Between CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, and others, he’s laid down the facts in a firm and respectful manner. Secretary Buttigieg has been a champion of Vice President Harris’s achievements, simultaneously playing up just how strange MAGA Republicans are. Todd breaks down the new emphasis on weirdness in Democratic messaging with a focus on Secretary Pete. 

If you’ve heard any of Donald Trump’s speeches lately, you’ve likely heard him ramble about “the late, great Hannibal Lecter,” a fictional serial killer and cannibal from the movie The Silence of the Lambs. Trump refers to Lecter at least once per speech as of late, accompanied by an admission that people don’t like when he does it. Todd has a hypothesis on why Trump has this obsession. Does Donald Trump recognize that asylum seekers have nothing to do with “insane asylums?” Todd doesn’t believe so.
