A Waukesha County judge formally signed off on Morgan Geyser's conditional release in July of 2025.
She was placed in a Madison Group home in September of 2025 and escaped from it in November.

This begins the process of getting her evaluated and we reserve the right to amend, supplement, or withdraw it depending on the conclusions of the medical professionals.

Geyser has the right to petition the court for release every six months.

after a child got into an animal exhibit.
It happened yesterday afternoon.
Video of the incident went viral on social media.
Fox six is Ashley Sears here in the newsroom or here in the studio with what the child's father said.
what happened, or what went on there, Ash?

The zoo says the boy was in the outdoor African savanna exhibit for about two to three minutes after breaking away from his family.
A man identifying himself as the boy's father reached out to us and says there's more to it and they're looking for some understanding.
It's one of those exhibits you can't miss at the Milwaukee County Zoo.
And then do you see the cheetahs
there?
The outdoor African Savannah gets a lot of eyes for the animals inside.
But lately it's been getting a lot of attention for a different reason.
My initial reaction was wondering how in the world the kid got in here.
Viral videos posted on TikTok with more than 30,000 shares show a child inside holding a stick chasing the southern ground hornbills.
It's their home, so they're being protective.
Tracy Dolphin is the zoo director of animal management and health.
She says the boy was only in the exhibit for a couple of.
They're not used to someone being in the habitat other than our care staff.
A person identifying himself as the child's father reached out on social media saying his 13 year old son has severe autism and is nonverbal.
He says his son loves animals and was at the zoo with his grandmother and a caregiver when he broke away.
The grandmother went in after him and they were able to climb out of the habitat safely.
It's an incident.
Everyone involved hopes he's not repeated and the focus here can get back to the animals would be really, you know, mindful of the barriers and respectful so that we can all ensure that the animals here at the zoo are being respected.
And the zoo director of animal management and health says, with any incident like this, they review protocol and habitats.
She adds the habitats meet accreditation standards.
Now, the boy's father says, after responding to a post on one of those viral videos, people have been wishing him harm.
And to his family, and he says, he's not justifying what happened, but is looking for some grace.

They need to figure it out

Milwaukee nine one one review after delayed response to attack employee discharge.
At least one employee is going to be more.
At least one employee lost their job following a city of Milwaukee investigation into the mishandling of a 911 call, according to documents reviewed by Fox six news.
The employee was discharged on Friday, August 21st.
The same day, the Department of Emergency Communications, DEC, announced it had concluded its investigation.
The employee was one of the two universal call takers that took a pair of 911 calls from a third-party dispatch service, alerting them that a 99-year-old woman was in danger near 14th and Cudahay on the morning of July 27th.
The third-party dispatcher told the city's universal call,
call taker, they believe the situation could be a domestic call.
When the dispatcher called 911 a second time minutes later, they patched in audio in which a man could be heard threatening a woman yelling, shut the expletive up.
I'm going to beat the expletive out of you.
Though the call taker stole the third party dispatcher, that police were on it.
They didn't arrive until more than two and a half hours later.
After the woman dialed 9-1-1 herself.
I've been attacked.
I need help the victim said after calling 9-1-1 So, yeah, yeah, they fired one person is fired so far

So I want to know with you hearing about this situation and the club owner is saying that he didn't.
Authorize that to be put in there, you know him speaking out and he put out a press release himself a PR statement and Saying that that's not what he said, but he did say Music with violent content like you know the rap would talking about guns and killing drugs He didn't want that play

My opinion on this and Everybody may not see it my way But my opinion on this is that It sounds like there were a lot of People of color that enjoy rap music hip-hop music because they don't really call it rap anymore, right?
Then enjoy hip-hop music
that were there and they thought they were welcome.
And I'm sure that y'all put a lot of money in that place.
My suggestion to you is that you find someplace else to go and you vote with your money.
And it would be a great opportunity for one of you enterprising young people to start your own spot.
You know and it ain't got to be the garage.
It could be the plaza.
It could be whatever you want to make it, you know what I mean?
But you want to feel welcome where you go
You don't want to walk in and what, you know, smile and faces that tell lies to you, you know?
And, you know, if you can't, you know, be in the garage with them, create your own situation and spend your money there and let your friends know that they're welcome there, you know?

