In other news this morning, Kimberly Cheatle, Director of the Secret Service, has stepped down. In the wake of the shooting at a recent Trump rally, the Secret Service has been heavily criticized for its response. As a result, Deputy Director Ronald L. Rowe, Jr. is stepping up as Director. 

At the bottom of the hour, Luke Mathers joins us for some Tuesday Tangents! It’s been two weeks since he and Todd have seen each other, but it feels as though it’s been a year. Between the attempt on Donald Trump’s life, his pick of JD Vance as Vice Presidential candidate, and Joe Biden dropping out of the race, much has happened. Todd and Luke catch up on the news and celebrate the accomplishments of President Biden.
