I don't know if David Crowley was still even in the studio.

But Xavier was David still in the studio when this moment happened.

And so it was the end of the interview, correct?

I think this was probably the first time in his political career that Mandela Barnes has ever listened to good sound reason and logic whether he took

advice directly or the stars aligned some kind of way

that he had

no pathway to victory he was only in the race

to interrupt what David Crowley was was doing.

David Crowley has been in the race since last year.

Mandela gets into mess everything up.

He had to get out.

Let me ask you this.

My personal opinion.

didn't hear it until after you

stealthed it in at the end of that interview.

That was that was a stealth.

You know, I mean, I've heard you saying that he

should, you know,

and why he

was in there and all of that before even before the interview on yesterday.

But but you stealth that and it was like if you.

Don't believe he would like

ask

and you shall receive

exactly that's what

y'all play that

Of course, this is my opinion.

Okay, I Feel like Mandela Barnes should have run for another term with Governor Evers and Then I felt like he might have been prepped and a little bit more prepared and had a better look

to try to run for even the thing.

The Senate position was Ron Johnson or governor.

I felt like he would have been more had more of a. Do you understand what I'm saying?

Yes.

More of what was necessary.

To run for either of those positions and possibly win.

Right.

He was the heir apparent for governor.

Lieutenant governor.

You basically you are waiting until the governor.

either steps down, retires or gets appointed by president.

Right.

So all Mandela Barnes had to do was literally do nothing.

Lieutenant Governor's a great position.

You can do whatever you want.

You can travel the country.

You

can

raise money for other Democrats.

But he left Tony Ever.

This was problematic because you get elected Lieutenant Governor.

Now Tony Ever has got to find another Lieutenant Governor.

Right.

Mandela leaves his safe position where he was, in fact, the heir apparent.

He would have been the next governor.

takes the risk, runs for Senate.

Then we get Sarah Rodriguez

and you see how

she

ended.

Yeah, well,

then we have a crowded Democratic primary where the person that's in the lead Francesca Hong isn't even a Democrat.

All of this is because of Mandela Barnes.

He just stayed put because I talked to David offline yesterday.

David would not have even run for governor had Mandela just stayed lieutenant governor and the entire state in the city would be behind him because he would be the heir apparent.

Right.

He put us in this situation.

Yeah, I had enough and it was time for him to go and he finally listened.

Yeah, listen, all I know is I'd be scared as hell when Sherwin says your name If it's about something like you know, you really need you

really need to leave the city Homer and Bailey will instantly get one million

dollars

I think it was just it was divine timing

found out that he dropped, I was like, Oh,

We have all these other people, but what do you see happening with the momentum of David Crowley now that Mandela Burns is

out?

Some folks are

hopeful that the support that Mandela received will automatically go to David.

I think a part of that is true.

The biggest issue that we're going to face though.

So a lot of people would vote early because early.

Yeah, right.

Yeah.

And so since COVID, a

lot

of people get their ballots mailed to them.

So you already had a hundred and twenty some thousand ballots that have already been sent back.

Those voters really need a do over.

They need their ballots boiled because if you voted for Missy Hughes.

wasted vote.

If you voted for Sarah Rodriguez, wasted vote.

If you early voted for Mandela Barnes yesterday

morning, you now have a

wasted vote.

So how that's going to impact the race.

You probably have 200,000 votes that have been cast.

Half of those for candidates that are no longer technically in the race.

That's crazy.

whoever loses that amount of votes and it could be Francesca.

A lot of those votes because Madison voted in a very high number

when it comes

to early voting.

So she I don't know.

might have a bunch of spoiled ballots.

I guess we'll see.

Yeah, that's

that's the part that that that I'm afraid of.

It's like and we were talking about yesterday where the judge is like, nope, they don't get a do over.

Nope.

Yeah,

it is

what it is.

Democrats can appeal and another judge, another court can can put a stay on the ruling where technically it is possible that those individuals will have the chance to go and vote on election day.

