I didn't do it that day.

I went, remember, I told you, it's such a long thread or whatever.

So you had to jump to this and jump to that.

And, uh, he said, Taekwon without the dough, because he lacks discipline.

Do who means discipline great play on words.

So they caught it.

They caught it because that's what I was

going with.

Yeah.

Yeah.

I climbed without the dough.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Absolutely.

Without the dough because he likes discipline.

So yeah, that's what I said.

So yeah, it was it was funny to see that comment.

So it was like, yep, you're gonna learn today.

You're gonna learn today.

also over the weekend busy but great weekend of course there was a Garfield R&B and Blues Festival okay so you know because it's not two days so they finally changed it and just saying instead of saying it's Garfield days everybody gonna call it that just like when we had African World Festival and people were still saying afrofest you know two different entities

I was, I wasn't really invited to that festival.

It's a long story,

but

okay.

Now, back in the day when it was Afrofest, yeah, I was shot it out.

Well, shall I proceed?

And I know it didn't have nothing to do with you being Shae Shae Foo Foo.

I was very black, but

I was not.

Okay, I'm trying to compose myself.

But anyway, so it's where I was going with it was I had to and I brought it up on the air that

the American Black Holocaust Museum.

Right.

I was there, you

know,

doing live broadcasts and Facebook live.

Right.

For the 50th year celebration.

Right.

For Howard Park Neighborhood.

And I was blessed to have.

Of course, we started out with Brad Pruitt, who is the executive director of the America Black Holocaust Museum.

Great morning to you, Brad, and all of your team over there.

So talk to him with what the...

America Black Holocaust Museum is and why people can come down.

And it was free while I was there for three.

So you could come in and take a tour.

And people did that.

They did that.

And then we talked to all the women, Malalee A. Cox, just talking about the history of Howard Park neighborhood.

Because it's a black owned subdivision.

You feel I'm saying like it was created by black people BTO Brooks and I was able to talk to his daughter.

I interviewed his daughter Cassandra Brooks as well as and of course she was there since the inception right of the How Your Park neighborhood and it's the association they have now and also Lenny Mosley

She's been there for 46 years

of the

50 years.

And so to be able to talk to her and then Tasha Freeman, who is on the planning committee for the 50th year celebration, which is taking place on September 19th.

And it will be first, it will be a unveiling of the statue of B.G.O.

Brooks on 6th and Howard.

So that'll be happening at 11 a.m.

And then at I believe it's noon to 1 30 they're going to do Or it might be yet noon to 1 30.

I believe There's going to be a hello neighbor where you'll get to go and just tour the whole how your park

neighborhood and speak to the neighbors that have been there for a long time.

Some of the new neighbors.

So it was great.

It was an awesome experience.

A lot of great knowledge and history was passed out.

And of course, the Garfield R&B and Blues Fest did what it does.

So it was a great situation and a lot of great food.

But I had to leave once I got done with my broadcast at 3 p.m.

You know, by, by the time I packed up by like three 30 or whatnot, I had to get down to the UWM student union ballroom for the city of Milwaukee department of community and wellness safety.

They had their second annual survivors of violence, Gala.

And yeah, that went from five PM to nine PM.

And.

That was a shout out to Karen Tyler who

was

the director and to all of the staff of the Department of Community Wellness and Safety for putting on an elegant event, of course Sheena Scarborough They they gave out some awards and you know people had to nominate people but Sheena Scarborough was one of the recipients and she is the mother of Shardae Robinson, okay, you know and

You know, so in Leah Hortman was the keynote speaker done a phenomenal job and just all of the people that were recognized and shouted out at that particular event.

They had a great dinner prepared for them as well.

So it was a great event.

So I had to go and do that and it was an awesome time.

So I appreciate shout out to the whole team for y'all putting that on for the second annual.

It was an amazing event and I was proud to be a part of it.

So yeah, it was a lot.

It was a lot going on in the city this weekend.

You most had its Mexican Independence Day Parade.

I saw County Executive David Crowley was there.

Yeah, shouting it out.

That was a great time.

That was

a great time.

Absolutely.

I love to go out there once a while and just take it in.

Right.

They had a bunch of vendors and everything.

It was nice.

Yeah.

Nice to about five minutes right through there.

You know how we do.

Yeah, in and out.

In and out.

So that was a great time.

No disturbances.

Okay.

That's that's a good thing, right?

No, I

wasn't wondering.

No, no, no, there wasn't.

I'm just saying.

Plains crashing and stuff.

Plenty things happen this weekend.

Did you?

Yep.

Folks, planes crashing.

Yeah, we'll talk about it.

It's ironic.

It's almost to the end of almost just a little past the anniversary, huh?

You just a little

bit of 9 11.

Well, I don't even think it was that.

I think

it was.

I think it was his his version of

we're going to take care of some bills.

OK.

Listen, because what we're not going

to do is

I know I'm nicely going to take care of these bills.

OK, because it's that time.

I agree.

You're listening to the award-winning 1017 FM.

I am the legendary home of blow along with my girl.

You know, Sherwin, he's, uh, Sherwin could be in his own way.

You know, he's brutal and blunt, but also, you know, he has some, you know, ghosts go on time now.

Go sit, go sit down.

He was like, what?

I just told the truth.

You tell me where I lie.

See, Homer, you know I'm not lying.

That's why you said it, Homer.

That's why you said it, because you know I'm not lying.

You know, I'm like, sir, win.

And he even talked about, I heard everything he was saying about me.

Oh, yeah, I was listening.

Now Blake Gump ended up saying, uh, good morning, family.

They shut the block down by putting the police cameras in the middle of the block weather in the middle of the block weather.

Uh, and you say, okay, I'm just trying to get where, uh, okay.

Why?

Why are

you?

Because I can read.

Anybody that has a problem would be doing that.

You know, listen, I'm proud of my MPS education and I can read.

I was one of those ones that coming up

was what

it was determined.

Like when I was in a lower grade,

you part of the seven percent.

Oh, turn

that around.

I can't believe.

He got me crying in here.

Come on.

Come on.

Stop it.

You are.

Listen, that was stealth.

This is what I mean when I say Bailey is stealth.

She goes into stealth mode without any warning, without any warning.

And it's like, see what I did there?

Without saying it.

So, but he has said, okay, so let me start his comment.

And it's important that I do this as a reason.

Okay.

So he said, good morning, family.

They shut the block down by putting the police cameras in the middle of the block weather.

and then disappear hit.

Then he said, young man was deceased, been quiet all weekend.

I'll pass the hotel safe.

Huh?

Yes.

Thank you.

Exactly.

I'll pass the hotel safe.

Uh, so good morning family.

They shut the block down by putting the police cameras in the middle of the block weather.

Weather

yeah, w e a t h e r that spells weather.

Yeah,

so like and then

like weather as in rain

John Milan

Yeah,

he ain't got

nothing to do with Blake's hair rollers and his

scarf

I'm just trying to figure out.

Remember the picture

we shot.

Hey, David, can you pull up that picture?

Oh my

goodness.

The picture of Blake Gump with the bandana on.

Oh my goodness, listen.

I thought that was a scar.

It was, what should I call it?

A bandana.

You know, anytime it has the germ disease, you know, that's what germs look like.

That's what those little things on that scar for bandanas like that.

It's up.

It's

up.

It's up.

Blake.

So am I lying?

Listen

at what part of my life

listen, okay, hold on keep it up

rollers on underneath there.

He said it himself

Put the police cameras in the middle of

Now what

happened

was I just came like, okay,

I

was riding right I was I was driving you know, so I drive I drive

and

I do my job right so I

Everybody you know I was as a matter of fact I was going to

look at the picture

he

got a roller out in the back is blue

It's been quiet all week.

It's been quiet all weekend.

Exactly.

Do you see the Roller in the back?

Pass me a couple of Kleenex.

I got right here.

Do you

see the Roller in the back?

Who sees the Roller

in the back?

Hold on.

See?

There it is.

I don't know what you are doing.

I see it.

So I know if you on YouTube and Facebook live.

Yeah, you getting one right now.

Listen, so

I

was No, see I

sent it I listen Like when I okay, they said they were

black and blue

rollers boom see That's what

I see Because I said

that there's black and blue.

Hold on one.

I'm sticking out Gonna fix myself up here.

I don't want to be on

TV looking crazy.

But I synced it.

I synced it with my own eyes.

And then I had to say, oh, Lord Jesus, it's a fire.

I got bronchitis.

And so I just I just packed everything up and I went to the hotel.

And that's where I was.

I resided at the hotel.

But then when I got back home, I ended up seeing.

that they don't put the cameras on.

Blake said he ain't no shucking and jiving brother.

They done put the cameras out there

and they was in the middle of the street.

I couldn't even drive home.

But I went home

because I feel safe.

Uh-uh.

You better leave Blake alone.

I know.

Blake's gonna call in.

He's gonna be.

He

said he

ain't no shucking and jiving dude.

I just

know that.

That's what I say.

It's just a shucking and jiving picture.

It looks.

No, but you look like the usual black person that they

catch the

camera.

That's where we at.

You look like the stereotype.

Blake,

before you go out

there, comb your hair out.

I was

getting my head together for the next day.

That's what it was.

He was getting your hair together.

See if Bailey had to have that picture brought up we wouldn't have went through a whole damn segment Talking about Blake gum

Was that right though and the rollers was in there to prove I wasn't lying Y'all saw the rollers.

We get ready rolling char break.

We're about to roll into our

meeting Nicole

you

saw that you saw jazz

Jazz

West, you saw it.

Y'all

saw

it.

The rollers was in Blake's head.

And then he got some rest this past weekend.

Hills got tired today.

Absolutely.

Listen, we're going to take care of Hills.

And we don't come back.

We don't talk about the plane.

We're going to talk about the Packers losing.

The first

game.

The violent reckless driving that is continuing.

and some of these new bump outs.

Oh, it's going to be a lot more.

I

can't roll

over something.

Okay,

Welcome black to truth in the morning on the award winning one on one seven FM.

The truth.

You're about to talk about the plane.

Is that what?

No,

no.

Okay.

Well, welcome black.

I think we good.

Bailey are we good?

We're

good.

Okay.

We can talk about the fact that Packers, we lost game one to a rival, the Minnesota Vikings.

And if people want to

know

my thoughts and opinions on it and then I'll let Bailey give hers, we lost.

Okay.

So that's it.

I ain't giving no excuses.

I don't do that.

If we lost, we lost.

Okay.

So but Bailey,

we lost.

Who's the coach?

I don't know.

Matt LeFleur.

Okay.

You know, we still know Mike homegirls name and then the other dude after him and the other dude after him sure

when I'm

like

On this tape, we don't know the coach's name.

We barely know who Jordan Love is.

And I think we need to keep that that way because neither one of them looking good.

Neither one of them looking good.

All right.

How'd my team do

that?

How'd the Seahawks

do?

Let's see.

Oh, they

they won.

They won.

Yeah.

OK.

Wednesday when they've done the Wednesday game.

OK, good.

Yeah, they won.

OK, cool.

They did.

So as long as they keep winning, they're going to be my team.

Packers start winning and I'll jump back.

You wanted a bandwagon.

I'm a real one.

At least I keep it above board.

There you go.

Yeah.

However, I do want to say, I don't know their coach's name, neither nothing.

I don't know they quarterback name.

I don't know nothing in people.

The the Indiana Bears ended up.

making history with 59.

They still in Chicago right now.

Go on now with that blow.

Go on

now.

