In political news, Wisconsin gubernatorial candidate Bill Berrien has been caught with his hand in the cookie jar– or perhaps a few jars. Despite publicly echoing the Trump administration’s puritan sexual philosophy and anti-trans rhetoric, Berrien’s social media accounts tell another story. 

At the bottom of the hour, Wisconsin Watch Reporter Natalie Yahr joins us to share her latest article. In this story, Natalie looks at new difficulties faced by minority students. Several universities around the state currently rely on federal grants to support Hispanic students, providing a route to higher education for those who have historically had less access. President Trump’s Department of Education is now ending those programs. Despite this roadblock, several of our state’s schools have pledged to maintain their support of the growing number of Hispanic students.
