Todd kicks off today’s second hour with another Wisconsin sports update, focusing this time on Badger football and basketball. As we all know, the introduction of the transfer portal and lucrative name, image, and likeness deals have fundamentally altered college sports. UW Madison is doing its best to adapt, but it has its share of struggles. Todd breaks down the messy situation.

After finishing the sports update, Todd welcomes Alex Madorsky back to the show! As Associate Director of Government Relations for the Nature Conservancy, Alex is on top of conservation efforts in our state. As we’ve covered on this program previously, the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Fund is in jeopardy following its excision from the state budget. This is an issue that affects every Wisconsinite with an appreciation for nature. Both Republicans and Democrats have proposals on how best to continue the Stewardship Fund. Alex walks us through some of the key differences and what we as constituents can do to ensure our natural resources are well taken care of.