This is a great situation where we have a lot of people and it's a big melting pot and this is a cool situation.

And there's been plenty of parties bigger that you have been uninvited to.
So create your own situation.
You hate to have to do it.
You hate for this to be the scenario.
But create your own situation where you're welcome and the people that enjoy what you enjoy, enjoy, including, you know, the Milwaukee rappers.
Create your own situation.
I've done it a million times and then it became bigger than the actual situation that you were leaving.

Well the biggest hip hop station here in Milwaukee for many years many years and 15 20 something like that someplace in there.
Let me tell you something There were things we could not get into Because of who we were as an entity because we played hip-hop music and this is real

For all you club owners out here, if you listening, don't be listening to what people say.

So me as a person, I listen to a variety of music.
So when I see that it's like, oh, so I guess you don't want me there because I'm not, you know, I don't really want to hear Ed sharing, you know, playing on and on and on or people I don't listen to a genre of music that I don't listen to, never listen to, don't even want to dance to.
So it makes me feel like I'm not welcome there.
So I wouldn't go there.
I would go somewhere else, but I do feel some kind of way.
But then if you look at it from a business owner, which I have a friend, friends that have a place where people go out and party and dance and whatever.
And I hear the story.
Oh my gosh, something happened last night.
Now I got to go up to the commission.
Now they're talking about what are you going to do?
to come up with all these suggestions
stressful.
and they not playing with you.
They mean it.
Like if you don't get it together, guess what?
We will shut you down.
This will affect your pocket.
You will be closed.
Somebody else will get your money.
So that's a reality.
That's not a joke.
It's not it's like people lifeline their bread and butter is put on everything to have you have a good time.
And now you're trying to mess it up.
So I do get both sides.
But I
think it's a way of

Where, where you don't have to like offend people because guess what?
When I leave from summer fest, there's a whole bunch of intoxicated people that don't look like me.
But guess what?
They're giving a pass.

They make sure they got 20 summer fest buses down there.
Everybody want to drive them to it.
They're accommodated because this is a known factor.

summer fest, they're drunk.
They get a pass.

They are tearing downtown up.
They are doing all kinds of I've seen

the news.
They're giving a pass.
Oh, you know, a couple unruly people.
But when it comes to us.
I don't know why the teens went to Bayshore and did that.
I don't know why it was acting up at State Fair.
But guess what?
You know teens are doing this.
We have to figure out a way with not penalizing every kid that's coming or every brown kid that's coming to Summerfest or
coming
to it.
We have to figure, and I think it is, when you don't want to discriminate, when you don't want to make the parent that does everything right and their kid is a 4-point-old student who wants to go to Summerfest to be feel like.
Wow, it's rough being black.
I get treated like I'm a criminal and I just showed up.
it's a way of doing things without just just attacking a whole race of people.

I know a lot of teens got in and it was after that time at Summerfest
they had a whole lot of problems.
So I was thinking like they did at Mayfair Mall.

You got to be with your mom and you got to be with your mom all the

bathroom, can't be over there and getting donuts and you right here.

they were strict in Mayfair and you know what?
Mayfair don't have all the problems that they used to and they didn't get closed down like some of the other malls.
think you have to make parents.
accountable, but when you have thousands and thousands and thousands of people,
do you hold those parents accountable?

People don't want to come customers don't want to come back And you know one of the things about here in Milwaukee that I've noticed is one minute you have the grand opening the next minute It's closing.

