To kick off today’s show, Todd shares some breaking news: one of the most vile MAGA Christian Nationalists has died. James Dobson, known for demonizing LGBT people, promoting corporal punishment for children, and spreading antisemitic rumors about political opponents, has died at 89. 

Back here in Wisconsin, AP reports that one of our court commissioners has resigned. In July, Peter Navis denied ICE agents access to his courtroom without presenting an appropriate warrant. 

At the bottom of the hour, Civic Media Political Editor and Founder of The Recombobulation Area Dan Shafer returns for some recombobulation. After catching up on the incredible Milwaukee Brewers and the taste of victory at George Webb, Dan and Todd walk through our state’s political news. Unfortunately, “political news” also encompasses efforts to address the extreme flood damage in Southeastern Wisconsin, as FEMA has been politicized by President Trump.
