Continuing on at Volk Field, we welcome Senior Master Sergeant Reid Scott, the Northern Lightning Enlisted Coordinator to explain his role! Northern Lightning is such an enormous training program that people like SMSgt Scott work year-round to make it happen. He also takes your calls on how our military keeps tabs on foreign equipment to stay as ready as possible at any moment. 

At the bottom of the hour, Master Sergeant Joline Powell speaks about recruitment and retention. Her statements echo those of everybody else we’ve talked with on our program. The Wisconsin Air National Guard becomes a family for those who enlist. People like MSgt Powell seek to cultivate talent, providing opportunities for all eligible citizens to serve their country and grow as an individual while doing it.