The Indiana Bears.

The Hammond Bears, the Bernstein Bears, all the Bears, Grizzly Adams

Bears.

But yeah, they ended up setting the NFL record with points 59 points.

in their win.

Wow.

So but yeah, but yeah, the Packers we lost.

Yeah.

Again,

you know,

that's why I'm going to be

honest.

I get so involved

that I

had to become a bandwagon jumper because

my

feelings get hurt when they lose like that.

And then I'd be mad all week.

And you know how that that's

what it

does, especially here in Wisconsin.

Yeah.

I mean, just bad moves.

You're going to have so many people run up to people that are Packer fans and be like,

Skull!

You're going to get

Skulled

in.

You're going

to get

Skulled in if you

keep doing

that.

Listen, the Brewers are my team now.

They lost.

They did.

But

they already

got their spot in the playoffs.

We ain't even got to worry about it.

That was just

the whatever.

And two more games, they can end up clinching.

There it is.

There it is.

And we're doing it all over again.

We got

a

nice run.

The Brewers.

Yeah.

Yeah.

And they play here in Milwaukee.

Absolutely.

And I've been to several games.

There you go.

Well, I've been to several Packer games, too.

So I'm not gonna, you know,

I've been to.

Some.

The first Packers game that I went to, I learned a valuable lesson.

I, you know, I drove all past Lambo Field, but it never went in.

And a lot of the.

Packers would come down to the original city club.

Okay.

And party would be

OG city club.

Yeah.

And, uh, and so I, and they would come to deviate and stuff like that.

So I knew a lot of the players and then some of the other clubs as we went on.

And, uh, so I got to know a lot of them.

They would always invite me to, uh, the QBs and all of that and some of the, the star players.

And I just was like, okay, I'm gonna come one day.

Okay, I'm gonna come one day.

And then I was like, I finally decided to take them up on it.

And I went to a game and, you know, I don't know what type of blood that those people that don't have shirts on when it's cold outside.

So I went to one of the fall games.

Better call it winner.

Right.

Right.

And, you know, so I didn't know I'm like, okay.

How do you just sit on this little piece of cold nettle?

How do you do that?

And then I saw the other people with the little seat black.

They'm like, well, how much it owes, you know what I'm saying?

And so then I learned my way around it.

But first, and it was just so cold and I would get up and go into the bathroom just to try to get warm.

Right.

And then come black out and try to bear with it.

But yeah, it was a tough game for me the first time I went.

Each time I went, we won.

Okay, so that was a plus.

Okay.

I've also been there at a game where when they have had a thunderstorm.

Yeah,

they passed over.

Oh, yeah.

I did not know that they clear out the whole Lambo field.

You're looking like ants.

Yeah.

Like when you look across to see what was sold out.

And everybody is in the little cubby hoes like waiting to get the all clear, but they don't play about it.

Like if it's lightning and all of that, they don't play.

They get you out of here.

So I was able to, you know, experience that.

So I experienced extreme cold.

Yes.

Experience being caught with a brief thunderstorm.

Right.

And then I experienced some nice weather games as

well.

Okay.

So yeah.

So more than four.

So that's why you know some yeah, so I couldn't say I went to a few because that's usually reflecting about three so some Or a little bit more than some whatever case maybe I went supported them and They were all times that they won.

Okay

me too.

Yeah, so that's a great thing, but yeah Win or lose that's I am with it.

We either win we lose it is what it is right now.

Let's go to the plane the plane

Wait a minute.

Hold on.

We're talking about hold on hold on to the football thing G famo seven said Bailey proud of her Seahawks, but are you proud of home?

of home them white T people jumped on the black man at the game.

I saw that there's a footage of

uh folk trying to fight this black man I think I want to say I'm proud of him he held his there was like 89 people trying to get on him

and

he handled them all that brother need to be in uh the uh WWE or something because he handled them all and listen Homer really only hit one person

Right.

And that person came and hit him in his face first.

Right.

And and he took that.

It was just like, you know, so I got to get you.

No, I'm not proud of that, but I will say this.

Seattle is far more liberal and accepting of people of color.

Then Wisconsin

and that is just straight up.

Blake Gump said he's worked eight packer games as the end zone security.

I knew he did.

We're going to go.

I

heard it was there when they built Lambo.

I'll be honest.

I'm not.

I'm going to the truth.

Call in line.

I'm

just

saying.

I'm going.

He was

he

was

there when they built Lambo,

the new edition.

Curly Lambo and all that.

Really?

I'm just I'm OK.

This is too much.

So when they had the little weird looking Yeah,

okay,

okay, Blake up.

Yeah,

I'm not going to give in we got Miller Great morning.

Love you appreciate you Miller said eight three three two one two ten seventeen.

What's your truth with the

Packers?

And I know this is going to irritate a lot of people.

But y'all win all of the 70s and all of the 80s.

Didn't win one game.

Now y'all think y'all supposed to win all the games.

Y'all win two, 20 years without winning hardly no games.

Now when y'all lose a game, it's like, oh, we lost the game.

Y'all didn't

win

none.

They ain't supposed to win, right?

20 years would win in maybe four games.

And now you feel sold out Lambo Field losing and all.

Now y'all act like y'all supposed to win all the time.

I'm confused.

Thank you, Millicent.

We love you.

We appreciate you.

We got to

take it.

She's

She's

With that, we'll get Ray, take care of some else.

Yeah, let's see too.

Bailey Coleman.

We got to talk about the plane, the plane.

Yeah, we're gonna talk about

when we come

back.

All

right, we'll be black.

Again, legendary home with Blow along with my girl.

Bailey Coleman.

All right.

Now, the plane.

The

plane.

The plane.

You remember?

That was Hervé Villiches, right?

And then, Fantasy Island.

Yeah.

Put the hammer down.

It's not a hammer.

It's a gavel.

Okay, whatever.

You're playing.

You're playing.

Boss, you're playing.

Put the hammer

down.

It's the gavel.

Whatever.

Okay, what do you have, Bailey?

Tom Tiffany's plane went down.

Okay, yeah, we know

that.

He had to swim to shore.

He had

to swim to shore.

And he had some minor injuries,

right?

Minor injury like a little he got he got

stitches above his

eye.

Okay

All right, so we good put the gavel down now.

Yeah, what that happened Saturday night or something Sunday.

Yeah yesterday I think it was Saturday.

Wasn't it?

I believe so.

I was working.

Yeah, I wouldn't

Why

are you threatening me

with that thing?

I'm not.

I just raised my arm up higher so you can hear the impact.

You're waiting.

You're just waiting.

I'm not going to say anything.

I'm

not going to say anything.

I mean, I think that is convenient timing.

I'm going to say that I'm going to ask if if the stitches

Are anything like Listen Will you remember when the president had like the grazing of the bullet or whatever And he had That was a Band did

of sorts.

Okay.

I'm keep I'm trying to think I'm going slow because I'm keeping it clean people.

I'm thinking we're thinking real time here.

So I'm just thinking it was kind of like the bandage he had on his ear.

Is that it?

just saying

minister Kevin said it was the only gimmick left after the orange man used to shot in the ear tree

shot in here so I mean are we thinking this are we you know I want to say this okay so then the accident or whatever was announced right you know you got to watch these things how they have fold right and so then of course the

Best thing for David Crowley to do is say, oh, wow.

Um, I hope he's okay.

I'm glad it seems like he's okay.

Blah, blah, blah.

So he puts out a positive sort of, wow, I'm praying for him and his family type deal.

So he keep his name out there.

So, oh boy, don't suck up all the air, right?

And then all of a sudden, after that happens.

And oh boy realizes, oh wait a minute, he can press off of my press.

Then all of a sudden I had to swim 80 miles.

And I had to get stitches right here.

See?

That's when everything and now today's thing is they're getting today's story is how they're going to get the plane out of the water.

That's today's story.

How they're getting the am I lying?

Y'all.

Y'all tell me

if I'm lying.

You're not.

No lies.

So he's

trying to take up several news cycles on a story that I mean

It was an accident.

Okay.

I'll take that.

But he tried to take a 10, 15 news cycles on this one story.

And why was he flying from Warsaw?

Where is that in Wisconsin?

And why were you flying from there?

You know?

What is that?

No.

Drive.

You're in Wisconsin.

Why are you flying?

to get in the car and drive.

Land based trips.

That's what it is.

That's what it is.

Get you a bus.

If you got enough money for a plane, you can get your campaign

bus.

Yeah, using all the tax money as Jasmine Jazz West said.

Yeah, get you a little bus.

You can get a van if you don't want to spend all that money.

Get you a van and drive across Wisconsin.

Keep it land based.

My suggestion.

Y'all know I ain't lyin shout out to our YouTube our YouTube chat

Kevin said we gators in the lake He had to swim right yes

50 miles, I'm sorry, okay

a few feet

That's all I have to say help me

all

right.

I'm

leaving it so that was Bailey's my rent rent

Go ahead.

Okay.

All right.

So let's go to, uh, and you know, prayers to him and his family.

Yeah, absolutely.

There were, um, a lot of reckless driving that has been,

Oh, you ain't got nothing to say about that.

I said, I'm like, I

know you

guys,

what are your comments Homer?

What are your comments on that?

What are you thinking?

I'm thinking that again, there was an accident.

I'm praying that.

That again for I'm praying for his family.

Okay.

I'm praying for him.

Okay.

I am

like a recovery.

I

hope the stitches heal.

I hope they're dissolvable so they don't make a mark.

What?

See baby, I won't say all of that.

I'm not I wouldn't even try to say all of that.

What are you saying Homer?

I'm saying you said it all.

Did you think it was convenient?

Huh Do you think this is an effort to you know sway some boats

make it make everybody feel like oh

it appears to be a real accident okay you know there's all the things that come along with it uh-huh

well i mean president trump's was a real accident too

see bailey

what the orange man listen

bailey what are you on this one now i expect to hear sure wouldn't you

i know man i'm trying to hear you had a

You had a whole lot to say about this.

Yes.

When the mic was off.

So let's hear it now.

Let's hear it now.

Come on.

Let's hear it.

Y'all see what y'all see what he doing.

How you laughing?

Why are you laughing?

Come on.

So let's see.

Come

on.

There's there's inside business.

There's outside business you're listening to truth in the morning You know

what you know what you know, let's go start coming up on the on the YouTube chat

You you wish any they don't know they

go say Homer's a Republican y'all didn't know that.

Oh All right.

All right.

Is that what it is?

Hey, wait, I got Crowley shirts coming.

Oh

No,

and he was at the grand opening.

Oh, that's the other thing.

The grand opening of

fish.

You see how

he tried

to move the subject away from talking

about the grand masterpiece.

Right.

Right.

Right.

Right.

Masterpiece.

Y'all see how he just

we got to take it.

Now, he don't want to talk about it.

They don't want to talk about it.

You see how that go.

Y'all see.

Y'all see how this goes.

So now you remember the next time I don't want to talk about something.

Oh, I bet you.

No,

you don't know you don't know you never do.

No,

you know, you said I deserve my comment.

I know, I know, but you're like break time.

Okay,

David.

Go ahead.

You're

listening to the award winning one on one seven after the truth.

I'm the legendary home or blow along with girl.

I express myself.

Bailey Coleman.

We'll be black.

You are listening to truth in the morning on 101 7 the truth the truth app and streaming live on 101 7 the truth on YouTube

If you were supposed to be at work at 8 a.m Welcome black to truth in the morning We were ending the hour The 7 o'clock hour with Bailey pressuring me.

