Today, former State Senate Majority Leader Dale Schultz returns to the show to make an announcement. Despite being a Republican, he is officially endorsing the Harris-Walz presidential ticket! As he says, while he may be proud to be a Republican, he’s more proud to be an American. Dale walks us through the reasons he supports Vice President Harris, and he hopes others will join him.

From Thursday's show: The Growing Story Of Lake Mendota’s Ancient Canoes

At the bottom of the hour, we are excited to welcome Wisconsin State Archaeologist Dr. Amy Rosebrough! Over the last few years, she and other archaeologists have been recovering a cache of canoes out of Lake Mendota. The oldest canoe so far is approximately 4,500 years old! These remarkable artifacts are telling a growing story about the history of our area.
