It’s No Joke: Be A Voter Today with Pat Kreitlow (Hour 1)
The Todd Allbaugh Show · Tue Apr 1, 2025
From
Here, high atop the tower behind the golden microphone with talent on loan from God.
Half my brain tied behind my back just to make it fair.
Happy Tuesday, everybody.
It is election day here across the state of Wisconsin, starting off with Zomers, a little unmasking.
The revealing of a two and a half year plan to teach you Democrats and the Democrat Party a lesson.
How in reality Robin Voss is actually controlling the state government of Wisconsin as you people Pursue your social agendas and What I want to start off with today Before we bring on one of those liberal Democrats is what you people seem not to get that the real enemies here are not Donald Trump
It's not the Republican Party.
It's not MAGA.
It's not Putin.
The real enemies of this country in Wisconsin are Canadians.
The people to the north who have been plotting to take over this country for years, but you people do not realize it.
Why?
Because you continue to listen to the Democrat Party and listen to social Marxists and put Canadian syrup on your pancakes.
I mean, you people, you don't realize right here in Wisconsin, right here in the United States, in Wisconsin, we have maple syrup?
In Vermont, for God's sake, there's maple syrup.
But still, you continue to drink the Marxist socialist maple syrup agenda from the Canadians.
True dough.
The Canadian maple syrup's turning the freaking kids gay.
Zomberous has a point.
we'd have less homosexuals in this country if they had less maple syrup from Canada and you people need to be taught a point here that you need to start drinking and using American maple syrup and one more thing that I hope you people listen and I want you to get real close to your radios get very close because I'm only going to say this once to the Neanderthal headed Democrats out there
Listen to me when I say this to you people, doing conservative right wing radio is effortless and enormously easy.
And one more thing, April Fools.
April Fools.
You see how easy that look and I'll add I'll add quickly doing left-wing screaming radio is equally as easy and now bringing on a serious host my friend my colleague a host of up to use radio pack right low happy April 1st Patrick
I heard that music and felt things that I haven't felt for so long and all I can say in response is one of my favorite social media posts that makes the rounds says, you ever hear about Rush Limbaugh anymore today?
No, you don't because he did nothing.
He achieved nothing.
He was nothing and he has already been forgotten.
I'll disagree with you on that with all due respect.
I think that the though where we find ourselves in today's social media and and the way that the magas have been able to infiltrate media, it was started, in my opinion, by a large by a rush in the 80s and 90s.
And that unfortunately is his legacy.
And that's very much alive.
But there's nothing about him as a man.
There's nothing about him as a person that ever had any redeeming social value.
And I don't miss him whatsoever, but now I will never ever hear you without realizing the similarities in the tone and texture and the timber of your voice.
Then there is to one of the most.
obnoxious and dangerous sloths ever to infect American airwaves.
But my
if
But the point is if if.
If you guys like you and I and gals like Jay Matt and others who actually put in time and research and try to bring people the truth, try to bring people accurate information.
If we didn't have to spend that time in researching and just come in every day and do what I just did to start the show, which is bellow and entertain and not care about the facts, think how easy our lives would be.
I
And to learn something, nothing new.
To learn nothing new as a result of it.
And so I'll tell the story that when that guy was first coming on the scene and when a guy called Charlie Sykes was coming on the scene in Milwaukee and Mark Belling.
And I was living in Milwaukee at the time.
Sherry was going to the medical college there.
And I had just gotten out of radio.
Uh, which reminds me, let me remind me some other time to tell you the Ernie Von Schledorn story.
Ernie Von
Um, yeah, I'll, I'll tell that some other time.
But anyway, I was no longer in.
All I could tell you while working at my office job was listening to these guys and the negativity and everything.
And I said, well, that'll never work.
Nobody's nobody's going to buy into that.
I said, turning on
WTMJ AM and listening to Gus Konorsky with household tips.
And I miss, I miss him to his, to this day.
He was a good, genuine, you know, a broadcaster.
And people said, no, I would rather respond to this.
So I'm not, I'm not afraid to admit the things that I was wrong about, but thankfully for me, my values and my taste were not among them.
Yeah, it's a great point I mean I was somebody who grew up with rush as a former Republican and a media guy and Zomers I listened to about 20 minutes of one of his earlier shows what was it Zomers?