No

feel.

Uh I feel and pray that this wasn't a ploy to do

like the orange man.

Yeah, to do like the

orange man has, you know, done.

So I'm not.

Don't you feel better?

Yeah, I'm not laughing at it, but I just hope

because

we've seen them do it.

Yeah,

we've seen situations that we know are very, very serious and it definitely will pull at the heartstrings of people to be like,

Oh, wow.

You know, so you will be like, oh, wow.

So, you know, he done this.

He he been through that.

And see, we got to support him now

to the

other.

And that's that's the part that that I fear because that works for a lot of people.

Yeah, it

does.

It works for a lot of people when they see and hear things like that.

It's like, all right.

And then after the fact and no, this is not become a situation that we have with Tom Tiffany.

But as of now, but we've seen where this has happened and then people turn it into it may be in a commercial even.

You know, he, you know, this is how hard he'll fight for you.

You

know,

right?

He

swam

to shore or this, that and the other.

And so I just don't want that to happen because we've seen it happen in my opinion in the Republican Party before with the leader of our country.

There's been

so many incidents.

At least two incidents prior to the election.

Right.

So, you know what I'm saying?

So, forgive me if I put it against, you know, like I'm not standing on okay.

Yeah, I see the wound and that's why I say, you know, I'm praying for him.

I'm praying for his family.

But yeah, I just don't want this to.

I mean, forgive me if I'm being a little cynical about

it.

Yeah.

Yeah.

But I mean, timing and everything.

Yeah.

But it's it's like that because we've been hoodwinked and bamboozled

before.

And

so it's

a sensitive situation, in my opinion.

So we're like, because in.

Everyday life in my opinion.

Mm-hmm.

There is nobody that we would end up saying Did this really happen right?

So we've been given reason

right

to feel like how far will some people go?

So I just can only pray that that's not this situation.

It was a real Untimely situation

that

happened and he was able to survive

and that's great.

Yeah, so but yeah, we we have seen it from the top person

Right.

And close to election time.

Yeah, absolutely.

You know, so forgive if some people feel like, no, no, because like I say, there's several

other

situations that have happened in history and nobody had to say, no, no.

Exactly.

I don't know.

Exactly.

So

the way people are manipulating political situations these days.

Yeah.

All of these things that you would never think of coming to play.

So you have to understand why people for example such as myself are a little cynical about it.

Yeah

By the

way y'all want to do a cup check.

It's uh Nothing like a good book cup today, and I drank all my coffee.

It was just coffee.

I'll let you know I'll let y'all know

So there you go sincere Ronnie Ray real great morning.

Love you appreciate you again to everybody on our YouTube page

But yeah, so that's the situation and Sherwin Our numbers have went up another hundred people so

see there you go show on our

YouTube page

see

yeah, so it works because me and Bailey we be doing

we do we do our part

Yep,

y'all need to do y'all part.

That's it.

That's it.

Like

and subscribe.

Yeah, like and subscribe every morning

y'all

All right, maybe I, maybe I overdid that.

You know what I'm talking about.

So anyway,

yeah,

but yeah,

so I ain't gonna talk about show because I've been a subject to too many of his shows.

Yeah, yeah, he

is

an attack.

I'm about to start singing that Mariah Carey song.

You got that song Xavier.

Why are you so obsessed with.

So I have been the topic of his show several times with

you guys want to

smoke.

Huh?

Sounds like you guys want the smoke.

We don't want the smoke, but you have been assisting in the smoke.

Smoke, by the way.

Yeah,

you've been listening in the city because Xavier.

Yes,

that's why he uses Sherwin show, too.

Yeah.

So there you

go.

And he'd be coming up with all the things

coming up with all the things, dude.

The polls.

Yeah, all the things.

Yep.

Absolutely.

And he's just nodding like, yes,

he's joyful about it.

He's joyful about it.

It's a joyful situation.

Yeah.

It's

a good show

to

watch

and produce.

Yeah.

There it is.

We know.

We know.

I got the best seat in the house.

We've been the subject of it.

Right.

Absolutely.

So if he's mad at us, he'll push off a topic on Sherwin.

Right.

About us.

Yep.

Absolutely.

But you know,

clearly you've been very mad at me, but

anyway.

All

right.

So yeah, that, uh, yeah, that, that, that's my thought on that.

And like I say, I just, you know, pray and hope that it does it.

You know, people who had, uh, made their mind up and those who were undecided, you know, don't end up saying, okay, uh, sympathetic votes because they work.

They do.

They work.

They do.

I just wanted to be, you know, fair and balanced.

And that's why I was glad that county executive David Crowley came out right away.

Oh, sure.

Statement that

he did to show, like, you know, genuine concern.

Right.

You know, like,

yeah, I noticed, you know,

he wasn't at all.

David wasn't at all cynical like I was.

Yeah.

So yeah.

So it was a real situation, like I say.

So.

Uh, that's why I started out with saying, you know, prayers and, uh, hoping that, you know, his recovery and all of that.

Right.

Because, you know, with that, again, as we talk about for anybody, you know, comes some trauma.

Like if I'm swimming for my life, I'm swimming for my life.

You feel what I'm saying?

Right.

That's a different kind of swim to just say, let's go swimming.

You know, I was like, look, I got to reach land.

You know, uh, so yeah.

But yeah, so that, that is, uh,

Sir John said.

OMG OMG what an unfortunate yet eerie two-man flight but whether it was politically Coincidental or incidental Tom's Unpredicted heroics certainly swayed my swayed my vote away from David Crowley my tentative vote away from Dave Crowley, but he was

Put a laughing emoji thing facetious.

Yes

So one of the things that that we wanted to talk about this morning is like the amount of reckless driving crashes that

Continue

to you know, and that's crazy because you used to never hear about reckless driving crash, right?

You would hear about a little accident

and it was a fender bender and it's like okay It wasn't a lot of did they survive make it the car so mangled

There

was a situation that happened on 51st and found it like and I want to say that

I went past before that accident happened after I, you know, got done working on Saturday, right?

So remember, I told you I had two events that I had to do on that Saturday.

And I'm just thinking, like, what am I time getting out of that event?

And had it been like a two and a half hours later, I would have been right up there at that intersection.

It was three mangled cars.

Those cars were mangled.

Then there was the Crash on 20th and locus

where

somebody lost a life those cars were like you ain't even gonna ask are they total you knew that they were total Because of the speed and all of

that.

Oh, yeah,

some of these people are doing and so I'm like I don't want anybody to be in an accident But can we get black to fender benders?

Yeah, you know what just on?

It was yesterday.

I was on the freeway.

Mm-hmm and there

was a car driving so fast.

It had started when it came on the ramp was kind of racing another car.

Okay.

And then the other car decided, okay, you know what?

I'm out.

I ain't doing this.

Right.

But that car kept speeding and you could see it coming.

And there were several cars that just straight up pulled over to the shoulder.

So I'm coming to say, I'm not

even

going to be dealing with this.

I'm just going to pull over to the shoulder.

And I mean, it was like at least two cars that did that.

And I was like, wow.

Yeah.

Because they're being, people are driving way too fast and being way too reckless.

And that's what's going to happen.

Listen, y'all better watch the streets.

I'm telling you, uh, I know that they're, you know, working on the bike lanes and all of that stuff, but it's some other bump outs that are.

Listen, um, because, you know, I don't live in Shea Shea Fufu Atlanta, Sherman Park area.

So oftentimes I use Roosevelt.

Uh huh.

Yeah.

To come go to and from, right?

Yeah.

And the new.

Bump outs or whatever the hell they want to call it.

You know It's gonna be I know it's to prevent accidents

right

traffic coming right But Bailey like they got a new speed bumps on Roosevelt They've got these Listen, if you don't know how to drive, you know, you you got a

just drive straight to get through it.

And if you're not looking, and I know maybe it's because they're not finished, they're not painted yet with no reflect your

reflective paint.

So like if you don't see it, but because they still have the orange cones out or what, but if you don't look and you veered just to the left, if you don't know how to drive straight, you're going to be tow up.

And if you come through there, even when they're done and they may put the little signs up like the little yellow and black signs

that

let you know that it's something there, you're not going to see it.

You're going.

Ain't going to be no base lining.

There will be no more base lining on Roosevelt

and

some

of

these other streets that they are putting these massive bump outs or mini sidewalks.

I got to just film it and kind of show you.

Yeah.

Like, because I don't know if you're going to drive in Shea Shea Fou Fou La.

Well, you might because embassy, you know what

I'm saying?

Oh, my church.

Yeah, but

yeah, you will see.

You will see some of the ones that I'm talking about, but I just challenge you to drive not only from when you cross and I think it's going to be starting as early as after you come off capital

to

start taking Roosevelt.

Okay.

Just start looking at all of the construction and the shapes of it.

These things are going to, it's going to be.

A lot more people have an accident.

Yeah.

And I

know it's supposed

to calm it down, but the way that these little things pop out and they got some of them got two.

In one block, like two of them.

So where you cut, you forced to kind of like just drive straight and and there's no room for it to the left to the right because you're going to hit that and you're going to be Mario go cart.

Wow.

We got to get ready to take care of some bills.

And I'll tell you why they got all those.

And when I return, I've said it before, you're listening to the award winning 1017 of him, the truth.

I'm the legendary Homer blow along with my girl

Welcome, Black to Truth in the Morning.

On the award winning one on one seven FM, the truth inside the American family insurance studio in the heart of downtown at the avenue.

Uh, Bailey, we were talking about like these, uh, pump outs and the things that are going on on Roosevelt, but I see the same construction happening on a lot of blocks.

It's just that going down Roosevelt, they, uh, filled them in.

So I was like, I was looking at the shape and the design on some of the other streets that.

Have the exact same shape.

I'm like, Oh, this is what they get ready to put that these these bump outs or whatever they call them standing extended sidewalks or whatever the case may be.

If you make one veer move to the left or to the right when you're just trying to go, you're going to hit it.

You're going, you're going to fly up there in the air.

You're going,

that's going to be a rat.

Yes.

You know, who knows, you might make it out, but.

It's, it's scary.

It's scary, but I know why because the reckless driving is ridiculous.

And because we are not, uh, coming together as a people, black, white, or whatever, uh, with.

Making sure that our people like, look, don't be out there driving this.

And when you hear, and, and I don't want people to get the saying that, oh, well, y'all acting like it's only this, it's only that.

But when you hear that it was a car full of 16 year olds, 15, 14, 13 year olds, 21, 20 to 25, 26 year olds, you can't keep saying that it ain't them.

You can't keep watching all these damn videos saying, look at the young teens running from the car where I thought they would have probably lost their life or

be

severely injured.

They hobbling away from scenes.

the one that happened on 51st and find the lack, uh, Jamire blue, who has a food truck, expensive taste, my friend and brother.

Um, and I know his father as well, but he was right out there before law enforcement even came and he said everybody in all three of those vehicles, which the vehicles looked terrible.

They were mangled total.

They all ran.

They all got out of the three different cars.

And I'm not saying that they were together, but all of the none of this stayed on the scene.

You heard a fire truck or a paramedic or something coming, but he said, man, they already gone.

He's saying this on his Facebook live.

He said they gone.

No, all of them just

why would they all run if there wasn't something.

Hello.

You know what I mean?

Yeah, because often times as I've said before, in my opinion, when it's not your vehicle.

You don't have any loyalty to it.

This is why they will do some

of

these things.

This is why they'll do drive-by shootings.

