Todd has made it back from Seattle a bit earlier than expected. Trygve Olson of The Lincoln Project was intending to guest host the show today, but in light of yesterday’s tragic shooting at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, he and Todd are hosting together. As somebody who has lost a child, Trygve has a unique insight on the impact of events like these on families and communities. 

Todd begins with a review of the information we know so far before asking the question: when is the right time to have policy discussions after tragic events? Is there even a real chance we can enact change while MAGA Republicans have control of our government?