Okay, so it's kind of like you look at this like two sides.
So me as a person, I listen to a variety of music.
So when I see that it's like, oh, so I guess you don't want me there because I'm not, you know, I don't really want to hear Ed sharing, you know, playing on and on and on or people I don't listen to a genre of music that I don't listen to, never listen to, don't even want to dance to.
So it makes me feel like I'm not welcome there.
So I wouldn't go there.
I would go somewhere else, but I do feel some kind of way.
But then if you look at it from a business owner, which I have a friend, friends that have a place where people go out and party and dance and whatever.
And I hear the story.
Oh my gosh, something happened last night.
Now I got to go up to the commission.
Now they're talking about what are you going to do?
to come up with all these suggestions
stressful.
and they not playing with you.
They mean it.
Like if you don't get it together, guess what?
We will shut you down.
This will affect your pocket.
You will be closed.
Somebody else will get your money.
So that's a reality.
That's not a joke.
It's not it's like people lifeline their bread and butter is put on everything to have you have a good time.
And now you're trying to mess it up.
So I do get both sides.
But I
think it's a way of
It's a way of doing things.
That's right.
Where, where you don't have to like offend people because guess what?
When I leave from summer fest, there's a whole bunch of intoxicated people that don't look like me.
But guess what?
They're giving a pass.
People
know
they are drinking.
They accommodate.
They make sure they got 20 summer fest buses down there.
Everybody want to drive them to it.
They're accommodated because this is a known factor.
You
go to
summer fest, they're drunk.
They get a pass.
Madison wins.
You know, they're football game badgers.
They are tearing downtown up.
They are doing all kinds of I've seen
it on
the news.
They're giving a pass.
Oh, you know, a couple unruly people.
But when it comes to us.
I don't know why the teens went to Bayshore and did that.
I don't know why it was acting up at State Fair.
But guess what?
You know teens are doing this.
We have to figure out a way with not penalizing every kid that's coming or every brown kid that's coming to Summerfest or
coming
to it.
We have to figure, and I think it is, when you don't want to discriminate, when you don't want to make the parent that does everything right and their kid is a 4-point-old student who wants to go to Summerfest to be feel like.
Wow, it's rough being black.
I get treated like I'm a criminal and I just showed up.
it's a way of doing things without just just attacking a whole race of people.

So what could state fair or any other public situation do that would not be.
looked at as, oh, they don't want black people out here.
What could they do with seeing the unfortunate things that have been taking place at State Fair for a few years or more now?
What would you suggest?
And that's why I tell people go to these town hall meetings, go to the police if they're having a community meeting saying, you know, what, what can we do?
So what would your solution be?
So your son or your daughter wouldn't have to feel that way because something has to change.
We agree on that.
Some got to change, but what would your plan be that would make sure that you don't have to worry about those situations?
Something's going to happen, but it ain't got to be in a large, you know, it's like, oh, that was a isolated incident.

I do like the fact that at certain times you need to come in with a parent.

But I was at summer fest and I watched it.
I watched the ratio of white and whites and like teenagers go from like.
it was one to ten far as like blacks and whites then it went to like five to five and then the teenagers was like there and i'm just like oh my gosh um it's time for me to go because i don't know what's going down but i hear you know
when i
hear people shaking heads so

do like the point with parents but how did all these kids get in because i know it ain't that many parents
I see teens, I don't see any parents.
I don't know if it's like, hey, um, I ain't here with my mom.
Can I walk in with you?
I don't know exactly what happened with that, but.
I know a lot of teens got in and it was after that time at Summerfest
they had a whole lot of problems.
So I was thinking like they did at Mayfair Mall.
Guess what?
You got to be with your mom and you got to be with your mom all the
time.
bathroom, can't be over there and getting donuts and you right here.
I'm not babysitting you.
Your mom is.
they were strict in Mayfair and you know what?
Mayfair don't have all the problems that they used to and they didn't get closed down like some of the other malls.
think you have to make parents.
accountable, but when you have thousands and thousands and thousands of people,
do you hold those parents accountable?

I just want to say like to these business owners that don't want certain music played at their restaurants or their Establishments, I don't blame them.
I mean look at look at our society man It is for a number amount of reasons that these teens and young kids are acting like this, but the music especially with drinking I mean, that's what they call them spirits when you listen into that kind of music and you drinking I mean you just you acting a wild in the mud, right?
It always takes a little bit for you to set off you listen into