This is why they'll use it in robberies.

This is why they use it to drive recklessly.

And if law enforcement does chase them, jump out and run when they feel like they've gotten far enough away.

Sometimes, even after it crashes, you'll hear that the police had to do a foot pursuit to get them.

You know, we're talking about a situation that even happened with the law enforcement officer.

Again, it wasn't a, okay, we pulled over.

No, they created a pursuit and then bailed and, you know,

tried to run

after the

car.

What kind of sister does that make?

You know, if that's the thing, what kind of what kind of sister does that make?

If it's your car or one of your relatives cars.

Right.

And you just out here.

What?

You just going to leave it?

You just

go.

They absolutely do.

They absolutely do.

And the other thing is, it's not just, in my opinion, the youth.

I mean,

it's a choice

of us adults.

Yeah, there are.

It's like, you've

got one leg in the grave already.

What are you doing?

You know, why aren't you taking your diabetes medicine?

Why aren't you taking your blood pressure pills?

Why don't you

you say you got one leg in the grave already

one leg in the grave You know like some of these people that be out here doing this stuff Bailey as young as some of them may be or middle You know 30 40 some years old.

They got major heart issues.

They got breathing issues They got lips from strokes and you know

They in wheelchair and they still be the ones I'm talking about be out here still while it like it's no way that you should be already confined to a wheelchair because you got shot and now your legs don't work and You still trying to talk crazy to people and you know like like come on when does it stop?

That's I'm like really like

When does the wake up button come on?

When does the light bulb and that's been a part of the issue in my opinion where some of these people, it's like, if you talk to some of the OGs, whatever you want to call them, the unks, the aunties, that

may,

aunties, the aunties.

Yeah, they call them TTs

and

all

that,

you know, so

that.

Maybe they were on a wrong path early on, but a light bulb came on and said, you know what?

I got to get my life together, uh, either because they finally understood that a son or a daughter that they may have or a son and daughter, you know, it's, it's worth more.

They need me here.

So they, they start making the changes.

Uh, they making their mothers or parents sick.

because they worried about them and it's like now my mama got you know have a personal care worker and

all

of that kind of stuff because she always crying and saying maybe I don't want you to lose your life in the street and so some of those people end up turning a life around but I'm not seeing that turnaround happen in what I call the parts of the mutated generation

that we're seeing.

It's like they just keep on pushing it's like they're fearless and and they don't care but then when they do finally get

Oh, wait, we give you 15 years.

We give you 20 years now to cry in the, you know what I'm

saying?

Then they say, yeah.

And it's, it's crazy because unfortunately I think that that's a real thing.

And that is what is disheartening because there are so many people like I say to work in the community that are trying to say, look, okay, so what is your issue?

Why are you wilding out like this?

Why are you crashing out like this?

And some of them will tell you, you know, I don't know.

But how do we help you if all your answer continues to be is, I don't know.

When we ask some of the people, not just the ones that, you know, maybe they had some infractions.

This is why I say when we interview some people, if we're going to interview some teens, we need to interview some of those teens.

Yeah,

we need to interview some of those children that.

Bro, why are you walking?

Why are you 11 getting caught with three guns?

Why?

We need to talk to them not the ones that have had the They understood that if they mess up again, they're gonna get sent up and all that.

No, we need to talk to them ones

Yeah,

those are the ones because those ones are that minority group that I talk about that will mess it up for a whole group of people

Because

of

their action and because of people now being afraid you know how many robberies have seemed to increase I've seen within the last Month so many people talking about they robbed my kids They got robbed you don't understand like and this is traumatizing

This is adding to the post-traumatic stress disorder that people are having and making you nervous of doing this.

Nervous of doing that.

People that have never owned a gun say, I'm going to get me a gun.

But if you don't learn how to safely operate that gun, you're going to mess around and not even hit who you trying to hit.

Yeah.

You're going to, because you're scared.

Because you're scared.

And you're going to end up just, you know, be like, hey, put it down, put it down.

And it's going to be some bad things that could happen from that.

So yeah, it's a lot.

We got out MKE out MKE.

Great morning.

Love you.

Appreciate you.

You hear the conversation.

What's your truth?

The truth is you can't worry about them because they bumped up all the silver spoons in the house and they still will.

That's why you can't clean your pots and pans.

Number two, at best, 11 years old, with three sons, you don't need to be talking to them.

You need to be talking to their mother and their father, okay?

And the reason why it got out of control is because if you don't line them, they gonna learn you.

And I'm gonna go back to the politicians, because if you have somebody like Briar...

None of this will be going on on the streets.

All right.

They do this because they want the gentrification to come through.

Me personally, I think a lot of these people need to kill themselves.

We got a cemetery right up here on 20th Street and all between Taitunga where the white man stole the raw iron and sold them at three pieces for $90.

You know what I mean?

But what we need to do is we need to get them to go because where we're going right now, we're going to have a trailer pack on the south side.

We already got the horse from the south side over here on that.

20th in capital ain't nothing but just deplorable, destituted and transient and don't nobody know what to do.

Now, let me ask you a question.

How man Bailey, they know what to do out there and say, say, Foo Foo Land probably.

You don't see that going on in Whitefish Bay, Bayview.

You don't see that going on on Bristol Compines, Brookfield Road or Calhoun Road.

You find it odd over here on this half time.

Don't nobody know what to do.

I'm going to take a step further.

You got a lot of white people that move downtown.

You're buying houses, but they only come outside at night because they don't want to talk to the colors.

Okay.

All facts.

But we don't know but we don't know what to do about the reckless driving when it comes to the call us We don't know what to do about all the climbing in a sectionate and all that stuff because you know Stoney Island gonna be from third and burl I down the third and locker So that's more money for fast and friendly in the gas station in the liquor store.

We don't know what to do.

We don't you know, we don't find that

We don't find that out.

We don't know what to do when it comes to our own.

But dude, when the racist men come up here and start throwing you up in jail and you're sitting up here getting arrested for some of the policy and infections from you, everybody got money to put on their books.

We don't find that a problem.

Yep.

We got to

get ready to take care of some bills

out.

Have a good day.

Yeah,

but thank you very much.

We got to take care of some bills and I'm going to say what I've said before when we return about.

What I think some of the problem is will be black.

Welcome, Black Troop Nation.

Listen, we are talking about some of the reckless driving and some of the different behaviors that are going on.

And our MKE brought up some great points that we always think about and talk about as well, where it's like in these different little counties and things of that nature.

why is it that they have less speeding violations?

Why is it that they have less of this and less of that?

Listen, here, listen, if you are from Milwaukee or you've just been living in Milwaukee for a long time, there's a little town called Butler.

Why is it a separate town?

It's right here.

It's right here.

It's like it was like brown deer and any other little you know,

right?

But no, but like it's like yeah Milwaukee and all of a sudden you're lost and you're in Butler and it's right there

I tell you what you're not gonna find in Butler reckless driving

I tell you what

you're not gonna find somebody just speeding

like you

know You ain't you you're not gonna find it.

They got time

for you when you got that when you cross that little that stop light and You going into Butler?

Yeah

Oh, you turn into Toyland.

Yeah.

If that speed limit says 15.

Yeah.

You start

going 15.

You better be going 15.

Because they ain't got.

All you have to do is go over the hill.

Yep.

And it's a wrap.

It's

a wrap.

Go through there calling yourself speeding.

All in warrants that you got from other stuff.

It wasn't from Butler.

Right.

But all that, oh yeah,

you get ready to get caught.

They found the fugitive.

I'm just saying,

if you are a fugitive, go through Butler, trying to do what you do in our big city, but we're such a big city.

You know what

I'm saying?

But yeah, go to some of those places.

People know who to try and who not to try.

Let me tell you something.

Just, you know what?

I'm gonna tell you something.

That canes on a hundred and twenty-fourth in capital.

Mm-hmm.

They didn't make that for y'all They put that there for y'all, but y'all think y'all supposed to go there as he y'all go out there y'all cut up and What when you hear about something going on out there?

It ain't about the Chick-fil-A across the street.

It ain't about the target It ain't about none of those but it's always about Canes y'all think y'all supposed to go there.

Yeah, I think

Now some some of your cousins working there.

I understand Mm-hmm, but they didn't build after y'all and y'all see how y'all out there cutting up Yeah, and you you hear a story about Brookfield

No,

you want you well, you know if you hear something you do Yeah,

they

got him in the line

is that

a hotel trying to

you know

Listen, they got him in the line of Cain's right

Listen, I'm just saying that,

you know.

You want to know why the drive-thru is backed up out there?

Because your cousin then pulled up, thought they was going through the drive-thru right quick.

Listen, but I'm trying to tell you that, you know, in my opinion, a lot of our people are on detriment.

And this is a very important message right here.

And I need people to really understand because it's twofold.

But in my opinion, unfortunately, it's facts.

You've got some youth and some Toys R Us adults and some PWKs, people with kids, that will not take self-accountability, will not say and just hold themselves accountable period for a lot of different things that are going on.

Then we have some people that have taken the position to quote unquote, fight for our people, fight for our community.

The things some of the things that are going on in my opinion in our community in those other communities They're able to use facial recognition But we want to find the villain we want to find the person that committed the crime But we don't want to allow them to use facial recognition and at the same damn time We've got a community of some people who won't share the information with law enforcement But at the same damn time they got on a shirt

Find my cousin, find the murderer, find this person, find the person that robbed this person, find the person that raped that person.

You want to find out all the damn things, but you will not do your part in helping to bring them to justice.

If it wasn't for Ring Doorbells, if it wasn't for

businesses with cameras on them.

If it wasn't for all of the people that just so happened to have camera footage or the city of Milwaukee and the police department that may have cameras in different areas because of whatever.

When I read now, I can clearly say 98% of the criminal complaints I read and I read a

lot

of them.

It's the cameras that helped solve the crime.

It's not that the neighbors and the community really came together because we wanted to see the drugs out of the community.

We wanted the people that's shooting that live in this house.

They always shooting at people.

All of those things, those things because of other people's cameras and the police are able to see them on a doorbell.

Hey!

Do you have a camera?

They grab that footage.

And then a lot of these people who won't say that they seen it or they synced it, they won't.

Oh, I didn't see nothing.

But on that damn footage that they are able to get from some of these cameras, they're able to see that you were absolutely there.

You were standing right there.

We need to talk to you, sir, ma'am.

We need to talk to you because you could help us solve this case.

You've got a lot of families that are still waiting for justice right now.

loved ones who've been murdered years ago, a couple of years ago, last year, this year, and they haven't gotten and been able to bring anybody to justice.

Nobody wants to say a damn thing, but yet you say you want crime out of our community.

But what the hell are you doing to help law enforcement get the crime out of our community?

And when you want to act like I bring this up all the time, and it's not to take any life.

Like short or play it short or anything like that But damn it.

It's a lot more people that look like me that are out here shooting people into my community Murdering people in my community that having a law enforcement officer End up taking somebody's life and now it's a big deal now.

I'm not saying it's not I'm just saying how come we don't use the same damn energy Why are we using that same energy to get a hold and a grip on our community?

We let them just

do what they want to do and you got people that'll be like man you know that was such a such nail man that's the ones over there man that's them girls over there they always they always why do we got to hear that but yet at the same time you want to get mad at everybody else but you're not even doing your part if we're not doing our part we ain't gonna see a damn thing

We're going to continue to be scared to death.

We're going to continue to put ourselves on house arrest because we're going to say I'm going out.

