After touching on the latest NFL and college basketball news, Todd brings us Sophie Carson’s new article in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on H1B visas. Todd spent a lot of time managing H1B applications under former US Congressman Scott Klug. He explains how this program works and the ways it impacts both our state and national economy. Just like other aspects of immigration, this is a complex issue that would take a lot of time and money to unravel. Hundreds of Wisconsin businesses hire employees with H1B visas. 

At the bottom of the hour, Luke Mathers joins us for another round of Tuesday Tangents! He and Todd go over what politicians on each side of the aisle are saying about H1B visas. Unfortunately, since immigration is such a polarizing issue, American candidates and elected officials are not inclined to fix it. If they do, neither Republicans nor Democrats can campaign on it.
