Now, I'll say, I mean, the Democrats didn't go too far and beat each other up.

They was all, you know, but all the Intel, the K all this, it was, it was pretty, it was pretty bad.

It was a, a ugly fight in an ugly battle.

And it also should be another wake up call as it relates to poll numbers.

right because that whole you know that what was it

five percent he was like it five

percent percent all that yeah and then

and then dropping out for nine days

and the early voters

yeah and the thirty four percent undecided

I think he had

In the end, a lot of political power backing him.

And it shows you how much people actually liked Governor Evers.

And so here's where we part of ways.

Because I want him to have a little bit of freedom.

So he really was with my guy.

He was really with Francesca.

So I said, OK, she's a Democrat, I think.

So that's OK.

Long as it's a Democrat.

But only her and Dave and a couple other people really in a race.

But it's really between the two of them.

So I say, you go ahead and do that.

It's OK.

I want you to have feel free to do that.

But everybody else.

I told you.

Just kidding.

But I'm not.

But how is he feeling

this morning?

He's cool.

Because he was like, hey, OK, cool.

You know,

so now is he going to support?

thing is this.

identifies my son identifies with he's very liberal and he's very democratic.

My my my thing about this whole race is it's it was always bigger to me than just the fact that David Crowley is a black man.

Well, it was like

His his experience.

Him dealing with all of the the type of issues that can come up from running a county

Accounting

all of that

and being able to run the

state.

Yes, he has the

experience experience if he could do the county he could definitely do the state

Yeah, so a lot of people, you know, we're on.

Oh, yeah People just vote because he's black.

vote because he's

qualified

And

again the plus was that he happens to be

a black man

That's it.

That came up.

That's it.

That's all the real struggle.

That's it.

That's all and that is correct.

You know what I'm saying?

So if you could do the county, right, then you can surely do the state.

Right.

And again, yes.

And he has a

record of getting things passed with his time in that where she had only got one thing passed out of her time.

in the state.

You feel what I'm saying?

so all of

those things matter.

I think both of them are quality candidates though.

Both of them did have some level of experience working within the government.

So, if she would have won, then I would have had to do what my son did and just get it live.

Yeah, I don't, you know, with just looking at her record though.

her record would not allow me to support her because again, she can't get things done.

Right.

my opinion.

well, we both are from

DC, our county.

Yeah.

This is, in my opinion, for her, a defeat.

Although she tried to claim it as, oh, and this and this and this, you talking about somebody who was at the bottom, almost at the very bottom of the totem pole amongst all of the candidates that were running, right?

So you talking about that, you talking about seeing that, okay, this is looking like it's an insurmountable task.

to keep going so he ended up dropping out of the race then to come black so and he was out for nine days people still had a chance to absentee vote and all of that kind of stuff during all of this time

Uh, even with Mandela still being in the race.

So you talking about all of these, in my opinion, for me, the different, different factors that were there.

I mean, it's showed like, yeah, well, he probably don't stand a chance.

He really, they got out there and they did their thing.

And, and

her numbers to, uh, not, you know, take the lead

and all

of that kind of stuff.

That that that says something too in my opinion because again it should have been a mollywap by the Numbers and Napoleon and all of that that they kept presenting to us, but she didn't she didn't People were looking for her to have such a commanding lead and he's 10 to 15 percent behind her and all of that and it never manifested.

It was undecided people and those people decided.

When they went to the polls, clearly they decided.

So there we go.

And shout out to our Milwaukee courier with their.

immediate coverage of it as well with the breaking news

that

Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley has won the Democratic primary for Wisconsin governor per decision desk HQ.

Headed into Election Day polling show the Northside Milwaukee native down.

by more than 20 points.

Wow.

But with the support of Governor Tony Ebers and after one of the wildest races and adventurous election nights, Crowley pulled off the long shot.

Yeah, he

did.

The 40-year-old becomes the first black man to be a major party's nominee in Wisconsin.

There you go.

And could become the first black governor.

There we go.