1991 something like that and and and if you take away the lack of accuracy in much of the information Yeah, but but it was it didn't it can be enormously just a funny and entertaining because it's so over-the-top and that's what made him so popular and the fact that he didn't rush Limbaugh ever take himself
too seriously, he kind of tried to bring the audience in along with the joke.
And that's what endeared him.
And let's be honest, you know, he started out radio with the Kansas City Royals.
He was not a bad broadcaster, just his voice, his cadence, his tenor.
I mean, all of that stuff connected with an audience.
And again, that was the start of what we now know to be this streaming of MAGA and conservative radio.
if you want to call it talent, had gone into putting forward a show every day that talked about real American values of honesty and inclusivity.
and real patriotism and real policy, we might have a lot less of that fake Christian nationalism that we see out there now.
But instead, I mean, he was kind of the, he was kind of the Sodom and Gomorrah of, you know, the worst of broadcasting.
these days.
to
get this replaced and saying and them saying, well, you have to get the information off of it first.
Well, I can't because the screen doesn't work anymore.
You can touch it all day long.
Screen doesn't work.
So they will go to this Mac store and they'll they'll wipe it clean.
And they're like, we don't know how to do that.
You can't touch the screen.
It doesn't work.
They said, go to Best Buy.
So I went to Best Buy.
The geek there was like, no, we can't.
We can't do that.
So I take him back to the phone company.
And they're like, oh, well, that's basically.
You know, we can't help you then because you need to get into this thing to turn off like the find my location
device or
as well, but there was a point to it that what you're hearing on on these these podcasts like Joe Rogan and and what's a bucks and sexton and whatever the heck it's called a conservative radio I mean it's not serious and quite frankly it's extraordinarily easy to do.
Yes.
I mean, you just you just come on and bellow and yell and and whatever.
that
it was
metaphorically, and I've said it, so I can't deny that I said it, but because again, it was so easy for those folks to basically just punch a clock, you know, and say, oh, I came in, I said all these things on the far, far left, and now I'm going home.
I'm not gonna help the moderates, you know, raise any money so that Democrats could, you know, win a majority back in the legislature.
I just came to do my piece, collect my check, and go home.
So, no, it's, there is,
There's an intellectual laziness that comes with extremism.
It's a lot harder when you actually don't know all the answers, but you're willing to work with others to find
Oh, hey Todd, yeah, I was just going to lay out.
You know how Elon is cutting apart all of these different programs?
Well, if there were any businessmen in the audience, they would know that the first year startup for any kind of company is the most expensive.
And for Elon to rip apart some of the biggest agencies of the US government
He's basically saying that the Health and Human Services is going to have to triple their budget just to break even to start over again, or the Defense Department, or the, you know, pick an agency.
He's setting it up so that we're going to have to start over again.
Network!
Alright, the joke's gone far enough.
We don't want to get kicked off the air somers.
21 past the hour of 12 noon.
Yes, it is April Fool's Day, April 1st, 2025.
We opened up with, uh, some people were a little, uh, what?
Yes, I was doing a try to do a poor version of the old Rush Limbaugh show and making the point that conservative radio misinformation is enormously easy to do.
Even a goofball like me to do it can do it.
So if you want to listen to actual programming that's thoughtful and researched and brings you the truth, tune in every morning Monday through Friday 6 until.
8 a.m.
6 until 9 no 6 until 8 a.m.
I'm this 8.
It's 8.
Is that it?
All right.
I just I get confused I can only do there's only so much of me man.
Oh, come on Pat We want more.
It's like the goal.
It's like Wisconsin the hockey one two.
We want more
All right, let's go quickly to the phone lines if you could keep it.
Brief, please, because yes, there is an election today.
I want Pat to weigh in on that.
Very, very important polls are open until 8 p.m.
Let's go quickly to Brian in Milwaukee on WAUK.
Brian, if you can make it brief, please.
What do you have?
Yeah, I just want to say that if you did vote absentee, go to myvotewi.gov and make sure that they received your ballot.
For example, my ballot took almost a week to arrive.
It didn't arrive until March 25th and I did not get it confirmed until March 26th.
So if you go online and they have not received the ballot and it's not confirmed online today, you can still go in person and vote.
