Aaron’s board game of the week is Gloom! Using unique transparent plastic cards, each player controls the lives of an eccentric Victorian family. The goal is to inflict the most suffering on your characters before they die a tragic death, and to make good things happen to your opponents’ characters. It’s a sad concept, but the satirical tone makes it a lot of fun.