He now faces 68-year-old Congressman Tom Tiffany.

So that is on our Milwaukee Courier.

You can go to us online at Milwaukee Courier and read that and I'm sure the stories will continue to be updated.

Shout out to the Milwaukee Courier doing their

Absolutely.

So in the Milwaukee County population, 933,063 people population and it says

percentage wise David Crowley had forty three percent sixty five thousand one hundred and thirty one votes out of this is out of Milwaukee County.

Okay.

Francesca Hong had forty one point five percent of the vote.

She had sixty two thousand seven hundred and thirty nine other votes.

And

now y'all just think of how that would win if y'all would have got Pookie Ray Ray out to vote because they didn't come out.

Well.

I look at it as what it would look like if some of the other people had a drop out.

Yeah, because the numbers

that burns and, um, Kelder Roy and Lieutenant Governor Sarah Rodriguez,

the

numbers and the Joe Brennan's, the numbers that they had, if those votes would have been going for a David Crowley, if they would have endorsed

him, right?

Yeah, it wouldn't have even been a close situation.

Yeah,

but again, the the biggest winner is David Crowley.

Yeah, my opinion because of the

fact that all of the things that were against him.

Yes.

He was he was fighting a war.

Yeah.

And I'm glad that I can say that I was a.

uh, soldier or lieutenant, uh, you know, one of the high ranking that like, you know, I believed in him.

And when he announced that he was running at the gate, I'm like, you got my support.

Yeah.

You got my support.

And, you know, uh, me and his wife, Erica Crowley, I had mentioned that at the.

MPD district seven national night out.

She was there under the community advocates, which you know,

she's been

holding up and helping so many people in our community.

And you know, we came to it like, you know what, we're going to embrace whatever it is.

We're, we're, we're praying for the victory,

but we're

going to embrace whatever happens.

Yeah.

And so we are

happy as hell.

Yeah.

That part.

I'm just saying

she was also one of our truth award winners.

He signed his name with investigation to take away thousands and thousands of votes with Donald Trump.

He's also backed and he backs a pedophile participant and a pedophile denier and a protector.

Donald Trump backs this guy.

He also backs the tariffs which you fill into your pocket.

He backs the war which you fill into your pocket.

So connectivity cannot get in that seat.

We have to keep

pushing David Crowley all the way past the finish line.

But I always say this, never underestimate the stupidity of people who say, my boat ain't gonna count, I ain't gonna go boat anyway.

Never underestimate the stupidity of people who will see these facts.

Well, I just laid it out and still go and bail you got a hole in nose and vote for Tom Tiffany.

Never underestimate the stupidity of the American photo who believes that, you know, um, Crowley gonna make a difference.

And besides him being a black man, part of you, the first governor, um, but he's gonna do the right thing.

He didn't want to set up a GoFundMe, but some of the people part of Comfort's MKE, Liza and others set up a GoFundMe

for him

because, you know, he does do a lot.

for the community.

he's always

involved and active.

And so they wanted to try to do something to help them get relocated to a new location for them and their children.

And they ended up putting the two together.

they ended up putting the two together and saying that these things, unfortunately, are related.

You know, with that situation.

So when we heard about it and that's another thing, though.

That I talk about Bailey.

And some people can hate her to love it.

My thing is when people talk about don't chase and this that any other.

If you notice, I always say, well, what if it was your mother or your

child?

about that.

That was the person right that they were chasing.

The alleged suspect and that person sending them and putting them into a high speed chase.

They end up crashing into someone and that person loses their life.

Are you still saying that you they should have just let them go and wait?

But think about this.

Having the flat cameras in many cases can reduce having to chase somebody.

I know for the families, if this person is found to be the man responsible for this, these three homicides, it happened less than 25 minutes apart.

First two on the south side on 21st and Pierce and the second one 20, well, the third one 25 minutes later on the north side on 39th and Townsend.

So police have arrested a suspect in that Milwaukee weekend shooting that killed three people.

Scott 29 Vanessa 26.