Bailey, here's my location.

I made it home.

You gonna hear call me when you make it in yet call me when where you going?

Okay.

I'm gonna leave when you leave.

Okay.

Come on.

Let's leave out together So we have a group of people you can't do a lot of things that you want by yourself Now there's a group of people they can because guess what they not playing they not playing no goddamn games They are holding people accountable and if they see it they gonna say it we will sit and harbor and aid these people like we don't know what they

What the hell is going on?

We know exactly what the hell is going on.

But then you want to say, well, they need to lock more people up.

Hell, we ain't telling them who the hell to lock up.

So then when they lock up the wrong person, the law enforcement is so evil.

They so evil.

But you

ain't doing your part.

You ain't doing, well, they gon retaliate.

They gon this, they gon that.

Okay, they got crime stoppers.

You can call anonymous and trust me, you don't have to go testify.

You can give all your information p3 tips I read it all the time when I'm reading these stories about people who have been shot And if you have any information that why do you think they keep asking is if anybody has any information?

Call this number

Anybody trying to call?

Anybody calling?

I'm not going to be no snitch.

We're going to forever live in hell inside of our inner city.

There's a lot of great and beautiful things.

There's been so many powerful events

that have

been held in our community.

Shout out to all of the organizations, the 4014 Alight Milwaukee City of Milwaukee Department of Community Wellness and Safety that have been doing things.

Milwaukee County in general joined a lot of things to be like, hey, let's bring this black to life.

Let's show that we are not all

animals

like

we are depicted as but it's a lot of y'all that know damn well what the hell happened you went live you filmed a whole damn thing

and went live and posted it on your page and here we are I ain't saying nothing

so guess what again guess where some of the law enforcement is getting their information from your camera yes so it goes black to my point we want to film everything

yeah

do all of that yeah even some

Families that are trying to discipline their kids.

Yeah,

why the

hell you putting it on social media that part you dare, right?

CPS coming to see you.

Yep.

All right.

I'm off my soapbox.

Okay, hold

on.

We

gotta take care of some bills.

Oh

Okay,

all right.

We'll come back.

All right.

I ain't gonna say nothing

else.

No, we got okay.

It's our chat.

Our chat popping up.

I got you.

All right.

Welcome black

Truth in the morning.

I'm the legendary home blow along with my girl

Bailey Coleman.

Stand down.

You had confidence.

Well, yeah, we're going to get some off the truth.

YouTube chat abstract noir.

I believe MPD is sticking it to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in retaliation.

to defund the police, the defund police movement because of that, uh, to make the north side of Milwaukee lawless.

Hmm.

That's a thought.

You want my opinion, huh?

I think I

kind of, yeah, but I know I'll let you read more.

Okay.

Uh, Barbara 2028 says, don't complain.

Vote.

That's what President Obama always says.

Uh, minister Kevin.

Homer, we'll call the police on people in our own house before we be a witness to a crime next door.

Hashtag sad facts.

Well, then some people need to get busy because they showed on the people that they got in their household.

OK, Jasmine Gooden said, who upset Homer?

And Barbara 2028 said, you.

Jasmine Gooden ain't your cousins.

I know that's right.

And then Jasmine Gooden said, Barbara, I know you did not.

I didn't do a dig on thing.

Me and my Chicago folks wasn't out this week.

Y'all are funny, man.

Y'all are funny.

Yeah,

okay.

Yeah, it's

the Mount Elephant.

Great morning.

Love you.

Appreciate you.

It's just that some people don't want to, in my opinion, take that real reality check.

And, you know, the things we say, we shouldn't have that.

No, we don't want them to do this.

We don't want them to do that.

But at the same time, we want the criminals locked up.

But then you don't want to block them so long.

You want them, you know what I'm saying?

Well, you don't want them locked up at all.

Most people, they're like, you know, but.

But they're terrorizing your neighborhood.

Absolutely.

So it's like, how do you, where's the balance in that?

Like, yeah, but

they shouldn't be trying to give them this.

They were this, they was that.

And you know, they was terrorizing the neighborhood.

Right.

Why are you playing?

Why you got security at your event?

Right.

Hmm.

If they all going to be all right, we ain't got to worry about it.

We can, we can just go ahead and have a boat 500 of them in the building and.

Now

grab it.

Ain't that going down?

It's all good.

Ain't nobody got an issue with nobody else?

No.

Come on, people.

We got to keep it real with ourselves if we don't want to keep it real with nobody else.

That's it.

That's all.

Self-accountability.

Yeah.

When you see stuff, when a lot of times, I'm going to tell you, when people look at these videos, unfortunately, you know, you know that they're going to usually be of us acting a goddamn fool, right?

And then you got those people to be like, but we're the only ones.

I get it.

But how many of those you're going to find?

Like for real, like at

everything we are, first of all, we are our own worst credit.

We put the

word enemy.

We put ourselves.

in the situations that we find ourselves in.

And then when they're there or something happens, then we're like, oh, that shouldn't have happened.

So-and-so is a great person.

This is that happened.

And you know, nine times out of 10, you know, is someone, like I said before, that was terrorizing the neighborhood and wasn't up to no good.

And you know that.

Right.

Right.

But you're like, oh, you know.

It's okay They okay.

They was an okay person.

They was cool.

Yeah people trying to just like I look at again oftentimes when I see some of our Small businesses that have opened up a space right and it's like Even then site, why are you taking away?

From the poor who are already poor right you know what I'm saying they already

went through and you don't even know they struggle.

You don't even care to hear about their journey.

Right.

Shout out to, uh, on the journey with coach Erica.

Great

show this past Saturday.

Yeah.

But, um, like you don't even know their journey, but you really should

because

nine times out of 10, yo journey been crazy as hell too.

Yeah.

So you want to take someone who's finally able to be proud and say, Hey.

I've got a brick and mortar location.

You know, I've got my online website ready and rocking and rolling and then you come in and take from that.

You know, they're trying to do something to feed themselves and their family and do something that the community can utilize.

But now, you know, we'll let everybody else come in our community, open up things and they don't go through all the drama that we go through.

It's crazy that when you hear about.

certain shootings and homicides that may happen at some of these other businesses that are restaurants.

Oh, it don't be that it was the employee.

It don't be that it was the staff.

It'd be the people coming to their, you know, to that business.

But for here, in some of our situations, you got people that look like us that will come in trying to terrorize the business, trying to just, you know,

make the person have to say do I even want to stay in this business if it's a man who may it may be his wife or it may be his woman or vice versa it might be her husband or her man and you got to be terrified on if they're going to make it home.

Every evening whenever that business closes up without you know being accosted or Somebody come in and try to shoot it up and take the little things that you may have in there or take a person's life

Or they

may have their sons and daughters trying to work the show like this is what a family business looks like

And

it's people that look like us that are coming there and be the detriment to where it's like now You know what?

I'm sorry.

I'm closing you ain't even been open a year.

Yeah, I got to let it go Somebody came in there and robbed my daughter

and she's traumatized and she don't ever want to come black in there and just that and the other.

She don't want, you know, she wants you to get out the business too because she don't want it to happen to you either and all of that.

This is some of the sad reality in my opinion that some of us go through inside our community.

We like, look, we open this for y'all.

Right.

We should not be a damn enemy.

Exactly.

We're trying to do this for y'all.

Y'all could have some a little grocery store, a little, you know,

some

type of business within our community.

And yeah, hey, you know what?

I mean, we've we've all said how there's certain areas we just won't stop in.

Ain't stopping to get no gas.

Ain't stopping for no restaurant.

And it's sad that it has to be that way.

But what else are you going to

do?

You cannot.

You can't, you know, you will lose your life because you want a sandwich.

You know what I'm saying?

You got to play your gas route.

Because if you get low on gas, you certainly don't want to stop in certain areas to get none.

I ain't heard about a bunch of drama in all of the beauty supply stores like that.

And

if it is drama going on,

it's usually another.

Yeah, but it's another black woman against another black woman or a black man with a black woman.

It ain't the employees.

Well,

drama is we still in and everything is locked the hell up.

We

can't go into a store and properly shop.

Well,

unless we

call.

Excuse me, can y'all get somebody to come over here and open this up so I can get some body wash?

Well, it's that way in Walmart.

Are you kidding me?

It's that way in Walmart!

You can't even shop out here.

What you got baby?

I'm

just

saying you're gonna learn to

do it.

We gotta do

better as a people.

That's all I'm saying.

We gotta do better as a people.

We say we want better, we deserve better, and we absolutely do.

But we gotta, you know, the people that don't want that, we gotta understand that they are part of the problem.

And if we are trying to fix things,

We got to get rid of the problem so we can get to our solutions.

That part.

Yeah, Bailey.

Trust God, do good.

Have a great day.

Don't get on no planes.

Just kidding.

They're playing.

I'm just

kidding.

Listen, up next, the award-winning truth with Sharon

Hughes.

Calm down, I'm kidding.

From 9 a.m.

to noon, followed up by Ray Nitty and maybe Shannon from noon to two with the lunch break.

Followed up by Ray Nitty continuing with the Great Vine, but coming into that spot we got, ooh, in October, we got Vivian King coming, so y'all

stay

tuned

for

that.

Four to seven, we tapped in with my girl, Jazz Tyler.

I believe she got baptized on yesterday at Infinite Church.

I saw Pastor Rodante Astrid and saw her being dipped in baptized, so she's going to come in with a different spirit today.

Okay.

All right, love you babes.

We're out of here.

We'll be black tomorrow.

I got you.

Hughes.

Go sit.

Go sit down.

He was like, What?

I just told the truth.

You tell me where I lie.

See, Homer, you know I'm not lying.

That's why you said it, Homer.

That's why you said it.

Because you know I'm not lying.

And he was talking about I heard everything he was saying about me.

Oh, yeah, I was listening.

You know when he was kind of be like, come on down and

all that stuff.

He told me he was listening.

Yeah,

I was listening.

Yeah.

Now Blake Gump ended up saying good morning family.

They shut the block down by putting the police cameras in the middle of the block weather.

In the middle of the black weather You see I'm just trying to get

where Because

I can read Anybody that has a problem would be doing that

You know, listen,

I'm proud of my

MPS education and I can read.

I was one of those

ones that

coming up was what

it was determined.

Like when

I was in a lower grade, you part of the seven percent.

How do you turn

that around?

I can't believe.

He got me crying in here.

Come on.

Come on.

Stop it.

I made the 7% of this.

You are.

Listen, that was stealth.

This is what I mean when I say Bailey is stealth.

She goes into stealth mode without any warning,

without any

warning.

And it's like, see what I did there?

Without

saying it.

So, but he has said, okay, so let me start his comment.

And it's

important that I do this as a reason.

Okay.

So he

said,

good morning, family.

Yeah, so like and

then

like weather as in rain John

Milan

Yeah, he

ain't got

nothing to do with Blake's hair rollers and his

scarf

I'm just trying to figure out.

Remember the

picture we shot.

Listen

at what part of my life

listen, okay, hold on

keep it up rollers on underneath there.

He said it himself

Put the police cameras in the middle of

Now what

happened

was I just came like okay,

I

was riding right I was I was driving you know, so I drive I drive

and

I do my job right so I

Everybody you know I was as a matter of fact I was going to

look at the picture he got a roller out in the back is blue

It's been

quiet all

week.

It's been quiet all weekend.

Exactly.

Do

you see the Roller in the back?

Pass me a couple of Kleenex.

I got right here.

Do

you see the Roller in the back?

