MAGA is going through some turbulence as the Trump administration is jumping through hoops to avoid releasing the Epstein files. President Trump initially ran on the promise that he would release these files that allegedly contain records of a pedophilic sex trafficking ring. After claiming that the files don’t exist and then that the Obama family created them, the administration is losing the trust of many MAGA content creators like Matt Walsh. 

At the bottom of the hour, Todd shares some breaking news. In layman’s terms, the US Supreme Court is saying the Trump administration’s Department of Education staff layoffs do not need to be reversed. 

After touching on the courts, Todd pivots to rural news that will greatly impact medical care around our state. As we and many others reported beforehand, Trump’s new federal budget is greatly endangering rural hospitals. Many of these facilities and their patients rely on funding from Medicaid, and they were already struggling to make ends meet before these new cuts to their programs. According to NBC, an estimated 17 million people may lose coverage, and over 300 rural hospitals across the country are at risk of closure.