Appreciate that, Brian.
Also, like Xamarin's, I voted early on Friday.
There are instances where that takes a while for the computers to catch up.
So, you know, don't be too alarmed if it doesn't show up today.
It'll get there.
Our voting is safe and secure in Wisconsin, and our people at the polls are our heroes and do great work.
855-752-4842.
Los Angeles, California, the West Coast, we go.
Tom and L.A., if you could keep it brief, please.
Tom, what do you have?
Absolutely.
First off, we the people ultimately have a government and we must never forget it.
If Republicans in power are spewing it, you can bet they're doing it.
Rush Limbaugh, I didn't ever listen to him, but I did hear him a couple of times.
And, you know, his main goal was get rid of the new deal, rid of the FDR's new deal.
And I think he's been pretty successful through his radio antics of being able to do that.
We hear about waste, fraud and abuse a lot from the conservatives.
You know what waste is?
Waste is spending over $100 million on a Supreme Court race in Wisconsin.
That's waste.
And we need to get money out of politics and we need to vote Susan Crawford into the judgeship so we can get money out of politics.
If you are in favor of money and politics, vote for the BS candidate.
If you are...
oppose the money in politics, vote for Susan Crawford.
You know, everything else was, you know, a bit of some sort.
I mean,
it's a business and he'd be the first to tell you that it was a business and it was a business AM radio that was languishing until the right kind of shock jock came along.
It was Howard Stern for FM stations.
It was Rush Limbaugh for AM stations and in neither instance would I say our radios in our society is better for it but you know business is what it is and Rush Limbaugh was good for the business of you know those of us who yanked for a
Elon Musk in Green Bay over the weekend, give it out checks.
What do you make of this race, Pat?
Again, for those that might not know, you spent a term in the Wisconsin State Senate, your longtime broadcaster from the Chippewa Valley area in Wisconsin here.
You know this stuff very well.
What do you make of this election today for Supreme Court?
And what should people be watching as we cover this after eight o'clock tonight with the polls closed?
The main thing that you wish you could watch for because, you know, you don't get instant breakdowns of exit polling and things like that.
But for
for Elon Musk to win and I guess Brad Shimmel by extension would mean that a lot of people who show up for presidential elections to vote for somebody like Donald Trump will show up for an April election.
Now the conventional wisdom says that you know that they won't that they're presidential only but
I happen to believe that the Trump base is as energized as it's ever been.
I've always said, for every election, Republicans turn out, too many moderates make excuses, not to go, oh, the weather's not looking good or whatever the case may be.
They don't have nearly the rabid feeling of pressing need, or someone to call it patriotism, as those on the right.
So really, for me, it's about
turnout, turnout in the weather, people who didn't turn out in November, for example, because they were so turned off at that point already.
Well, they're certainly turned off by this race.
And so if I can say one thing to motivate those folks, it would be this.
As I said this morning, if you don't like the way this campaign went, if you thought it got ugly and negative, and Elon Musk wins because of it, what do you think every other election after this is going to look like?
The only, this is the only place to put a stop for it, a stop to it all.
It's right here, right now.
Totally agree and and after the bottom of the hour here, we're gonna dissect do a reality check as some of the people in TV business like to say on a radio ad that Trump is running right now, which is filled with lies and unfortunately I'm told that I know that we were and you know, you've been in broadcast broadcasting Pat So when these candidates give TV or radio stations ads we are obligated
this
and that's the thing You talk about how easy it is do to you know spew stuff from the right because it always fits on a bumper sticker You know no illegals, you know or something like that you want to give a thoughtful immigration policy You want to break down a lie about immigration?
It's gonna take longer than a bumper sticker and people's attention spans don't tend to get there so we need people who can Speak the truth, but at the same time also be
amazingly entertaining in the process.
And there's my commercial for the Todd Alba show.
Weekday afternoons from noon to two across the Civic Media radio network.
Well, thank
All right, we'll talk to you later, Pat.
Thank you so much.
Stay tuned.
Farm report is next.
And then yes, we'll dissect the Trump ad and also talk immigration and why it pertains to today's election.
on the afternoon.
Doing truth wherever if they lead and having fun doing it Welcome back to time of all show on the civic media already network 34 minutes now past hour of 12 noon on this Tuesday April 1st Don't be pranked by jokesters like Todd.