But you'll have to note, hey, I made my mail my ballot in a couple of months ago.

I want to vote again.

And they should let those folks spoil their ballot because if you go on election day and vote and if you mess up on your

ballot,

it'll spit your ballot back out.

So there is a way in which you can revote if you mess up.

that process already exists or just not doing it for folks who mail their ballots in.

Yeah.

So,

uh, wow.

Any predictions for August 11th?

Sharon.

I think that it's going to be really tough to catch Francesca only because this entire time this entire primary season, no one attacked her.

No one

challenged her on her political views and political contests.

They're knocked down drag outs.

And not only did they not challenge her, they tried to like they agreed with her, which made her look like the queen bee because you have all these other candidates that are agreeing with her.

makes her look like the originator of these ideas and some of her ideas are fantastic.

They're not realistic.

And I think that that solidified her in the lead.

Now, you do have 34% of the voters that are undecided.

David could make a play for those voters because that 34% that's undecided, which is insane

to me.

The election is here.

They're waiting for someone else other than her to step up and to say something and to do something.

I don't know if the candidates are going to be able to put something together in the last literally week.

Well, I also while you were interviewing him on yesterday David Crowley heard him say that they're about to hit the road with Governor Evers Yeah,

because you know what?

First of all, it speaks volumes that Governor Evers had to former You know lieutenant governors in the race and endorse neither, right?

Okay, and but see the thing is I really feel

He, if he was going to endorse David, he should have done it a long time ago because, uh, you know, people need that help prior to that you down to the last few days of, you know what I'm saying?

Absolutely.

You know, so there's that too.

I just feel like, you know, uh, I, what I feel is, is that we may have a Republican governor

again, you know,

I think the shot

I mean I'm just saying

the shot in the

arm could be wrong

the shot in the arm that could change the whole dynamic and we would have no problem with having Milwaukee County exec David Crowley winning on August 11th is if we could go next door to which Sherwin kind of defecated on him on yesterday's Chicago and we could get President Obama

To come and campaign.

Yeah, I think it would make us such a huge dynamic shift.

Well, he is doing that around the country with some people.

I'm just saying.

Yeah.

What do you

think, Sherwin?

David Crowley does one rally at the Pfizer Forum with President Barack Obama, even better, a rally at.

Camp Randall in Madison.

Mm hmm.

The whole point of getting Tony Evers endorsement is it comes with all the star Democratic power that.

Yeah,

because very rare that an incumbent governor who is still popular.

Yeah,

yeah,

endorses somebody in primary.

And then if that endorsement doesn't come with some major muscle, you know, you might get some money and he's going to be touring the state with Tony Evers.

But if that doesn't come with one or two things, Tony Evers should have cleared the field of all the other Democrats asked all of them to step down.

Like they did for Mandela in two thousand twenty two.

Yeah.

Everybody got out the way so Mandela could run.

He ended up losing anyway.

Or Tony Evers can use his political star power to bring in a high level surrogate because Francesca is bringing surrogates in.

She's bringing in Ilhan Omar,

right,

who's

a member of the

Progressive Caucus.

Right.

Representative David needs to do something major and spectacular because a lot of folks are still on the sidelines.

Right.

If they

see that, you get

blessed by

Obama.

You know what I feel is very interesting now I heard this the other day after the latest poll came out or just prior to it that Francesca is so she's affiliated with the ultra left uh what's the guy's name that's mayor in New York what's his name

yeah, okay, mom Donnie so this organization this extra group their extra liberals or whatever and Even though she is supposedly like dues paying member of that organization She also declined said that she wasn't a part of it

She distanced herself

Like the Democratic Socialists.

And to compare New York and what a New York mayor can do to a governor of Wisconsin is like apples and oranges.

I mean, just the Bronx and Brooklyn, those two

boroughs

have more population than the whole state of Wisconsin.

