Yesterday, President Donald Trump signed a multitude of executive orders, including a blanket pardon for everybody involved in the January 6, 2021 insurrection. Granting clemency to felons who assaulted police officers is hardly “backing the blue,” but Judge Brad Schimel is all for it. Even Representative Glenn Grothman doesn’t believe that violent offenders from that day should be pardoned. 

At the bottom of the hour, Luke Mathers joins us for some Tuesday Tangents to continue discussing the ways MAGA downplays the violence against law enforcement from that day. This pardon demonstrates that Donald Trump really does mean the ridiculous garbage that he says.