It's April 1st 2025 That was that was fun Thomas.
It was fun.
the point of it whether it's a point the point of it is to just to show people how easy it is to do uninformed right wing conservative talk radio where you just shout and scream and whatever and as we talked to quite low a Democrat there are certain shows on on the left that do the same thing what's difficult is to actually do research and bring people the truth that
Is is sussed out.
That's not based in just trying to gin people up And that's what we attempt to do every day on the show is what quite low attempts to do every day on his show up north news radio and others and That's the purpose of why we come to you today and on this election day April 1st and that is no joke and the implications of what could happen What will happen?
after eight o'clock tonight is no joke.
On the ballot, several things, check your local listings for times, as we say, but all of us will be voting on the Wisconsin State Supreme Court to date.
Susan Crawford, a balanced law and order candidate who has sworn to adhere to the Wisconsin and U.S.
Constitution, and Brad Schimmel, who has sworn to uphold Donald Trump.
That's the facts.
That's just that's not Todd making it up.
I get it.
I held up earlier.
I got it down here in my backpack.
I have a piece of literature from the Schimmel campaign with Donald Trump's picture on it.
That's what they're saying.
Not what I'm saying.
I don't think that's justice.
So I voted early and voted for Susan Crawford.
Voting is open today.
Polls are open until 8 p.m.
If you're
If you're able to, do it sooner rather than later because weather across much of Wisconsin could get dicey as the afternoon and early evening goes on.
Some places will start with rain, others ice, others snow.
So just go out and vote.
Remember you can register Wisconsin, you can register at the polls.
Same day registration.
What you will need is a legal ID and that includes a current
Valid not expired Wisconsin driver's license a valid not expired Wisconsin ID card a Valid not expired United States passport or United States Valid military ID
And then also, if you're going to register at the polls, you have to take along a proof of residency, which could be a paper, electric bill, utility bill, cell phone bill, or it could be on your cell phone.
If you get those bills electronically, but it has your name and address on it that match up, you can use that as well.
Remember, if you're in, if you do choose to wait,
If you're in line tonight and it hits eight o'clock, stay there.
Under Wisconsin law, you are entitled to vote if you are in line by eight o'clock at the polls.
8-5-5-7-5-2-4-8-4-2.
Let's go to Mark from prayer to sack.
Mark, thanks for waiting.
Let's say you.
Yeah, I'm surprised the Republicans aren't screaming for changing our state tree from the maple, sugar maple, to something else because we got, you know, the maple is assembled there.
But it's just, you know, it's getting crazier and crazier all the time.
I mean, that little Trump, thank God, that's what we've been playing like one day.
That's the first time I heard of this just today on civic media.
That Trump ad, and I just turned my stomach as my stomach is turned every time I take a look at Donald Trump.
And the old Rush Limbaugh, let's remember Rush Limbaugh, his big thing is he hated
Oh, Mr. Rogers, because Mr. Rogers was talking about being nice to each other.
He didn't like that idea at all.
You know, in Moscow saying today that empathy is a big problem that we have today, and how they can tie Christianity to that is just beyond me, because the message of Jesus primarily gave us is empathy, and these guys just don't have it in their souls.
I mean, it's just bad news.
We had to confront him and, you know, studio, studio, adulterer, marriage guy, you know, Robin Boss on wave number four.
I mean, I'd be even calling an annulment to us actually had having been a marriage because he tried to, he tried to finagle that.
So he would, you know, that, well, one of them was an annulment.
So that doesn't really count.
Well, I call PS on that and hopefully things will go our way.
One of our listeners just called in and shared that she was able to vote using an ID that expired a couple days ago.
I guess you can use an ID if it has expired after the most recent federal election.
However, if you have something that's not expired, that would obviously be preferred.
It makes it less likely to cause any problems down the line if that wall were to change.
And yes, if you have nothing else, I guess go.
Just realize it may depend on your polling place.
I mean, some people may ask you to cast what's called a provisional ballot, which basically means it only counts if it's... I'm putting this in layman terms, not legal terms, but it's going to take longer for that ballot to be cured.
It's a legal term, which means counted.
So if you do have a valid, non-expired ID,
Please use that.
But if you have nothing else, then to the caller's point, that may work keyword may.