They died in a shooting just before 10 p.m.

on Saturday

near

21st and Pierce Street.

Family identified the victim at 39th and Townsend Street as 38 year old Shimala here.

So we do have an update.

with that breaking news as we come on the air here at five the dramatic arrest the suspect wanted in a weekend murder spree in Milwaukee

and told news capturing the tense scene on camera there are photos of the three victims who died in two separate shootings Saturday night you see them here on your screen and just hours ago police caught the man at 84th and fee brands that's on the city's northwest side

told news investigative reporter James Stratton witnessed the takedown he joins us now live from that scene James

police were here all afternoon at this home, three houses north of Fee Brands.

This tan home here just leaving the last 10 minutes.

Officers arresting that murder spree suspect right in the driveway here.

Our cameras rolling as police made their move.

And from what we can see, police fired a single rubber bullet, then a flashbang before knocking that suspect to the ground.

Police say he was wanted in three killings in one day.

Accused of killing Vanessa de Herrera, her friend, Scott Buckholz, on Saturday night at 21st in Pierce on the city's south side.

25 minutes later, police say that same suspect, that man, they say, killed Shyamala Hare at 39th in Townsend.

We are not showing that suspect's face.

No formal criminal charges have been filed.

We spoke with the head of the block.

in this neighborhood just moments after that arrest.

They did what they had to and they didn't have to shoot.

So that was a plus.

Did you see the flash bang and yeah.

Police have not detailed the motive in either shooting, but say this is the same suspect in all three of those homicides.

We're told by Central Booking he's not yet made his way downtown to be booked.

Once that happens, once charges are filed, of course, we'll learn more and keep you updated.

Um, you know prayers to those families that are still waiting for justice and still waiting for someone to be arrested in a situation that may involve their loved one or a family member.

I. It just, you know, and in this particular situation, I believe that.

the officers did do a good job.

As they emphasized, it was a rubber bullet and some kind of flashbang or whatever.

But you can't be out here just killing people like that.

he needs to be under the jail.

So, but when this story was initially reported, it was reported as just a standoff with police.

And then the second round they came in and said that, you know, he was connected to the shootings.

know I hope all the all three families get you know their justice in this scenario and it'd be interesting to find out what the connections are between the three and so yeah yeah I do I do just feel bad for the families you don't want to lose a loved one not like you know that it's enough that we're all just fighting to stay alive

on a daily basis with whatever's going on.

But then to have someone deliberately go shoot your family members and kill them.

So police have arrested a suspect in that Milwaukee weekend shooting that killed three people.

Scott 29 Vanessa 26.

They died in a shooting just before 10 p.m.

on Saturday

near

21st and Pierce Street.

Family identified the victim at 39th and Townsend Street as 38 year old Shimala here.

So we do have an update.

with that breaking news as we come on the air here at five the dramatic arrest the suspect wanted in a weekend murder spree in Milwaukee

told news investigative reporter James Stratton witnessed the takedown he joins us now live from that scene James

police were here all afternoon at this home, three houses north of Fee Brands.

This tan home here just leaving the last 10 minutes.

Officers arresting that murder spree suspect right in the driveway here.

Our cameras rolling as police made their move.

And from what we can see, police fired a single rubber bullet, then a flashbang before knocking that suspect to the ground.

Police say he was wanted in three killings in one day.

Accused of killing Vanessa de Herrera, her friend, Scott Buckholz, on Saturday night at 21st in Pierce on the city's south side.

25 minutes later, police say that same suspect, that man, they say, killed Shyamala Hare at 39th in Townsend.

We are not showing that suspect's face.

No formal criminal charges have been filed.

We spoke with the head of the block.

in this neighborhood just moments after that arrest.

They did what they had to and they didn't have to shoot.

So that was a plus.

Did you see the flash bang and yeah.

Police have not detailed the motive in either shooting, but say this is the same suspect in all three of those homicides.

We're told by Central Booking he's not yet made his way downtown to be booked.

Once that happens, once charges are filed, of course, we'll learn more and keep you updated.
