As we near the bottom of the hour, Todd updates us on a new $400m contract between our government and Tesla. Elon Musk, the man ostensibly in charge of rooting out government corruption and unnecessary contracts, is entering a new agreement to provide our country with armored Tesla vehicles. This conflict of interest epitomizes Musk’s blatant opportunism. 

The loneliness epidemic has reached new heights as AI chatbot romances are becoming dangerously popular. The simulated perfection of an AI companion can be addicting, making someone less likely to tolerate rejection in real life. Todd brings us some ways to work around this quagmire, mainly through reading literature and philosophy about real human relationships.