So be aware of that.
I want to we've got a lot of texts and contacts.
Mark talked about this, this ad that is running right now on civic media.
And I mentioned this to our owner and CEO Sage Wild right before the show.
And he said, yeah, let's talk about it because.
I think a lot of people are saying, why would civic media put an ad on from Donald Trump that is filled with lies?
Well, to Crite Low's point earlier and just to reiterate that legally, we and any other broadcasting network or station are obligated under law to accept this.
And there are nuanced provisions where we can ask for them to redo it in this case.
If it directly says to go out and hurt someone, like pound the crap out of Democrats, we could make them redo that.
A non-FCC compliant word.
But beyond that, we are obligated to run these ads.
And that's a whole other kettle of fish and why we should get more money out of get money out of politics and that.
But we're running for what we have here.
But what they can't prevent us from doing the campaigns is doing something that broadcast networks call a reality check.
So we're going to play this ad and we're going to stop it and we're going to fact check it here.
This is an ad bought and paid for by Brad Schimmel's campaign on this network and others.
And here we go.
That part, as they say in news business, needs more clarification.
As a talk show host, I'll say it's BS.
It's complete lie.
We've talked on this show numerous times.
that the January 6th not all but many of the January 6th insurrectionists that attacked the capital illegally and entered beat cops law enforcement agencies agents One of them at least or there are several but one in particular a guy from Pulaski confessed and Posted on his own social media that he pepper spray bear sprayed bear sprayed
cops on January 6th.
He was tried by a jury of his peers, found guilty and sentenced to prison by a federal judge.
Brad Schimmel on Vicky McKenna's conservative talk radio, speaking of people that spew lies, said, do we have the cut summers?
All right, very good.
Here's what Schimmel said about beating cops.
The same thing for these January 6th defendants who were all prosecuted in the Washington DC district, which is overwhelmingly liberal.
This part of the manipulation
to districts like that.
They would never take their prosecution in a district where you had a fair shot as a defendant.
Stop right there.
Locked up drug gang members?
Really?
Because I would think if that were true that he would have really put that up front in his own hands.
Hey Look at this trend of log water, whatever gang member that I put behind prison in Wisconsin.
Have it.
I don't know anything about that.
Haven't seen that We'll classify that as needs more clarification go because the kind
Let into our country Let into what what does Trump mean there the kind of people that they quote let into our country unquote if People were let into the country.
They were vetted if people came here undocumented.
That's a different deal and Again Brad Jimmel from his own mouth has said that he does not support law and order.
He does not support
law enforcement because he believes that the January 6 insurrectionists who beat the 11 crap out of law enforcement and caused several of them to die by suicide, that they, the people that beat the cops, that they got a raw deal.
Thank you a deranged lunatic So as you can see in that what is a 30 second ad it's a minute.
Oh, it's a minute In a one minute ad Donald Trump lies repeatedly about Brad Schimmel his qualifications and lies about judge Susan Crawford
And again, the reason there is a committee here at Civic Media, which I'm on, and also the non-candidate, in other words, ads that are not purchased by candidates directly by political action committees, we have more purview.
And so we have a committee here at Civic who listens to all the ads that come in, and then we vote.
Does this meet our standards of our company?
And on those ads, we can send them back.
And we have, there's don't hold me the exact number, three, four, five, somewhere between three and five ads.
Over the last year and a half.
We've had this committee that we have sent back and they have been changed But when it's a an ad from a candidate We are required to carry it And yes, it's public record.
I'll say it $13,000 that that ad that you heard When Zomers and I collect our check from Civic Media in two weeks or a week and a half $13,000
will be put into our account.
But my point is that Civic is making 13 grand on this.
Buy.
So I think we need to be fair and clear and transparent about that.
That's in our mission statement for our company.
Doesn't mean we like it.
But that's why our company is investing in community and taking that money from Elon Musk and investing in our community and put people like me on the air to tell you the truth.
Back after this in the Civic Media Beauty Network.
Pursuing truth, wherever it may lead, and having fun doing it.
Welcome back to the title ball show of the Civic Media Running Network.
Glad to have you along.
It is nine before the hour of two o'clock, two o'clock.
I can't eat a head of myself.