Who sees the Roller in the

back?

Hold on.

See?

There it is.

I don't know what you are doing.

I see it.

So I

know if you on YouTube and Facebook live.

Yeah, you getting one right now.

Listen,

so I

was No, see I

sent it I listen

Like when

I okay, they said they were black and blue rollers boom see That's what I see Because I said

that there's black and blue.

Hold on one.

I'm sticking out Gonna fix myself up here.

I don't want to be on

TV looking crazy.

But I synced it.

I synced it with my own eyes.

And then I had to say, oh, Lord Jesus, it's a

fire.

I got bronchitis.

And

so I just I just packed everything up and I went to the hotel.

And that's where I was.

I resided at the hotel.

But then when I got back home,

I ended up seeing.

that they don't put the cameras on Blake said he ain't no shucking and jiving brother they done put the cameras out there and they was in the middle of the

street I

couldn't even drive home

but but

I went home because I I feel safe uh-uh you better leave Blake alone I know

Blake up gonna call in he gonna be

he said he ain't no shucking and jiving dude I just know that that's why I

say it's just a shucking and jiving picture it looks

No,

but

you look like the usual black person that they

catch the camera.

That's where we at.

You look

like the stereotype.

Blake, before you go out there, comb your hair out.

I was getting my

head together

for the next day.

That's what it was.

He was getting your hair together.

See if Bailey had to have that picture brought up we wouldn't have went through a whole damn segment Talking about Blake gum

Was that right though and the rollers was in there to prove I wasn't lying Y'all saw the rollers.

We get ready

rolling char

break.

We're about to roll into

our meeting Nicole you saw that you saw jazz

Jazz

West,

you saw it.

Y'all saw it.

The rollers was in Blake's head.

And then he got some rest this past weekend.

Hills got tired today.

Absolutely.

Listen, we're going to take care of

Hills.

And we don't come back.

We don't talk about the plane.

We're going to talk about the Packers losing.

The first game.

The violent reckless driving that is continuing.

and some of these new bump outs.

Oh, it's going

to be a

lot more.

I

can't roll

over something.

OK, you're listening to the

Welcome black to truth in the morning on the award winning one on one seven FM.

The truth.

You're about to talk about the plane.

Is that what you cleared your throat?

No.

No.

Okay.

Well, welcome black.

I think Bailey, we good.

Bailey, are we good?

We

good.

Okay.

We can talk about the fact that Packers, we lost game one to a rival, the Minnesota Vikings.

And if people want to know my thoughts and opinions on it and then I'll let Bailey get hers.

We lost.

Okay.

So that's it.

I ain't giving no excuses.

I don't do that.

If we lost, we lost.

Okay.

So, but Bailey,

we lost.

Who's the coach?

I don't know.

Matt LaFleur.

Okay.

You know, we used to know Mike Homegren's name and then the other dude after him and the other dude after him, Sherwin Sherwin.

On

this tape

we don't know the coach's name We barely know who Jordan love is and I think we need to keep that that way

Neither one of them looking good.

Neither one of them looking good.

All

right

Have my team do

that

have the Seahawks do

They

won

yeah, okay Wednesday when they done the Wednesday game.

Okay good.

Yeah, they won.

Okay, cool So as long as they keep winning they gonna be my team package start winning and I'll jump back I'm a real one

At least I keep it above boy.

There you go.

There you go.

But

however, I do want to say, I don't know their coach's name, neither nothing.

I don't know the quarterback name.

I don't know.

None of them people.

The the Indiana Bears ended up making history.

So crazy.

They still in Chicago right now.

Go on now with that.

Go on

now.

The Indiana.

All the bears.

Grizzly Adams.

But yeah,

they ended up setting the NFL record with points 59 points in their win.

Wow.

So but yeah, but yeah, the Packers we lost.

Yeah.

Again,

you know,

that's why I'm going to be

honest.

I get so involved

that I

had to become a bandwagon jumper because

My feelings get hurt when they lose like that, and then I'd be mad all week, and you know how that?

Especially here, Wisconsin.

Yeah,

yeah, I mean just bad mood.

Yeah, and you're gonna have so many people people that are Packer fans will be like

school

You gonna get so I

can't

get

scolded if

you

listen listen the Brewers of my team now they lost

They did, but

they already

got they spot in the playoffs.

We ain't even got worried about that was just

the whatever and two more games.

They can end up clenching.

There it is.

There it is.

And we doing it all over again.

We got

a

nice run.

The Brewers.

Yeah.

Yeah.

And they play here in Milwaukee.

Absolutely.

And I've been to several games.

There you go.

I've been to several Packer games, too.

So I'm not gonna, you know,

I've been to some.

The first Packers game that I went to, I learned a valuable lesson.

I drove all past Lambeau Field, but it never went in.

A lot of the Packers would come down to the original City Club and party with me.

The OG City Club.

Yeah.

And, uh, and so I, and they would come to deviate and stuff like that.

So I knew a lot of the players and then some of the other clubs as we went on.

And, uh, so I got to know a lot of them.

They would always invite me to, uh, the QBs and all of that and some of the, the star players.

And I just was like, yeah, okay, I'm going to come one day.

Okay.

I'm going to come one day.

And then I was like, I finally decided to take them up on it and I went to a game and you know, I don't know.

what type of blood that those people that don't have shirts on when it's cold outside.

So I went to one of the fall games.

Better call it winter.

Right.

Right.

And, you know, so I didn't know I'm like, OK, how do you just sit on this little piece of cold nettle?

How do you do that?

And then I saw the other people with the little seat black.

They I'm like, well, how much it owes, you know what I'm saying?

And so then I learned my way around it.

But first and it was just so cold.

And I would get up and go into the bathroom just to try to get warm.

Right.

And then come black out and try to bear with it.

But yeah, it was a tough game for me the first time I went.

Each time I went, we won.

OK.

So that was a plus.

OK.

I've also been there at a game where when they have had a thunderstorm.

Yeah.

They passed over.

Oh, yeah.

I did not know that they clear out the whole Lambo field.

Oh,

yeah.

You're looking like ants.

Yeah.

Like when you look across to see what was.

Sold out and everybody is in the little cubby hoes like waiting to get the all clear But they don't play about it like if it's lightning and all of that they don't play they get you out of here So I was able to you know experience that so I experienced extreme cold

yes

experience being caught with a brief thunderstorm, right?

And then I experienced some nice weather games as

well.

Okay,

so yeah, so

more than four.

So that's why, you know, some.

Yeah.

So I couldn't say I went to a few because that's usually reflecting about three.

So it was some or a little bit more than some whatever case maybe I went supported them and they were all times that they won.

Okay.

Me too.

Yeah.

So that's a great thing.

But yeah.

Win or lose.

That's I am with it.

We either win, we lose.

It is what it is.

Right.

Now let's go to

the plane, the plane.

Oh, wait a minute.

Hold on.

We're talking about hold on.

Hold on to the football thing.

Mm hmm.

Uh, G famo seven said Bailey proud of her Seahawks.

But are you proud of home?

Of home them white tea people jumped on the black man at the game?

I saw that.

There's a footage of.

Uh folk trying to fight this black man.

I think I want to say I'm proud of him.

He held his there was like eight and nine people trying to get on him

and

he handled them all.

That brother need to be in the, uh, the, uh, WWE or something because he handled them on and listen Homer really only hit one person.

Right.

And that person came and hit him.

in his face first.

Right.

And and he took that.

It was just like, you know, so I got to give you.

No, I'm not proud of that, but I will say this.

Seattle is far more liberal and accepting of people of color.

Then Wisconsin

and that is just straight up.

Blake Gump said he's worked eight packer games as the end zone security.

I knew he did.

We're going to go.

I

heard he was there when they built Lambo.

I'll be honest.

I'm not.

I'm going to the.

I'm just saying.

I'm

just saying.

I'm going.

He was

he

was

there when they built Lambo,

the new

edition.

Curly Lambo and all that.

Really?

I'm just I'm OK.

This is too much.

It's a lot.

And everything.

Yeah, he was there for all that.

So when he had the little weird looking football

suits.

Yeah.

Okay.

Yeah.

Okay.

Blake Gump.

Yeah.

I'm not going to give in.

We got Miller talking about the Packers.

Great morning.

Love you.

Appreciate you.

Miller said eight three three two one two ten seventeen.

What's your truth with the Packers?

Good morning.

I just have a question and this I know this is going to irritate a lot of people.

But y'all win all of the 70 and all of the 80.

Didn't win one game.

Now y'all think y'all supposed to win all the game.

Y'all win two, 20 years without winning hardly no game.

Now when y'all lose a game, it's like, oh, we lost the game.

Y'all didn't win none.

Now y'all act like y'all supposed to win every game.

They ain't supposed to win, right?

And now you feel sold out Lambo Field.

Losing and all.

See?

Now y'all act like y'all are supposed to win all the time.

See?

I'm confused.

I'm confused.

Thank you, Millicent.

We love you.

We appreciate you.

Listen, we got to take care.

Mill's been

hilarious.

She's right.

She's right.

Blake Gump said, I'm only 54.

With that, we'll get ready to take care of some hills.

You're

listening to Truth in the Morning.

I'm the legendary home of blow along with my girl

The plane.

talk

about when we come back.

The

The plane.

You remember?

That was Hervé Villiches, right?

And then, Fantasy Island.

Yeah.

Put the hammer down.

It's not a hammer, it's a gavel.

Okay, whatever.

The plane, the plane.

Boss, the plane.

It's lowering.

Put the

hammer down.

It's the gavel.

Whatever.

Okay, what do you have, Bailey?

Tom Tiffany's plane went down.

Okay, yeah, we know

that.

He had to swim to shore.

He had

to swim to shore.

And he had some minor injuries, right?

Minor injury like a little he got he got

stitches above his

eye.

Okay

All right, so we good put the gavel down now.

Yeah, what that happened Saturday night or something Sunday.

Yeah yesterday I think it was Saturday.

Wasn't it?

I believe so.

I was working.

Yeah, I wouldn't

threatening me

with that.

I'm not.

I just raised my arm up higher so you can hear the impact when it's time.

You're waiting.

You just wait.

I'm waiting.

Is that all you got to say?

I'm

not going to say anything.

I mean, I think that is convenient timing.

Okay.

I'm going to say that I'm going to ask if if the stitches

Are anything like Listen Will you remember when the president had like the grazing of the bullet or whatever And he had That was a Band did

of sorts.

Okay.

I'm keep I'm trying

to think I'm

going slow because I'm keeping it clean people.

I'm thinking we're thinking real time here.

So I'm just thinking it was kind of like the bandage he had on his ear.

Is that it?

just saying

minister Kevin said it was the only gimmick left after the orange man used a shot in the ear tree

shot in here so I mean are we thinking this are we you know I want to say this okay so then the accident or whatever was announced right you know you got to watch these things how they unfold right and so then of course the

Best thing for David Crowley to do is say, Oh, wow.

Um, I hope he's okay.

I'm glad it seems like he's okay.

Blah, blah, blah.

So he puts out a positive sort of, wow, I'm praying for him and his family type deal.

So

he keep his name out there.

So, oh boy, don't suck up all the air, right?

And then all of a sudden, after that happens.

And oh boy realizes, oh wait a minute, he can press off of my press.

Then all of a sudden I had to swim 80 miles.

And I had to get stitches right here.

See?

That's when everything you know today's thing is they're getting today's story is how they're going to get the plane out of the water That's today's story how they're getting the am I lying y'all y'all tell me

if I'm lying not No lies.