New York is a whole different place.

So their

politics can't compare to ours.

Right.

hell?

So they got mad because they got hit and they pull out their gun and they start shooting.

They shot the person's tire, I believe.

Everybody pulled over.

And in a nutshell, uh, both of them got arrested.

It's

not funny, but it's funny,

but it

is funny.

It's like, like for real, like, I

mean, I gotta say that we tired of y'all out here with all this, you know, reckless driving.

I told you, sick and tired of being sick and tired.

That part.

I don't know how many times I can say it.

But if I have to keep saying it, I will.

So, yeah.

And with this situation, it's

crazy.

I think they both came up with like reckless and danger charges or something like that.

Yeah.

Right.

Endangering safety.

Yeah.

So now in the in in the story, it says the walkbillies arrested two women.

Right.

Wednesday, July 29 after a reckless driving incident escalated in the gunfire,

right?

Now you gotta wonder if they knew each other.

You don't understand.

Sometimes it'd be.

now according to

the law,

a reckless driver nearly nearly struck a pedestrian.

So she didn't.

And that was around 11 o'clock.

I mean, the other lady probably just had to jump out the way.

Yeah, so it might have been coming towards her.

I mean,

it was near Ethan Brown.

They might know each other.

It was near Ethan Brown.

So you get, you

know,

but imagine that and you say, you know what?

I'm going to show you

and

you pull out your gun.

And here's the reason that I say that I've seen so many social media videos where that has been the case where the person driving the vehicle.

was intentionally trying to hit right the person.

Yeah.

And other people.

Well, maybe

maybe this was not because

no, because the driver was arrested on suspicion of OWI and reckless and dangerous safety.

All the more courage to feel like I'm a getter.

Now,

maybe she had bloodshot eyes.

The pedestrian who was 48.

was also arrested for reckless and dangerous

safety.

Yeah, because of shooting.

Yeah.

You know, anybody could have got hit by that bullet.

And so the charges were referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's

Office.

I try to tell people that even, so think about it, this is a pedestrian that got angry because she almost got hit.

up on the sidewalk or what was happening here?

Well when you intoxicated, yeah, things can happen

so I hope that there is some video footage from a business or something.

in that area or a home or whatever Yeah, but yet like the frustration levels.

It's like I'm sure she called her some names before she pulled out her gun and fired at her She probably like

would have been enough to frustrate you to pull a weapon

I might have gotten her license plate number and just called it in.

She had no license plate.

We have the caller that we had to sit through as we had to take care of these bills, but Yeah,

bills So we was talking about Mandela Barnes and he was speaking on what did the Milwaukee Journal sent no article

say in particular and I wanted to end up reading a part of it and then allowing him to continue to make his statement.

But it starts out saying a Democratic Party of Wisconsin officials in 2025 hired an outside law firm to review allegations of inappropriate behavior involving young adult women against one of the party's stars Mandela Barnes.

The party launched the probe after an anonymous person sent the letter first to then party chairman Ben Wichler in 2024, accusing the party of turning a blind eye to the egregious way that Barnes has used this.

According to a person familiar with the party's response to the letter, Wickler was one of several within the Democratic circles.

To receive the letter, he immediately flagged it for the party's human resources and in-house counsel to look into it.

The sources who in recent days agreed to speak to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on the condition of anonymity said Barnes 39 has repeatedly taken advantage of his status within the party to seek sexual encounters with young adult women.

No one has allegedly has alleged that they were abused by Barnes.

They provided copies of text and other messages dating black to 2017 to corroborate their past discussions about their concerns.

He dated somebody, he got tired of them, and they were so angry because they had a great time with him that they decided to call him a walkie-journal and say he's dating someone else.

That's, you know, what I deduce from all the extra language that was used, the fever pitch, and the race for the primary is chaotic no matter what he does in his private life, and we can see that.

Uh, maybe he'll run for something else and win because of this.