It's nine minutes before the hour, one o'clock, one o'clock, Todd.
Coming up next hour, by the way, be here.
You do not want to be absent, because once again, next hour in our text to win contest,
You, the listening viewing audience, will have a chance to text in and just out of the entries from our program, we are going to give away an overnight stay, a getaway at the beautiful Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells.
But stand by, don't text yet.
I'll give you a secret word next hour you text in and you can win a getaway to the Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells and be eligible.
For the grand prize of a beautiful verlo mattress Complete with a bamboo steamer.
No, I'm sorry Bamboo sheets this bamboo sheets included in that verlo mattress.
So it's me listening for that also a what's worse in our number two and Hope to get to talking a little bit more about these folks who were swept up
And these raids by Trump's ice and sent to El Salvador to these awful they call them prisons is essentially dog kennels for humans and Why now even somebody people on the right are calling some of these most egregious things out and guess what?
the Trump administration says We can't get him back and why that actually matters
To this election today for Supreme Court justice speaking of I want to bring you a cut That was brought to my attention this morning.
This has been out there a while It is from 2018 All right Where Brad Schimmel was giving a speech it appears to a rotary club And he's bragging I want to play this for you so you know your choice today Take away all the policy stuff
Listen to this at Brad Schimmel's own words and ask yourself, is that the kind of person that you want on the Wisconsin Supreme Court?
This is Brad Schimmel from 2018 talking to a group of Rotarians about disciplining his child and what a kick he got out of acting like a prosecutor against her.
And she reminded me of a story that I cannot deny.
We had picked up our oldest Mackenzie at a friend's house and There'd been a fib.
I don't know what the fib was anymore But she had told a fib about something and she was denying that she had fibbed so this car ride home I'm gonna get her on the witness stand.
So she's in the backseat.
I adjusted the mirror so I'm looking right at her and she's looking right at me and every time she looks away I said look at me and
I don't think I looked at the road the whole way.
And I got her back there and I'm grilling her about this and I'm rebutting every fib she piles on the fib.
And I got a Perry Mason moment right there in my car.
She broke down.
I did it.
I did it.
I did it.
And I won my trial.
She is a next witness.
You know, rest my case.
Well, she's in the backseat.
She is just crying miserably.
My wife's looking at me like I'm a monster.
And I was proud of myself.
I just beat up on it.
She's probably eight.
I just beat I just psychologically beat the daylights out of an eight year old in the backseat.
That was
His own wife.
looked at him in his words like a monster, like he was a monster, saying he was proud to essentially verbally assault his own child to the point where she broke down.
If that's the kind of person you think belongs on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, then go to the polls today and vote for Brad Schimmel.
If it's not, then don't vote for Susan Crawford, a jurist.
Who is tough on crime?
A jurist who does back the blue and law and order a jurist who swears to the Wisconsin and United States Constitution and Not to a person and certainly not to Donald Trump Polls are open until 8 p.m.
Tonight Go to my Wisconsin vote.
Pardon me my vote dot wi dot gov my vote
W I dot GOV to find your polling place near you You can register at the polls make sure you bring along a photo ID a driver's license a state ID card a passport or Military ID.
I believe tribal IDs work as well, but don't quote me on that one Bring if you're registering make sure you bring along a Proof of residency a phone bill life bill electric bill
You can also use electronic version and register at the polls.
Don't be that person.
Don't be the person who wakes up tomorrow and your candidate didn't win.
And you say, I was just so busy, I didn't think it would count.
Every vote's gonna count and just raise you guys.
I promise you that.
If I come on the air tomorrow and it's a blowout,
One way or the other, I'll apologize to you.
But everything that I'm seeing, everything that people are telling me, they're a lot smarter about me, this race is going to be enormously close tonight for Supreme Court.
Also for Department of Public Instruction.
Also on this referendum.
Again, I voted no on it.
My guess is it will pass.
It's unneeded.
Wisconsin already requires an ID to vote.
There's also local referendum, school board, city council.
The way that government democracy and liberty die is when we do nothing.
People have died for our right to vote.
Go do it today.
Polls are open until 8 tonight.
Myvote.wi.gov.
Come on back.
Hour number two is next after a news, weather and sports update.
A chance to win a trip to Chula Vista Resort in the Delves after this on the Allball Show.