So he's

trying to take up several news cycles on a story that I mean

It was an accident.

Okay.

I'll take that.

But he tried to take a 10-15 news cycles on this one story.

And why was he flying from Warsaw?

Where is that in Wisconsin?

And why were you flying from there?

You know?

What is that?

No.

Drive.

You're in Wisconsin.

Why are you flying?

It flies across Wisconsin.

Y'all need to get in the car and drive.

Land based trips.

That's what it is.

That's what it is.

Get you a bus.

If you got enough money for a plane, you can get your campaign bus.

Yeah, using all the tax money as Jasmine Jazz West said.

Yeah.

Get you a little bus.

You can get a van if you don't want to spend all that money.

Get you a van and drive across Wisconsin.

Keep it land based.

My suggestion.

Y'all know I ain't lying shout out to our YouTube our YouTube chat

Kevin said we gators in the lake He had to swim right yes

50 miles.

I'm sorry.

Okay

a few feet

That's all I have to say help me

all

right.

I'm leaving it.

So that was Bailey's my rent rent

Go ahead.

Okay.

All right.

So let's go to, uh, and you know, prayers to him and his family.

Yeah, absolutely.

There were, uh, a lot of reckless driving that has been,

Oh, you ain't got nothing to say about that.

I

said, I'm like, I,

I,

what

are your comments Homer?

What are your comments on that?

What are you thinking?

I'm thinking that again, there was an accident.

I'm praying that.

That again, I'm praying for his family.

Okay.

I'm praying for him.

Okay.

I am

a recovery.

I hope the stitches heal.

I hope they're dissolvable so they don't make a mark.

What?

See, baby, I won't say all of that.

I'm not, I wouldn't even try to say all of that.

What are you saying, Homer?

I'm saying you said it all.

Did you think it was convenient?

Huh Do you think this is an effort to you know sway some boats

make it make everybody feel like oh

it appears to be a real accident okay you know there's all the things that come along with it uh-huh

well i mean president trump's was a real accident too

see bailey

what the orange man listen

bailey what are you on this one now i expect to hear sure when

you

You had a whole lot to say about this.

Yes.

When the mic

was off.

So let's hear it now.

Let's hear it now.

Come on.

Let's hear it.

Y'all see what y'all see what he doing.

How you laughing?

Come

on.

Why are you laughing?

Come on.

So let's see.

Come

on.

There's there's inside business.

There's our side business you're listening to truth in the morning You know

what you know what you know what's gonna start coming up on the on the YouTube chat

you you listening they don't know they

go say Homer's a Republican y'all didn't know that

oh All right.

All right.

Is that what it is?

Hey, wait, I got Crowley shirts coming.

Oh

And

he was at the grand opening.

Oh, that's the other thing, the grand opening of Fishbone's

socials.

Y'all see how

he tried

to move the subject away from talking

about this?

Shout out to Brea Grant and her masterpiece restaurant.

Right, right, right, right, masterpieces.

Y'all see how he just conveniently, now, he don't want to talk about it.

He don't want to talk about it.

You see how that goes.

Y'all see?

Y'all see how this goes.

So now you remember the next time I don't want to talk about something.

Oh, I know you

know

you don't know you don't know you never do No,

you know you said I reserve my comment.

I know I know You're like break time.

Okay

You are listening to truth in the morning on 101 7 the truth the truth app and streaming live on 101 7 the truth on YouTube

If you were supposed to be at work at 8 a.m Welcome black to truth in the morning We were ending the hour The 7 o'clock hour with Bailey pressuring me.

No

feel.

Uh I feel and pray that this wasn't a ploy to do like the orange man.

Yeah, to do like the orange man has, you know, done.

So I'm not.

Don't you feel better?

Yeah, I'm not laughing at it, but I just hope because we've seen them do it.

Yeah,

we've seen situations that we know are very, very serious and it definitely will pull at the heartstrings of people to be like,

Oh, wow.

You know, so you will be like, oh, wow.

So, you know, he done this.

He he been through that.

And see, we got to support him now to the other.

You know, right?

He

swam

to shore or this, that and the other.

And so I just don't want that to happen because we've seen it happen in my opinion in the Republican Party before with the leader of our country.

There's been so many incidents.

At

least two incidents

prior to

the election.

Right.

So, you know what I'm saying?

So, forgive me if I put it against, you know, like I'm not standing on okay.

Yeah, I see the wound and that's why I say, you know, I'm praying for him.

I'm praying for his family.

But yeah, I just don't want this to.

I mean, forgive me if

I'm being a little

cynical about

it.

Yeah.

Yeah.

But I mean, timing and everything.

Yeah.

But it's it's like that because we've been hoodwinked and bamboozled before.

And

so it's

a sensitive situation, in my opinion.

So we're like, because in.

Everyday life in my opinion.

Mm-hmm.

There is nobody that we would end up saying Did this really happen right?

So we've been given reason

right

to feel like how far will some people go?

So I just can only pray that that's not this situation.

It was a real Untimely situation that happened and he was able to survive

and

that's

great.

Yeah, so but yeah, we we have seen it from the top person

Right.

And close to election time.

Yeah, absolutely.

You know, so forgive if some people feel like, no, no, because like I say, there's several other situations that have happened in history and nobody had to say, no, no.

Exactly.

I don't know.

Exactly.

So

the way people are manipulating political situations these days.

Yeah.

All of these things that you would never think of coming to play.

So

you

have to understand why people for example such as myself are a little cynical about it.

Yeah

By the

way y'all want to do a cup check.

It's uh Nothing like a good book cup today, and I drank all my coffee.

It was just coffee.

I'll let you know

I'll let y'all know

So there you go sincere Ronnie Ray real great morning.

Love you appreciate you again to everybody on our YouTube page

But yeah, so that's the situation and Sherwin Our numbers have went up another hundred people so

see there you go show

on our YouTube page

see

yeah, so it works because me and Bailey we be doing we

do

we do our part Yep,

y'all need to do y'all part.

That's it.

That's

it.

Like and subscribe.

Yeah, like and subscribe every morning

y'all

All right, maybe I, maybe I overdid that.

You know what I'm talking about.

So anyway,

yeah,

but yeah, so I ain't

gonna talk about show because I've been a subject to too many of his shows.

Yeah, yeah, he

is

an

attack.

I'm about

to start singing that Mariah Carey song.

You got that song Xavier.

Why are you so obsessed with.

So I have been the topic of his show several times with

you guys want to

smoke.

Huh?

Sounds like you guys want the smoke.

We don't want the smoke, but you have been assisting

in the smoke.

Smoke, by the way.

Yeah, you've been listening in the city

because Xavier.

Yes, that's why he uses

Sherwin show, too.

Yeah.

So there you

go.

And he'd be coming up with all the things

coming up with all the things, dude.

The

polls.

Yeah,

all the things.

Yep.

Absolutely.

And he's just nodding like, yes, he's joyful about

it.

He's joyful about it.

It's a joyful situation.

Yeah.

It's

a good show

to watch and produce.

Yeah.

There it is.

We know.

We know.

I got the best seat in the house.

We've been the subject of it.

Right.

Absolutely.

So if he's mad at us, he'll push off a topic on Sherwin.

Right.

About us.

Yep.

Absolutely.

But you know,

clearly you've been very mad at me, but

anyway.

All right.

Oh,

sure.

Statement that he did to show, like, you know, genuine concern.

Right.

You

know, like, yeah, I noticed, you know, he wasn't at all.

David

wasn't at all cynical like I was.

Yeah.

Put a laughing emoji

thing facetious.

Yes So one of the things that that we wanted to talk about this morning is like the amount of reckless driving crashes that

Continue to

you know, and that's crazy because you used to never hear about reckless driving crash,

right?

You would hear about

a

little accident

and it was a fender bender and it's like okay It wasn't a lot of did they survive make it the car so mangled

There

was a situation that happened on 51st and found it like and I want to say that

I went past before that accident happened after I, you know, got done working on Saturday, right?

So remember, I told you I had two events that I had to do on that Saturday.

And I'm just thinking, like, what am I time getting out of that event?

And had it been like a two and a half hours later, I would have been right up there at that intersection.

It was three mangled cars.

Those

cars were mangled.

Then there was the Crash on 20th and locus

where

somebody lost a life those cars were like you ain't even gonna ask are they total you knew that they were total Because of the speed and all of that.

Oh, yeah, some of these people are doing and so I'm like I don't want anybody to be in an accident But can we get black to fender benders?

You know It's gonna be I know it's to prevent accidents right traffic coming right But Bailey like they got a new speed bumps on Roosevelt They've got these Listen, if you don't know how to drive, you know, you you got a

just drive straight to get through it.

And if you're not looking, and I know maybe it's because they're not finished, they're not painted yet with no reflect your reflective paint.

So like if you don't see it, but because they still have the orange cones out or what, but if you don't look and you veer just to the left, if you don't know how to drive straight, you're going to be tow up.

And if you come through there, even when they're done and they may put the little signs up like the little yellow and black signs that let you know that it's something there, you're not going to see it.

You're going.

Ain't going to be no base lining.

There will be no more base lining on Roosevelt

and some of

these other streets that they are putting these massive bump outs or mini sidewalks.

I got to just film it and kind of show you.

Yeah.

Like, because I don't know if you're going to drive in Shea Shea Fou Fou La.

Well, you might because embassy, you know what I'm

saying?

Oh, my church.

Yeah, but

yeah, you will see.

You will see some of the ones that I'm talking about, but I just challenge you to drive not only from when you cross and I think it's going to be starting as early as after you come off capital to start taking Roosevelt.

Okay.

Just start looking at all of the construction and the shapes of it.

These things are going to, it's going to be.

A lot more people have an accident.

Yeah.

And I know it's supposed to calm it down, but the way that these little things pop out and they got some of them got two.

Bailey Coleman

will be black.

Welcome black to truth in the morning on the award winning one on one seven FM the truth inside the American Family Insurance studio in the heart of downtown at the Avenue Bailey we were talking about like these Pumpouts and and the things that are going on on Roosevelt, but I see the same Construction happening on a lot of blocks.

It's just that going down Roosevelt They filled them in so I was like I was looking at the shape and the design on some of the other streets that

This is why they will do some

of these

things.

Yeah, they call them TTs

and all that, you know, so

that.

Maybe they were on a wrong path early on, but a light bulb came on and said, you know what?

I got to get my life together, uh, either because they finally understood that a son or a daughter that they may have or a son and daughter, you know, it's, it's worth more.

They need me here.

So they, they start making the changes.

Uh, they making their mothers or parents sick.

because they worried about them and it's like now my mama got you know have a personal care worker and

all

of that kind of stuff because she always crying and saying maybe I don't want you to lose your life in the street and so some of those people end up turning a life around but I'm not seeing that turnaround happen in what I call the parts of the mutated generation

that we're

seeing.

None of this will be going on on the streets, all right?

They do this because they want the gentrification to come through.

Me personally, I think a lot of these people need to kill themselves.

We got a cemetery right up here on 20th Street and all between Taitunga where the white man stole the raw iron and sold them at three pieces for $90.

You

know what I mean?

But what we need to do is we need to get them to go because where we going right now?

We're gonna have a trailer pack on the south side.

We already got the horse from the south side over here on that to say 20th in capital ain't nothing but just the pluribos that's the two of them transients and don't nobody know what to do now.

Let me ask you a question homer and Bailey.

Hmm.

They know what to do out there and say, say fool who land probably

You don't see that going on in Whitefish Bay, Bayview.

You don't see that going on on Bristol Compines, Brookfield Road or Calhoun Road.

You find it odd.

Over here on this half time, don't nobody know what to do.

Yep.

We got to

get ready to take care of some bills.

Have a good day.

Yeah,

but thank you very much.

We got to take care of some bills.

And I'm going to say what I've said before when we return about.

What I think some of the problem is will

Welcome Black, Troop Nation.

Listen, we are talking about some of the reckless driving and some of the different behaviors that are going on and our MKE brought up, you know, some great points that that we always think about and talk about as well, where it's like in these different little counties and things to that nature.

Why is it that they have less speeding violations?

Why is it that they have less of this and less of that?

Listen.

Listen, if you are from Milwaukee or you've just been living in Milwaukee for a long time, there's a little town called Butler.

Why is it a separate town?

It's right here.

It's right here.

It's like brown deer and any other little, you know.

But no, but like it's like

you're in

Milwaukee and all of a sudden you're lost and you're in Butler and it's right there

I tell you what you're not gonna find in Butler reckless driving I tell you what you're not gonna find somebody just speeding like you know You ain't you you're not gonna find it.

They got time for you when you got that when you cross that little that stop light And you going into butler.

Yeah

Oh, you turn into Toyland.

Yeah.

If that speed limit says 15.

Yeah.

You start going 15.

You better be going 15.

Because they ain't got.

All you gotta do is go over the

hill.

Yep.

It's a wrap.

It's a wrap.

Go through the air calling yourself speeding.

All in warrants that you got from other stuff.

It wasn't from Butler, but all that.

Oh yeah, you get ready to get caught.

They found the fugitive.

I'm just saying, if you are a fugitive, go through Butler, trying to do what you do in our big city, but we're such a big city in a bit, you know what I'm saying?

But yeah, go to some of those places.

People know who to try and who not to try.

Let me tell you something.

Just, you know what?

I'm gonna tell you something.

That canes on 124th and capital.

Mm-hmm.

They didn't make that for y'all They put that there for y'all, but y'all think y'all supposed to go there as see y'all go out there y'all cut up and What when you hear about something going on out there?

It ain't about the Chick-fil-a across the street.

It ain't about the target It ain't about none of those but it's always about Canes y'all think y'all supposed to go there.

Yeah, I think

Now some some of your cousins working there.

I understand Mm-hmm, but they didn't build after y'all and y'all see how y'all out there cutting up Yeah, and you you hear a story about Brookfield

No,

you want you

know if you hear something you do Yeah, they got

him in the line

is that a hotel trying to you know

Listen, they got him in the line at Cain's right

Listen, I'm just saying that, you know.

You want

to know why the drive-thru is backed up out there?

Because your cousin in pulled up thought they was going through the drive-thru right quick.

The things some of the things that are going on in my opinion in our community in those other communities They're able to use facial recognition But we want to find the feeling we want to find the person that committed the crime But we don't want to allow them to use facial recognition and at the same damn time We've got a community of some people who won't share the information with law enforcement But at the same damn time they got on a shirt

When I read now, I can clearly say 98% of the criminal complaints I read and I read a lot of them.

It's a lot more people that look like me that are out here shooting people in my community Murdering people in my community then having a law enforcement officer end up taking somebody's life And now it's a big deal now.

You gonna hear, call me when you make it in.

Call me when, where you going?

Okay, I'm gonna leave when you leave.

Okay, come on, let's leave out together.

So we have a group of people.

You can't do a lot of things that you want by yourself.

Now there's a group of people they can because guess what?

They're not playing.

They're not playing no goddamn games.

They are holding people accountable and if they see it, they're gonna say it.

We will sit.

and harbor and aid these people, like we don't know what the hell is going on.

We know exactly what the hell is going on.

But then you want to say, well, they need to lock more people up.

Hell, we ain't telling them who the hell to lock up.

So then when they lock up the wrong person, the law enforcement is so evil.

They so evil.

But you ain't doing your part.

You ain't doing.

Well, they gon retaliate.

They gon this, they gon that.

OK, they got.

Crime stoppers, you can call anonymous and trust me, you don't have to go testify.

You can give all your information, p three tips.

I read it all the time when I'm reading these stories about people who have been shot.

And if you have any information that why do you think they keep asking is if anybody has any information, call this number.

Ain't nobody trying to call anybody calling.

I'm not gonna be no snitch.

And we're gonna forever live in hell inside of our inner city.

There's a lot of great and beautiful things.

There's been so many powerful events that have been held in our community.

Shout out to all of the organization's 4014 Alight Milwaukee City of Milwaukee Department of Community Wellness and Safety that have been doing things.

Milwaukee County in general, joined a lot of things to be like, Hey, let's bring this black to life.

Let's show that we are not all animals like we are depicted as, but it's a lot of y'all that know damn well what the hell happened.

You went live.

You filmed a whole damn thing

and went live and posted it on your page and here we are.

I ain't saying nothing

So guess what again?

Guess where some of the law enforcement is getting their information from your camera.

Yes So it goes black to my point.

We want to film everything.

Yeah, do all of that Yeah, even some families that are trying to discipline their kids.

Yeah, why the hell you putting it on social media that part you dare, right?

CPS coming to see you.

Yeah.

All right.

I'm off my sofa.

Okay.

Hold on.

I gotta take this

Okay.

All

right.

We'll come back.

All right.

I ain't gonna say nothing

else.

No, we got.

Okay.

It's

our chat.

Our chat popping off.

I got you.

All right.

You're listening to the legendary home workflow along with my girl

Bailey Coleman will be black.

Don't touch that dial.

Truth in the morning will be right back on 1017 the truth, the truth app and streaming live on 1017 the truth.

You are listening to Truth in the Morning on 1017 The Truth, the Truth app, and streaming live on 1017 The Truth on YouTube.

Welcome, Black.

Truth in the Morning.

I'm the legendary home.

I blow along with my girl.

Bailey Coleman.

Bailey, I stand down.

You had

Well, yeah, we're gonna get some off the truth YouTube chat abstract noir.

I believe MPD is sticking it to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in retaliation To defund the police the defund police movement because of that to make the north side of Milwaukee lawless Mmm, that's a

thought

You want my opinion?

I

think I kind

of yeah, but I know I'll let you read more.

Okay.

Uh, Barbara 2028 says don't complain.

Vote.

That's what President Obama always says.

Uh, minister Kevin Homer will call the police on people in our own house before we be a witness to a crime next door.

Hashtag sad facts.

Well, then some people need to get busy cuz they short on the people that they got in that household.

Okay, uh Jasmine Gooden said, who upset Homer?

And Barbara 2028 said you Jasmine Gooden ain't your cousins.

I know that's right And then Jasmine Gooden said Barbara, I know you I know you did not I didn't do a dig

On thing me and my Chicago folks wasn't out this week Y'all funny man y'all are funny Yeah, okay.

Yeah, it's

the mild elephant great morning.

Love you appreciate you It's just that some people don't want to in my opinion take that real reality check and you know the things we say we shouldn't have that

No, we don't want them to do this.

We don't want them to do that.

But at the same time, we want the criminals locked up.

But then you don't want to block them so long.

You want them, you know what I'm

saying?

Well, you don't want them locked up at all.

Most people, they're like, right.

But but they're terrorizing your neighborhood.

Absolutely.

So it's like, how do you where's the balance in that?

Like, yeah, but

they shouldn't be trying to give them this.

They was this, they was that.

And you know, they was terrorizing the neighborhood.

Right.

What are you playing?

Why you got security at your event,

right?

Hmm If they all gonna be all right, we ain't gotta worry about it.

We can we just go ahead and have a Both 500 of them in the building and

never happen and that going down.

It's all good

Ain't nobody got an issue with nobody else.

No

Come on people We got to keep it real with ourselves if we don't want to keep it real with nobody else.

That's that's it.

That's all

self-accountability.

Yeah

When when you see stuff when a lot of times I'm gonna tell you when people look at these videos Unfortunately, you know, you know that They're gonna usually be of us acting a goddamn fool, right?

And then you got those people to be like, but we're the only ones I get it by how many of those you're gonna find like for real like

I think we are first of all we are our own worst credit We put we put

the word

enemy

We put ourselves in the situations that we find ourselves in.

And then when they're there or something happens, then we're like, oh, that shouldn't have happened.

So-and-so is a great person.

This is that happening.

And you know, nine times out of 10, you know, is someone, like I said before, that was terrorizing the neighborhood and wasn't up to no good.

And you know that.

Right.

Right.

But.

You're like, oh, you know, it's okay.

They okay.

They was an okay person.

They was cool.

Yeah.

People trying to just like, I look at, uh, again, oftentimes when I see some of our, uh, small businesses that have opened up a space.

Right.

And it's like, even then, it's like, why are you taking away from the poor?

who are already poor.

Right.

You know what I'm saying?

They already went through and you don't even know they struggle.

You don't even care to hear about their journey.

Right.

Shout out to on the journey with Coach Erica.

Great

show this past Saturday.

Yeah.

But like you don't even know their journey, but you really should

because

nine times out of 10, your journey been crazy as hell too.

Yeah.

So you want to take someone who's finally able to be proud and say, Hey,

She don't want, you know, she wants you to get out the business too because she don't want that to happen to you either and all of that.

This is some of the sad reality in my opinion that some of us go through inside our community.

We're like, look, we open this for y'all.

Right.

We should not be a damn enemy.

Exactly.

We trying to do this for y'all.

They all can have some a little grocery store, a little, you know,

that's

some type of business within our community.

And yeah, hey, you know what?

I mean, we've we've all said how there's certain areas we just won't stop in.

Ain't stopping to get no gas.

Ain't stopping for no restaurant.

And it's sad that it has to be that way.

But what else are you going to do?

Well

drama is we still in and everything is locked the hell up.

We

can't go into a store and properly shop.

Well, unless we

call.

Uh, excuse me.

Can y'all get somebody to come over here and open this up so I can get some body wash?

Well, it's that way in Walmart.

Are you kidding me?

It's what

I'm going.

It's what I'm going.

You ain't got to go to no beauty supply stores.

You can't even go to Wally World out here.

That's why I don't even, you know, you can't even shop out here.

What you got, baby?

It's, it's, I'm

just

saying, you're going to learn

today.

Okay.

I mean, it's a shame.

We got to do

better as a people.

That's all I'm saying.

We got to do better as a people.

We say we want better, we deserve better, and we absolutely do.

Yep.

But we gotta, you know, the people that don't want that, we gotta understand that they are part of the problem.

And if we are trying to fix things, we gotta get rid of the problem so we can get to our solution.

That part.

Yeah, Bailey.

Trust God, do good, have a great day.

Don't get on no planes.

Just kidding.

I'm

just kidding.

Up next, the award-winning Truth with Sherry

Hughes

from 9 a.m.

to noon followed up by Ray Nitty and maybe Shannon from noon to two with the lunch break.

Followed up by Ray Nitty continuing with the Great Vine, but coming into that spot we got, ooh, in October, we got Vivian King coming, so y'all

stay tuned for

that.

Four to seven, we tapped in with my girl, Jazz Tyler.

I believe she got baptized on yesterday at Infinite Church.

I saw Pastor Rodante Ashrin and saw her being dipped in baptized, so she's going to come in with a different spirit today.

Okay.

All right, love you babes.

We're out of here.

We'll be black tomorrow.
